"First I did not receive any e-mail from this person from my website. He did not contact me through Angie’s List. I respond to all my messages within the same day. I would have answered this members message as I do with all my messages. He contacted my office on 3-27-15, an appointment was scheduled for the following Monday for a free estimate on 3-30-15 between 10:00 - 10:30 am. On 3-30-15 I called this person to see if I could go over earlier for the appointment, I arrived at 9:43 am. I went over the project that he wanted, and then stated I would have to get back with him with a quote. I then asked this person if I could get their e-mail since I was not able to give the quote on the spot. On 4-1-15, one business day later, My secretary sent an e-mail to this person stating: Thank you for the opportunity to provide you with a quote. After reviewing the job I would recommend another company, and gave a name of another company with their phone number. On 4-3-15, the same day he gave me the review, he contacted my office to say he did not receive any emails from my company. When we looked into this, we found out we did have the proper email address. The very next day I contacted the member and spoke to his wife, to see if I could talk to the member and explain why I could not give an estimate on the job. He was busy and I left my cell phone number for him to give me a call back. On 4-6-15, we left a voicemail for the member to contact the office so I could talk with this member. Within 10 minutes, I got a text message from the member, that he had been busy and would give me call when he had more time. As of this date, I have never received a phone call from this individual. As for Punctuality, I arrived at this individual’s house 17 minutes before my appointment. The reason I contacted this member as to why I could not give a bid for the work that was being done was because this member was requesting work that I could not do. I have done no work for this individual at all, and don’t feel it is fair that he left the review that he did. By me arriving earlier than my scheduled appointment, my punctuality should be an A. With that being said, an A, F, C grade should be an B overall. In lieu of how this member reacted, I am grateful I did not do any work for this individual."
