We wanted to replace an overhead foyer/entry light (which wasn't working anyway), a hallway light, and a dining room light. We provided new Ikea globe fixtures for the foyer and hallway, and a George Nelson hanging saucer lamp for the dining room. Lucas and Matt arrived on time, got right to work, were efficient and courteous, and even swept up after the work was finished. We asked Lucas about some other electrical work we might want/need in the future. He was knowledgeable and helpful and gave us written estimates. We had purchased a coupon from Angie's List that covered $200 of the work. All in all, an excellent experience.

Lucs worked the job, explanied what he wanted to do. I needed to get a drywall compnay because of cutout. Their was no surprises.

Bolt Electric followed up immediately upon receiving notice that I had purchased the Angie's List deal. They were very accommodating to our schedule. On the day of the installation, they called ahead of time to let me know the approximate time of arrival, which was well within the window they had given us. Lucas was there right on time, was courteous and professional, and answered all my questions.

Very professional, perfect job

They did exactly as advertised. They came out and did the job and I told them I had some other things I wanted to get done. They said fine and they didn't try to push anything. They were very kind. I have three homes and I was only approved for two and they did the third one at the same rate even though there were no more deals available. The experience was excellent and I will be using them again in spring.

Ok but way over priced.

I was pleased with my new TV and immediately plugged it in. The hall lights, the outlet for the TV, all the electricity in one bedroom, various outlets in the two bedrooms, and all the overhead fixtures were OUT. Early the next morning I went to Angie's List and found Bolt Electric. They could not have been nicer. I asked if I should purchase the special for $99.00 or should I apply the 15% discount as a new client from Angie's List. The receptionist advised me to wait and see which deal would be most cost efficient and they would honor my choice.
Lucas and Matt arrived on time that afternoon and were professional, informative, and very knowledgeable. I learned that my electical box was overloaded, some incorrect wiring and very dangerous. We agreed to have it replaced and wiring corrected the next day.
Again they arrived on time and worked non-stop from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM. I now had a pretty BIG new box and fancy wiring but of course my 70 year old house had more problems. It seems that there were 19 cut wires (still connected) in our crawl space and all the original outlets had to be replaced and rewired.
The next day Lucas arrived again as scheduled and worked another 4 hours. He is a pleasure to have in my home and indeed a true professional. The electrical system is now totally up to code.
and quot;You get what you pay forand quot; certainly applies to my experience with Bolt Electric! As a realtor I now have the best electrician for my clients and if I need any additional electical work I will definetely call Bolt!
