If I could give zero stars I would! Do not go anywhere near REAL TIME RELOCATION. They claim to care about their customers and the experience, but it's a lie! The sales person I spoke with was charming, charismatic, and I bought it. We were given a quote for our move over the phone. They do not have agents come to your house for the estimate, they rely on you to tell them what you have. Our quote was $4994. I put down a deposit of $2144. Three days before our move, the same salesman called me back to ask if we had any extra boxes. I added some lawn tools- shovels, rakes, etc and 20 boxes. I was put on hold for 75 mins as he "added up" our extra items. I finally hung up and was immediately called back by the same guy. The cost of my move now jumped to $10,000! I said no way! I couldn't afford it. The salesman said I could not have my deposit of $2144 back. After a lot of back and forth, I said no deal, I'd rather lose $2k then spend $10k. The next day the owner of REAL TIME RELOCATION called me. He asked if we could work something out. I said I didn't trust them this point if possible would like a refund. He said he would work with me and get me some money back. I have now reached out to him five times since June 22 and he keeps putting me off. Telling me he'll be in touch and never calls or texts. It's awful. I'm a single woman supporting my elderly mother, trying to do the best we can. I can't afford to lose $2,000. So I'm posting this review everywhere I can think of. DO NOT USE REAL TIME RELOCATION.

Do not use this company. There are hidden fees that they do not tell you about. There was proof from the recorded calls that I asked a question multiple times to 2 different people from the company and got an exact answer and confirmation. they confirmed that I was telling the truth and was told one thing and that even with that proof they would not be honoring it what they said. You CANNOT use a CC they will charge a 5% fee every time that they do not disclose or tell you about at all. They book appointments at 8 am but donâ t open until 9am so if something is going wrong you cannot reach them. I have moved 4 times in 4 years due to my job and I have never worked with a company this bad. They are unprofessional and do not rectify situations and the customer service rep explained that they were ok with not being recommended and bad reviews because they get their money regardless. Please if you see this - do not use this company. True SCAM! I will make sure I find every place to review them in hopes to help someone else not make a bad decision.

Hired to do a cross country move. Paid several thousand dollars on deposit. My job offer fell through , so I had to put my move on hold. I attempted to find another job for about two months in the new location with no luck. Real time refused to return all or part of my deposit. They were very slick talking on the sale end, but very snarky and condescending on the refund portion. I received no services from them outside Of the phone calls and emails for the sale. Please save yourself the headache and look elsewhere as these guys are only about money and not service.

We had a subpar and stressful move with Real Time Relocation. After being quoted what we thought was a great price to move within the state of Florida, along with great and courteous customer service from another employee, the move went south on our actual move day. After receiving a quote including 2 trucks and 4 workers, we were disappointed to have only one truck and 2 actual employees show up on move day. There was an additional third-party "mover" that showed up to help move and disassemble furniture prior to the movers showing up who we are pretty certain either THREW AWAY or STOLE the screws to THREE pieces of our furniture, including our main and only dining table (which is still sitting unassembled in our garage).

RUN and DONâ T STOP. We hired them to move my deceased Fatherâ s belongings/memories from Florida to Ohio. All the boxes and belongings are smashed and his favorite TV the screen is separated from the TV. His brand new $4,000 bed is squished, distorted and lumpy. Not to mention the quoted price and final price was greatly increased. My items were held hostage on the truck until I paid cash or Zelle and of course we paid it to get my Dadâ s belongings. This is beyond upsetting and my Dadâ s memories are gone. Please help

I was given a $900 quote. A week before the move, the quote jumped to $1900. I was charged $100 to move my golf cart....THEY NEVER MOVED IT. They didn't call back so 2 days after the move I had to call them. They gave me some lame excuse saying they couldn't move the golf cart. The woman said she would "try" to get me the $100 refund. TRY??? They agreed to refund my $100. It has been 4 weeks and STILL NO REFUND!!! I am a vet and a senior. They took advantage

This company should be ashamed of the way they run their business. I cannot warn you strongly enough to not use them if you value your time or your property. They managed to take the stressful process of moving and turn it into a full blown, 5 alarm dumpster fire. Below are the major issues we had when using them for our long distance move from FL to NYC. They low balled the estimate up front, and then called a couple days before the move (after we had already paid for half the move and it was too late to back out) to tell us that they wanted to ask a few follow-up questions to get a more accurate estimate. Now that we were on the hook, they nearly double the price they had initially given us. Some lies/misleading statements that we were told: "We will get your stuff to you as quickly as 3 days, up to 10 days" Our stuff sat in a truck for over a week before it ever got on the road. When we called to check on our stuff, we were told they could not even tell us where the truck was, or when it would be leaving, and not to keep calling as they are "very busy." After 10 days had passed, we called again and were told that they legally had up to 21 days to get us our stuff, and "we should consider ourselves lucky" that they would be getting it to us sooner than that. We do not outsource/give your stuff to a 3rd party: Wrong! The people who delivered our stuff were not affiliated with Real Time Relocation. This 3rd party company showed up in a semi, despite RTR saying this would not be the case. We were promised 24 hours notice when our stuff would arrive, but got 2 hours notice instead. Your stuff is safe with us, and "we have insurance" in case anything happens: They broke multiple pieces of furniture in transit, including a brand new bookshelf and a 65 inch tv. After waiting 3 months for the insurance, we were told our TV was insured for roughly 60 cents per pound of the object. The TV which had recently been purchased for over $400 was reimbursed for $20. Again, I would urge you to find a different company to use for your move if you don't want to regret your choice like I do!

I hired Real Time Relocation last minute with a spur of the moment move. They made moving an extremely straightforward process, and I really felt at ease with trusting them after the numerous questions they asked during the initial estimate. The attention to detail is what really sold me- these guys care. They werenâ  t the cheapest, but I certainly got my moneyâ  s worth. The crew was careful, and were prepared to handle some stuff I didnâ  t manage to get packed up in the kitchen. To the owner- John, your guys do amazing work. Keep it up. Sincerely, Joseph

I contracted Real Time Relocation to handle my move from Wisconsin down to Florida. Not only did they keep their word, but of all the companies that I dealt with they were the most honest and upfront. When the movers arrived, they handled my stuff as if it was theirs- making sure every box they touched was handled with care. I will say- when I thought I packed my TVs, I was told my blankets were not enough. They provided proper boxes but charged me for them, so if you are packing your own stuff just make sure it is done right. Delivery was swift, and they left me with my home put back together. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for honest help.

First they arrived with no tools or any boxes for the TVs and artwork they were contracted to pack. I was told by Nick, the manger that if there was still room on the truck, id be able to put more things on. Not true once they put stickers on the things on your inventory ..they would not even put in a small speaker. I got my things 3 days later after paying. I got a call from the delivery guy at 10am to advise me he would be here in 2 hours. He arrived at about 6pm. The only things that was not damaged were the clothing. Both my 55 and 65 TVs were smashed. One of my paintings had puncture marks on the canvas. I can understand some things damaged but not almost every single thing. To add insult to injury, when I called C.S. when I saw all my things treated like garbage, and Sam who answered the phone told me it was too late to be calling. The next day in the afternoon, Stephanie finally calls me back only to send me a link and wash her hands of everything. No accountability, too bad so sad.

One member of the moving crew â forcedâ items apart (speaker stands, desk) rendering them unusable. Glass lamp shades were not handled properly resulting in breakage of three of them. Upon delivery, boxes were stacked 3 and 4 high with fragile items (clearly marked on boxes) on the bottom.

This was my first experience with a mover, and I should have heeded the warnings I was given. I moved from Florida to North Carolina and had a specific move date of October 12th. In my first conversation with their salesman, I was told that if I gave my furniture 5 days in advance, there should be no issue. So I said, that is no problem. We organized the pickup to be on October 7th so they had sufficient time to handle the logistics of drop-off. Then when I called again to give my deposit, I asked again to be doubly sure that they could deliver on the 12th. Suddenly, the salesman was a bit nervous to say yes. He got me the owner on the phone who was saying that he could not guarantee the 12th, because what if a storm came through or what if there was bad traffic, etc? Of course, I understand that things happen. But within reason, I wanted to be reassured that unless there were extenuating circumstances my move would be delivered on the 12th. The owner affirmed that this was the case. Fast forward to October 4th/5th when they call to do a QA check, basically making sure that you are still bringing the same items, etc., I once again asked to make sure that everything was in line for the drop-off. The gentleman told me I would need to check that with Stefanie, the logistics manager (not sure if that is her title, but that is what she does.) I would have to wait for Stefanie to give me a call. Stefanie does call me the same day, which is probably the only good thing they did the entire move. The pick-up went as planned, but now she was telling me that the drop-off could not be guaranteed AT ALL. She was saying my delivery was the first in the truck to be dropped off and could arrive BEFORE the 12th. Uh, what? I would not even be in North Carolina before the 12th. Both the salesman and owner knew that. So I pushed back and said that was unacceptable. If the items got to NC before I did, she told me that they would have to be LEFT IN STORAGE and picked up the next time that they had a move in the area. She let me know that could be days or weeks later. When I continued to push back and tell her this was ridiculous, she then confirms that she will do whatever it takes to get my things delivered on the 12th even if she has to pay the drivers out of pocket. They pick up my items on the 7th. I leave Florida and arrive in North Carolina on October 12th around 8 AM. I was told that the window for delivery was 8 AM-8 PM on the 12th. I understood that they could not give me a more specific window. And the mover would be calling sometime on the 12th with an estimate for when they would arrive. I get the call, and he tells me that they should be arriving in the afternoon between 1 PM and 5 PM. No problem sounds great. I hang up. 4 PM, still no movers. Now I get another text from the mover letting me know that they are in New York and have not left yet. I was told 7 AM - 10 AM. Here comes 10 AM, and in comes ANOTHER text. They had to pick up a different move, so they would not be arriving until after 8 PM. In other words, the company prioritized another move over my drop-off. That is not extenuating circumstances. That is just selfish and completely out of line. After calling Stefanie, she is completely nonchalant about it and simply says that in the email she sent, she DID say 10/12 or 10/13. So I ask to speak to the owner who lets me know this was a second company that scheduled the pick-up. The owner agreed that it was not acceptable and he said he would be calling the other company to get me compensation. Now it is October 17th, and with the move delivered, they do not care to give me decent customer service anymore. I have not heard from them. When you set up everything with them, they will seem very attentive and caring, and flexible. They are none of those things.

They did a great job. Although there was a mix up with the time of my move, the issue was clearly communicated and quickly resolved. The three movers worked very quickly and were able to get everything loaded in less time than estimated. All of my furniture was carefully moved and nothing was damaged. Would definitely use again for a future move.
