One Hour NIGHTMARE! 11/15/2017 - A 1hr technician arrived to my house to clean my ducts. They informed me that due to the age and condition, they cannot be cleaned. This is a dishonest tactic and a lie. Turns out, they WILL NOT clean flex duct even if it is brand new. We opted to have our ducts replaced, a $7800 deal. 11/20/2017 - Crew arrives, late. They work 4 hours and say they ran out of material. Will be back at 0830 the next day. Salesman calls me a liar and accuses of trying to get free duct work when I have the conversation on home security of "Age and deterioration" being the reason they will not clean my ducts. Again, they flat out will not clean flex duct. 11/21/2017 - Crew arrives at 1000. Work 14 hours. At 2100 they tell me they are finished and will be back tomorrow. I was informed this is a 2 day job and I took unpaid days off from work already. I told them they can work until they are finished. At midnight, they informed me they ran out of materials and would need to reschedule. Air ducts connected to have air flow for holiday. Spoke to the owner, David Cox. Explain to him, upon my inspection, I see ducts not connected, not sealed, trash EVERYWHERE. Cigarette butts on ground, attic insulation tossed around, ducts laid over wires, Holes not sealed, UV Device not working properly, inside of house left a mess, violated contract by not using protective shoe covers or floor protection. 11/25/2017 - Expert team arrives. Informs me they need to remove all the previous work as it was done incorrectly and not to the engineers plans. Holes were left wide open, leaving air flowing into attic and hot garage air being pulled in from another hole. Employee steps through ceiling leaving a giant hole. Job is still unfinished as they don't have the duct material, other duct joints not sealed, vents installed incorrectly, ceiling damaged from larger vent holes being cut. UV Device still not working correctly. 11/28/2017 - Scheduled a 1900 appointment for another technician to come and (Hopefully) finish the job. Technician calls at 2000 saying "On the way" I explain my appointment was 1900. Tech says he was over scheduled by the company. I tell him not to come as he was already an hour late and just now "on the way" I call owner of company, David Cox. He explains the company had a scheduling conflict and overscheduled people. On a separate call, the main office says "Confirming you cancelled the techs appointment." I inform them the tech was already an hour late. I didn't cancel anything. He was late. Now I am again waiting to be rescheduled, while my HVAC system is incomplete and my home damaged. 11/29/2017 - Another employee of the company explains to me that 7pm was never meant to be set as an appointment by their front office staff and this was miscommunication on their end. It was meant to be an on call request. Schedule On Call service for 11/30 11/30/2017 - I asked to reschedule for 2100. Cannot leave work on time as it is EOM. I will lose my job. I used my last PTO day and an unpaid day back when this job was started and should have been finished. I am told 2100 is too late as there is 2-3 hours of work still needing completion. Still have not heard from the drywall contractor about fixing giant hole in ceiling. 11/30/2017 - Employee arrives at Noon. My wife is home to meet. Employee ensures management that everything I have seen has been fixed or completed, as well as stuff I didn't see. I go into attic and notice things that were discussed ARE NOT FINISHED! I call the manager and tell him. I am accused of pulling on the air duct, causing the mastic seal to break. However, I never pulled anything nor did anyone attempt to seal. Manager tells me "You need to find out what's wrong and you need to be present so you can tell us what to fix, not your wife" So much for being professionals. 12/3/2017 - I go into attic to look at everything so I can tell the "pros" what needs to be done. During this process, I find old vent boots and more trash. I also throw my back out and begin to have muscle spasms to the point I cant even walk. 12/4/2014 - Had to use sick day from work to visit doctor. 12/5/2017 - Rescheduled for 1900-2100. Still have not heard back from drywall person to fix big hole in my ceiling. Owner, David Cox, offers excuse after excuse. "This is construction, things happen" "Overscheduling" "Hard to work around your schedule" If the job was sold honestly and done right the first time, I wouldn't be writing this right now. Also, they advertise 24 hours of operation, they just leave out the "only if qualified personnel are available" part. Dishonest, Poor customer service, Poor workmanship, unprofessional, will take advantage of your lack of knowledge.
