Thursday (6/27) we called & advised them we needed someone to come detect where our leak was and also advised we needed it fixed asap. They advised they always arrive with a fully loaded truck and should be able to assist same day (this is why we chose them). When the technician came out that night he started looking for our leak, but then advised he did not have enough nitrogen to detect the leak that day. He then charged a 69$ service fee and advised us he would come back tomorrow between 12pm - 4pm to finish. This was very frustrating, I don't understand (A.) why you would come detect a leak without the proper supplies (B.) charge me to come out and not finish a task & (C.) why we were advised the company always came with fully stocked trucks. Friday (6/28) one of us stayed home (in the heat) from work to wait on the technician that stated he would be here between 12pm-4pm. We don't hear anything during that timeframe and call ourselves during that to verify the technician will be out. We were advised he would be out soon. HOWEVER, that was not the case. The technician did not show up until 7:30pm. Therefore, one of us stayed home from work and sat in the heat from 12pm - 7:30pm for no reason. Once he arrived, he did the leak detection and advised he would not be able to fix it until Tuesday 7/2 because they are busy and booked. They also charged an additional $380. He also advised it would cost about $950 to fix (which it did). I asked if there was anyway to get the work done sooner because we were mislead that they would provide fast service and get everything fixed asap when we called. . no-one mentioned anything about being booked. The technician stated no and said he would come on Tuesday around 8 or 9am. Sunday (6/30) I tried to call several times to confirm our appointment (because we never received anything confirming it), but we were unsuccessful getting anyone on the phone. Their website says they have convenient 24/7 service, however, that did not prove to be true. Each time I tried to call it rang for 5 minutes then hung up one me. Tuesday (7/2) 9:50 am (quoted 8 / 9amish). . no one is here to fix the a/c leak. At 9:55am we get a call from someone with the company that says "Hey, I saw you marked on our line, How can I help you?". We were confused and had to reexplain everything to this mysterious person. He said he would look into it. Later, he calls back and says our technician should be out to fix it today. AGAIN.... THIS IS A WORK DAY. One of us had to stay home. Around 2-2:15pm the technician finally shows up to fix the A/C leak. Side note 1: During the entire time I attempted to speak to a manager, but was unsuccessful. I called Friday night (once) , Monday (2x) , & Tuesday (2x) to try to speak with a manager. Each representative told me they would reach out to the Jacksonville location and have a manager call me back (I also asked the technician in person if he would please have a manager call me). Well, it is Monday 7/8 and I still never received a call from a manager. Side note 2: according to their website, it states they have an on time guarantee. It specifically states: "We're always on time, or you don't pay a DIME for our service". That is false, we mentioned that to the technician and over the phone to the call center representatives after our terrible service and both acted like that was something they never heard of. Highly unprofessional. The technician did knock off a few $100 from our bill for the leak detection that wasn't completed the first time, but the "on time guarantee" online was ignored. I never wanted the "don't pay a dime for our service" part. However, a SIMPLE APOLOGY, call back, and accountability from the company would've been nice.

They came out initially because my 13 year old unit broke and was completely out. They came the same day and honestly I didn't feel pressured. They offered to fix it but it would ha e taken 2 weeks to get the part from the manufacturer. I know it's TRUE because we called other companies. So they left and came back the next day to do a full quote on a new unit. We got some other quotes from a few companies before they came back and even though I found better offers they really seemed to know what they were talking about and had great warranties . The first price they gave us was outrageous but we told them we had other offers and they were willing to compete. They left and had the owner call me back with what he could do. Honestly it still was about 500 dollars more than the other company but they promised they would put it in writing that if we weren't satisfied they would give us our money back guaranteed.. so they got our business. They even came out the next business day and literally had to stay until 10pm because they started so late trying to get the unit for us asap because we had no ac. They were awesome! Glad we stuck with them.

Super professional, came out the same day, replaced the A/C with a new one the next day and replaced all the old ducting and added insulation that we didn’t have within two days. I never felt pressured to sign a contract as some of these reviews said. As a matter of fact we told him we needed to think about it and let him know and he said no problem, which we did later that day. The guys doing the insulation/ducting spent two 10 hour days up in that 100 degree plus attic and did a great job! Price was a bit higher than other estimates we got, but their speediness and professionalism we felt were worth it. They also replaced our first A/C years ago which we have never had issues with. Very happy all around.

They came out right away the 1st day and replaced the capacitor and the system worked that night. Cost was $288. The next day the system was blowing hot air again and they told me I needed a new thermostat. Cost was $379 for what would under $50 on Amazon. Would have done it myself except for a baby in a 90 degree house.

I called one hour bros for a repair...but these guys are what showed up. My system was old and needed to be replaced. They were here and could replace it the next day. It was kind of like buying a used car with the pricing... probably a little to high but I needed one. The installer came the next morning and put in the new unit. They put in the wrong circuit breaker that I had to later replace. The unit froze up a day or two later. When I called for assistance they didn't show up or call. Quick to sell, lousy to service.

One Hour NIGHTMARE! 11/15/2017 - A 1hr technician arrived to my house to clean my ducts. They informed me that due to the age and condition, they cannot be cleaned. This is a dishonest tactic and a lie. Turns out, they WILL NOT clean flex duct even if it is brand new. We opted to have our ducts replaced, a $7800 deal. 11/20/2017 - Crew arrives, late. They work 4 hours and say they ran out of material. Will be back at 0830 the next day. Salesman calls me a liar and accuses of trying to get free duct work when I have the conversation on home security of "Age and deterioration" being the reason they will not clean my ducts. Again, they flat out will not clean flex duct. 11/21/2017 - Crew arrives at 1000. Work 14 hours. At 2100 they tell me they are finished and will be back tomorrow. I was informed this is a 2 day job and I took unpaid days off from work already. I told them they can work until they are finished. At midnight, they informed me they ran out of materials and would need to reschedule. Air ducts connected to have air flow for holiday. Spoke to the owner, David Cox. Explain to him, upon my inspection, I see ducts not connected, not sealed, trash EVERYWHERE. Cigarette butts on ground, attic insulation tossed around, ducts laid over wires, Holes not sealed, UV Device not working properly, inside of house left a mess, violated contract by not using protective shoe covers or floor protection. 11/25/2017 - Expert team arrives. Informs me they need to remove all the previous work as it was done incorrectly and not to the engineers plans. Holes were left wide open, leaving air flowing into attic and hot garage air being pulled in from another hole. Employee steps through ceiling leaving a giant hole. Job is still unfinished as they don't have the duct material, other duct joints not sealed, vents installed incorrectly, ceiling damaged from larger vent holes being cut. UV Device still not working correctly. 11/28/2017 - Scheduled a 1900 appointment for another technician to come and (Hopefully) finish the job. Technician calls at 2000 saying "On the way" I explain my appointment was 1900. Tech says he was over scheduled by the company. I tell him not to come as he was already an hour late and just now "on the way" I call owner of company, David Cox. He explains the company had a scheduling conflict and overscheduled people. On a separate call, the main office says "Confirming you cancelled the techs appointment." I inform them the tech was already an hour late. I didn't cancel anything. He was late. Now I am again waiting to be rescheduled, while my HVAC system is incomplete and my home damaged. 11/29/2017 - Another employee of the company explains to me that 7pm was never meant to be set as an appointment by their front office staff and this was miscommunication on their end. It was meant to be an on call request. Schedule On Call service for 11/30 11/30/2017 - I asked to reschedule for 2100. Cannot leave work on time as it is EOM. I will lose my job. I used my last PTO day and an unpaid day back when this job was started and should have been finished. I am told 2100 is too late as there is 2-3 hours of work still needing completion. Still have not heard from the drywall contractor about fixing giant hole in ceiling. 11/30/2017 - Employee arrives at Noon. My wife is home to meet. Employee ensures management that everything I have seen has been fixed or completed, as well as stuff I didn't see. I go into attic and notice things that were discussed ARE NOT FINISHED! I call the manager and tell him. I am accused of pulling on the air duct, causing the mastic seal to break. However, I never pulled anything nor did anyone attempt to seal. Manager tells me "You need to find out what's wrong and you need to be present so you can tell us what to fix, not your wife" So much for being professionals. 12/3/2017 - I go into attic to look at everything so I can tell the "pros" what needs to be done. During this process, I find old vent boots and more trash. I also throw my back out and begin to have muscle spasms to the point I cant even walk. 12/4/2014 - Had to use sick day from work to visit doctor. 12/5/2017 - Rescheduled for 1900-2100. Still have not heard back from drywall person to fix big hole in my ceiling. Owner, David Cox, offers excuse after excuse. "This is construction, things happen" "Overscheduling" "Hard to work around your schedule" If the job was sold honestly and done right the first time, I wouldn't be writing this right now. Also, they advertise 24 hours of operation, they just leave out the "only if qualified personnel are available" part. Dishonest, Poor customer service, Poor workmanship, unprofessional, will take advantage of your lack of knowledge.

They replaced it and have had 3 major issues with it in 3 years. The last issue they said would take about a month to fix it. I called and emailed them daily and they didn't care. Finally after 10 days they got a part in to fix it. They acted like I should be greatful and thankful because I paid extra for their comfort club and all parts and labor are covered. *** terrible product.

It went real well, the technician was friendly and professional and did the service to my satisfaction. BUT, nothing is really "free"! When they come to service your air conditioning unit they try really hard to sell you stuff! Last time I purchased a lightening/surge protector which is probably a good item to have in Florida.I also purchased a fifty dollar yellow strip that is supposed to keep your drainage line clear ( and guaranteed for six months). I forgot that I had purchased the strip six months ago, it's only guaranteed for the six months. Anyway the technician cleaned my drainage line out for me and all kinds of gunk particles were sucked out using his vacuum cleaner. He gave me the sales pitch that I definitely needed to purchase this fifty dollar yellow strip to keep my line clean. Well, when he checked my drain pan inside of my house he saw the old strip laying in the pan! I was thinking if the yellow strip was so good why was all of this gunk coming out of the drain line? I'll just be careful to add bleach and/or vinegar down my drain line periodically. A lot cheaper! He also tried to sell me an add on capacitor that would prolong the life of the air conditioner's compressor. Right on the package paperwork it says for units five years old or older and my unit is only two years old. Of course per the technician the sooner the better for the install for ONLY about $350! I decided to pass on that, compressors normally last a long time. He said that the higher cost units already have this protection (?). Well, One Hour Air and Heating is a good company I think but remember that "free" doesn't always really mean "free". Be prepared to be given sales talks when they come to service your air conditioner!

He quoted me over $9000 for a 2200 sf house. The estimate didn't even itemize anything; just the price. I decided to go with another company, who did a wonderful job for $5500. Then, while I was going over my Credit Card bills, I notice a strange 'service charge'. I called and found out that the guy had signed me up for some warrantee on the system he never installed! I never get those 'warrantees'! I would never have signed up for that even if I had purchased the system! I guess he was mad I didn't choose him and signed me up out of spite. I work 14 hour days and hadn't gone over every charge on my credit cards and had been paying it for months! I don't trust these people. I would NEVER recommend them to anybody.

It was fine. I have a contract with them so I didn't have to pay for this one. They'll be doing one in February again. It was very good. They did a thorough job. They were here for over an hour. They have the average price that most of them charge.

I requested an estimate for a new Hvac system. Mr Keith came out to give me the estimate and he was very nice, however I never like to feel pressured into signing a contract and that's what happened. I signed the paper work to have two new units installed for $11,000. Before he left because it was an end of the year price. That was also to have two electro static filter systems installed. After he left it just didn't sit right with me so I called another company to come out for an estimate and they came out the next day. I got a better price from this company and they told me that he would never recommend the electo static filters for my house because of the pets I have I would have to change that filter about every week. I had no pressure to sign a contract with any of the other companies that came out for estimates and one company fixed my existing unit for $150.00 I'm hoping to get another one to two years before having to replace my units but I will not use this company when that time comes. I called and canceled the work because I had three days to cancel after signing the paper work and sure enough I received a call from Mr Keith shortly after which I expected to get. So if you don't want to feel pressured into making a purchase don't call One Hour Heating and Air.

I called at 10:30pm or an emergency A/C repair.  I was told that someone would be out that night.  By 6:30 am the next morning no one had come out and no one had called so I called the company.  The person who answered could not explain what had happened and said someone would call me back by 7:30 am to let me know what was going on.  At 8:00 am no one had called so I called the company and cancelled the appointment.  I then called the locally owned and operated company that normally handles my A/C repairs.

Arrived within an hour of our call on a Friday evening. Very courteous and professional. Found the problem within minutes and had it fixed shortly thereafter. He told us how to prevent the problem from coming back. Cost was very reasonable, especially considering the EXCELLENT service. I really can't think of how the experience could have gone any better. We got the kind of service you always hope for when you contact a repairman.
