Mrs [Member Name Removed], Again I am sorry but we cannot clean area rugs for free. We happily substituted the area it covered as it was dirty in are initial inspection with you. I have waived the minimum charge and offered to stop by when we were in the area to clean that section for the price of the area rug. We make sure to do a walk through with every client before and after the job requiring a signature. You were pleased with the pet treatment and how the carpet came out in your final inspection. As I explained to you on the phone the rugs require additional time and cleaner and cannot be done for free. You made your position clear that you wanted it for free or else. We cleaned and color sealed your floor only. We recommended the walls also needed to be done and you only wanted the floor to be done. The mold is present underneath the door and the surrounding wall. You have to run your exhaust fan for at least 15 min after you shower. you need to squeegee the excess water.Service Provider Response

Hello (Member name removed) I pulled up your file from a year ago. We did not just clean your carpets on that visit we had pet spots we treated and we applied protectant to the carpeting. Your total was 280.00 due to the pet treatments that we had to perform. A normal cleaning would of been $99.00 for the 3 rooms. I appreciate the compliment that we did a good job and I see your pet spots were resolved. [Member Name], I am sorry again your dog had an accident on the carpet. The protectant is a preventative measure yes to "AID" in repelling spills and soil from damaging the carpet. If the urine penetrates the fiber it can permanently stain the fiber yellow which is why the protectant is important. It does not prevent the smell because the urine beads off the fiber and goes into the padding and subfloor. You have to capture the urine before it penetrates into the padding, and this was all explained to you as you also signed off on understanding the protectant was for stain protection from the carpet and NOT prevention of any odors. The area in question most likely has been re-offended by your pet multiple times since the protectant was applied, this is based off what you had explained to me on the phone. If the urine was not removed promptly (each time) it can soak into the padding and wear away the protectant over multiple offences. In response to your accusations of me and my staff being discourteous to you. I would like to say that I wish people could have heard the way you started the conversation with us. You believe we were discourteous because we did not give you the solution you were looking for. You never allowed us one moment to talk to you. You said what you had to say and since it was not what you wanted as a solution, you hung up the phone. Further when you called our office you began the conversation with making threats against are business with regards to your dissatisfaction. During multiple attempts at trying to discuss and dialogue about your particular problem, you repeatedly interjected and did not allow us to talk. You never allowed us to respond to any of your concerns and all you said was were going to Angies List and other like forums complainng about us and our family-run business. I believe this a good forum for customers to explain their dissatisfaction on various service providers, but not when it is a one sided story. I offered to help you with a solution and the next steps, but you refused to listen or talk to me. You only continued to threaten me and my business with written complaints. I stand behind the work my company does and will do in the future.. Sir we applied the protectant almost 3 months ago. We followed industry standards. At the time you purchased the added service of us applying the protectant from future stains, you were advised of the precautions and disclosures of what the protectant will and will not do. You were advised to use baby wipes and Dawn hand foam soap ONLY if the animal re-offended the protected area.. When you called to tell me of the smell, you told me that you had used a host of other products on the carpet such as water and vinegar. These were not advised to be used on the protected carpet area. ANY liquids can carry the urine further into the padding and subfloor which leads to further contamination from the urine. Now that the carpet has been offended with urine you did not follow the proper protocol and procedure by using the Dawn hand foam and baby wipes ONLY. Instead you further aggrevated the situation by adding liquid that made the situation worse with regards to the urine smell in your carpet. Which as you were advised was not protected by the protection from our protectant. In the end, the situation is that now you need a proper urine extraction treatment since the urine has reached the pad and subfloor. this is something we are unable to do free of charge since it is not related to the protectant, the protectant only prevents the possibility of future stains on the carpet if the procedures are followed properly.. In your review you stated "Sealant would prevent urine stain" which is 100% correct but your complaint is regarding urine smell. Which is unrelated to the stain protectant. Sir I would be more than happy to assist you in getting the urine out of your carpet if you so choose. Based on your last comment to me on the phone I would also be very happy if you called any of my competitors to assist you in your urine extraction issue. Because ultimately I want to ensure that you have a safe, clean, and urine-free carpet which is a health hazard. Our sealer dries clear and will not do as your describing. Every call is important and is logged so missing a call is impossible. Unfortunately I believe this is another false review by another carpet cleaner. Why you keep placing these false reviews about me on yelp here and other places is truly disgusting. you hired me not your father. I met with you that morning and I cleaned the carpet for the advertised coupon price. The carpet was covered in coffee spills which you explained your fathers illness and is prone to spilling. I explained before I began any work that to attempt to remove coffee from the carpet would require special treatment which you promptly stopped me and stated I only want the coupon price. You told me do the best you can for the coupon price. You had your father write me a check and you left. The carpet came out great except for the coffee spills. You called me 2 days later stating you were going to cancel the check if I did not come back and remove every one of the coffee stains for free. I explained to you that you declined the treatment and canceling a check is theft of service. You threatened with a yelp review going on how you were a super yelper and I had better come do what you want. The carpets were filled with tide, urine, juice and milk from a home machine. DCF had stepped in due to the condition of the home and were going to remove the children. You flew in to help your son and we dropped everything that day to come and assist you. We helped remove 2 garbage bags of filthy diapers and clothes just from behind the tv. The children had been left unattended and smeared things all down the walls. The carpet had significant damage due to the spills sitting for a prolonged period of time and the home machine flooding the carpet. I apologize for coughing but when we were spraying the room it reactivated the rotten milk and juice. You were so happy when DCF cleared the home and your son was able to keep the children. I explained we had other people booked and could not move them.
