It took a while (weeks) to get them here, partly due to trying to coordinate with Progress Energy on which branches were whose to remove. But the morning they came, it was just a couple of hours and off to the dump. By meeting them at the St Pete brush site, I was able to get the tree dumped for free. They didn't have a dolly to carry off the tree slices, but they used mine and it worked just fine. Paul called ahead the morning of work to make sure I had the driveway clear for their big brush carrying truck. The whole crew was friendly and polite. I will call them again next time I need tree services.

They were very quick. The price was right and the pick up was great.

Nick was able to identify all of the trees and bushes. He knew the desirable species from the invasive ones. He pointed out the numerous and invasive cherry laurel trees that needed to come out. As we discussed the areas where I would like to open up the yard versus areas with shade and privacy, he knew exactly what I meant. I did not have to provide details for every single tree or bush to be removed. I was able to trust Nick's judegement regarding what to remove, and I was not disappointed.

Nick did not nickel and dime me on cost - he gave me a specific price and then removed whatever I asked.

The crew was polite and on time - a pleasure to work with. Clean up afterward was excellent.

I am very pleased with the Job they did and would highly recommend them. I will be asking the to return to repeat the process in the next 18 months.

We're in the process of buying a home, and noticed Paul's truck at a neighbor's house when we were staring the home inspection. We called his office to see if he could come by and look at two large oak trees in the yard and got a call back about 10 minutes later telling us that he was still in the area and would be able to come by and do free consultation for us.

Paul was there a few minutes later and was very thorough and professional, even though he'd been ready to go home for the day when we called. He took the time to point out some areas for concern and give us tips for upkeep, and even showed us some trees in a neighbor's yard that might cause damage to the house over time. He set our minds at ease, and we'll definitely be hiring him to handle the tree work if we do move forward with the house.

I can't speak to pricing or actual service, but Tree Dragon Tree Service was prompt, thorough, professional, and very knowledgeable even when we were not contracted to work with them. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

The estimate was extremely thorough. They walked around the trees for about an hour, and they gave us a few suggestions to keep our trees healthy. They are also certified arborists, and this was really important to us.

When Paul came out for the estimate, I was impressed he spent the time to show me problem areas and explain why they were problem areas. Other companies leave an estimate on the door and don't explain anything. He is very professional - an arborist as well - and knew what he was talking about. They arrived as scheduled and performed the work in 2 days. They do not use a truck, but climbed up into the trees and examined them up close. They cleaned the yard better than it was to start with. Whatever they moved, they put back. When I asked about billing, he said he would return in a week to make sure I was totally satisfied before taking any money. Also, his prices are better than other companies I have used.
