NU SHINE BATHROOM & KITCHEN REFINISHING

These people were very pleasant to deal with right from the initial phone call. Bob, the tech, who re-finished the tub was very expereinced and has been doing this type of work a long time. He was very neat, covered everything and left no mess behind.
He applied a non-slip bottom to the tub at my request at an additional cost. He matched the original color perfectly .The tub looks amazing, better than it did 10 years ago when it was new.

Bob will remove the old chrome drain if possible so it can be re-finished under it. Some of the really old tubs it might be difficult or impossible to remove it. I bought a tool to see if it could be removed ahead of the re-finish in case he could not get it out and then I would call a plumber ahead of time to get it removed.

For some reason, one little corner of the tub keeps getting messed up. They have been so patient and they have come out twice to fix that little area at no charge to us. I think it is a problem with the tub, they have done their part to fix it. They have been very responsive and dedicated to making us happy. The rest of the tub looks beautiful.

They were efficient and their work was good. They came and finished the work within the specified time. It was in a rental property where the tenants had gone for that day. I was not there when they came but they were professional over the phone.

I tried multiple companies, but none wanted to complete the work. Nu Shine agreed to do the work and did an amazing job. They were able to match the color of the shower pan to the tile. The worker was here form about 9:30-1:30. We talked about putting on a non-slick surface, which he did a beautiful job with. He was constantly working, never took a break. I am so pleased with the work that they did.

They work came out very nice. They were on time and on budget.

They did a very good job. They were very price competitive, and they matched another price I had. They were very timely, very professional, and very clean. They did 6 windows, a sliding glass door, and a regular door with glass panels. Our windows are very big, and they were very efficient and thorough. When they come in the house they have protection on their shoes. They picked up after themselves. I expressed concern that I have a dog that would scratch the film on the window, and they added a clear hurricane strength film at the bottom of the sliding glass door to protect the underlying film, and added it at no charge. They also explained maintenance and cleaning procedures.

The bottom of the tub is not at all uniformly coated. One end is thick; you can actually see a defined "flow" to the material. This is not really a problem, though. What concerns me is two other spots on the opposite end of the floor. One spot is very thinly coated and the other is a rough patch of excess accumulated texture material, both spots about the size of a golf ball. At first I thought there was rust or some stain showing through, creating a spot. But that ended up being just dirt that continuously catches on those two spots. I felt embarrassed that I'd called the company for "spots" when it turned out to be just dirt that didn't come off with ordinary cleaning. But, I figured that the workmanship was inferior and they should have a look. But when James called he proceeded to argue with me and threaten me, I told him to forget about coming out at all. I explained the above, but he just kept harping about time and gas and if he comes out and "acetone" takes care of it I would have to pay (it was a nonsense argument, since there were no stains for acetone to address and I told him this) ultimately, my perception was that he was really rather mean and meant to intimidate and I didn't want to have him in my home for any reason. When I need the tub done again, I will not call NuShine. Worse than the issue of a sub-par job (in my opinion) is the way I was treated.

The work was done on time and in the estimated span, I arrived at work, at the time I had told them to expect me. James worked steadily and neatly. There was very little air disruption as he vented the spray out the back door. He cleaned up everything and let me go in and look at the tub before he sealed up the room prior to leaving. I am very happy with the work and will recommend the company to friends.

From the initial estimates to completion of the work, everything went exceptionally well at both locations. They arrived on time for the estimate and the estimate was based on actual window measurements. They did not "pad" the measurements by one or two inches each window as I found that others did and their per square foot price is very reasonable. Robert and Bryan arrived on time, to the minute. They started immediately, did an excellent job of cleaning and prepping the windows and a very professional job of installing the hurricane film and applying the silicone film lock. They cleaned as they went and left the house as clean as when they started. My mother and I are very impressed with Robert and Bryan and would highly recommend NuShine.

They called the evening prior to the morning scheduled for the work and then they called before they arrived and said they were on the way. They took their shoes off while in our home and started work without delay. They completed the work applying the solar film for our windows in less than 2 hours. They cleaned up all their debris and provided a detailed bill and warranty for their work. My only complaint, and I mean ONLY, is that they broke one of the wall supports for our window blind - which they told me they did - but did not offer to replace it or pay for my cost to replace it.

Excellent!! From showing up on time for the estimate to doing the job on schedule, this company performed 100%. We are very satisfied with the results and would highly recommend this company.

He said he would come back and repair the dripping, but I neglected to call him about that, but he was nice guy.

They did a fantastic job. They were prompt and he just did a great job!

He knew just what he was doing and even gave me tips on cleaning/keeping the soap scum off the tiles. He was on time and reasonably priced. It looks like I had a new tub installed but without the mess or expense. It a great alternative.

Jackie from Nu Shine completed the work for us. He was able to match the color of the sink and tub to the other fixtures. He was very detailed oriented and made sure the sink and tub came out looking brand new. He spent a lot of time taping so there would be no over-spray. He did an excellent job. Not to mention, he was very pleasant to work with.

JACKIE FROM NUSHINE SPENT AN ENTIRE DAY WORKING TO REFINISH AN OLD TUB IN A RENTAL PROPERTY. THE TUB WAS ALSO WEDGED RIGHT NEXT TO THE TOILET SO IT WAS DIFFICULT TO REFINISH THE ONE SIDE. HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THE TUB LOOKED BRAND NEW AND THE PRIOR CONDITION, YOU WOULD NEVER EVEN WANT TO STAND IN THE TUB! HE REALLY DID AN AMAZING JOB FOR A RELATIVELY LOW PRICE.

GARY HAS DONE ALL THE WORK IN MY HOME AND I AM TOTALLY SATISFIED. IVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO SEVERAL PEOPLE. THEY ARE EASY TO WORK WITH AND VERY CUSTOMER-FRIENDLY. GARY HAS DONE EXTREMELY GOOD WORK.

THE ENTIRE JOB TOOK PLACE OVER 4 DAYS. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME EACH DAY. THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT, BUT PROFESSIONAL. THEY MADE A STRONG POINT THAT IF THERE WERE ANY PROBLEMS, WE WERE TO CALL THEM IMMEDIATELY. THE RESULTS WERE BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS. THIS IS A FANTASTIC ALTERNATIVE TO REPLACING BATHROOM FIXTURES AND CABINETRY.

I AM SO GLAD I HAD THIS DONE,IT WAS CHEAPER THAN HAVING ALL NEW CABINETS PUT IN AND IT LOOKS GREAT!
