We began using Jeff and Carol to manage our property in 2012 when we moved out of state. They continually found good tenants for us and whenever there may have been an issue with the house they were quick to contact us and asked us what we wanted to do. If repairs were needed they were very good at getting the work done quickly and for a good price. When we decided to sell it was an easy choice to have them manage the upgrades on the property and put it up for sale for us. Because we were out of state, we relied on their advice regarding what should be upgraded and what items we could leave as is. They were very helpful finding all the contractors to do the work to upgrade the inside and outside of the property. Once it went on the market it sold immediately. We are very pleased and thankful for all the work that they did for us on this property to get it sold quickly. They are very professional and detail oriented, and a great pleasure to work with. We would use them again in a heartbeat!

I have been a loyal owner for over five years, and I used to love Carol and Jeff. But within the last year they both decided to check out and haven't been available for any issues that arise. As an owner I shouldn't have to chase a property manager. Their service used to be great but they aren't around anymore. When I gave proper notice to cancel my management agreement they fired me and left me with horrible remnants. I found a new broker to care for my house but I strongly recommend staying away from this company.

We cannot say enough about Carol and Jeff. Like most people we tried to manage our rental property by ourselves. That was a BiG mistake. We thought it would be easy but soon found out it wasn't as easy as we thought. We contacted Carol and Jeff, and Jeff came to our home and explained what they did and how they did it and he was very thorough and explained everything in detail. We hired them on the spot. It has been 3 years now that they have been managing our property, and we couldn't have made a better choice. We have great tenants, and we know our property is well taken care of. For the fee they charge, which in reality, isn't that much, our peace of mind is well worth it! They take care of everything. If something major in the home needs to be repaired or replaced they contact us as soon as possible. They are very professional, and they truly care about their clients. I would highly recommend them to everyone I know who may be wanting to rent their home (and I have many times) and have heard nothing but great things! They take pride in what they do, and it shows!

The lady who was signed to me never did find a tenant. I ultimately ended up selling the property.
Beware of property manager's contracts. You can end up signing over the right to sell if you're not careful.

After being a homeowner, and now back in the rental market for the last 7.5 years, I can say without a doubt they have the best, most attentive, friendliest and efficient property managers to deal with. Would deal with them again for sure!!

It was great having an expert handle everything. Jeff managed the "face of the franchise", while Carol handled all the communications. A very efficient duo! There were some complications with our tenants, which on two occasions required me as the property owner to make a decision on how to proceed. Both times, the Benton team laid out options, made a recommendation, and executed the decision promptly.Since we're using them again, I thought - I should check them out on Angie's List! Even though they are listed, there are no member reviews. I'm correcting that oversight right now.Fellow Angie's List members, if you've got property that needs managing, you should do what we have done and let Jeff and Carol Benton at The Property Manager, Inc. take care of it.
