Mr.Olson is one of a kind. I spoke with him about my washing machine issue, he told me he does not deal with my brand of washer but he came and gave it a shot to see if he can fix it anyway. He could not fix it.He suggested I call the manufacturer. He did not charge me a penny. He is very courteous, ask me if I want him to wear a mask and oblige when I said I would appreciate it, I am a high risk individual. Thank you Mr.Olson for being such a great person. Very much appreciated.

Ken determined the problem quickly and fixed it.

Mr. Olson fixed our ice maker and our dryer. I didn't even think the dryer could be fixed. He arrived quickly and did a great job.

Side by side refrigerator.  Freezer working, refrigerator compartment not cooling.  Person provided service on short notice, quickly identified the problem and made repairs.  Very professional, knowledgeable and courteous.  The best I have dealt with in his line of business.

 Mr. Olson of Olson Appliance Svc arrived and we discussed the microwave oven problem.  After evaluation, he advised that the main board was out and that the replacement part would cost just about as much as a new unit. He said he would gladly repair it but that I should think about it and consider just buying a new one.  He said he was not able to help me with the installation as that was a bit beyond his physical ability.  We agreed that I would contact him if I needed the repair.  I asked about the bill and he said it could wait until I decided on the repair or replacement.

In passing, I pointed out a problem with our trash compactor.  Mr. Olson fixed it.

We have been able to use the microwave though it is limping along.  I have not made a decision because my lovely wife wants to rebuild/redecorate the kitchen around the new microwave.  Had it not been for this evaluation reminder, I would have not recalled that we still owe Mr. Olson for his trouble call visit.

I would gladly recommend Mr. Olson and will be calling him for any appliance repairs in our home.

I called yesterday, he called back and said he could come today.  He called today and said he would be here around 10:00 a.m. and he was here 2 minutes early!  He isolated the problem, got the parts from his truck, and got the dispenser to work within 20 minutes total time.  It was great, efficient, almost too easy!

Items in my frostless freezer were icing up badly (GE fridge model PTS25LBMARCC). I told Tim my evaporator fan needed replacement (noisy and gets stuck) . Tim replaced the evaporator fan. Problem: Items in my freezer are still icing up. Tim came back and tightened the waterline to the ice maker. Problem: Items in the feezer are still icing up (not as bad but, bad enough). I think one or more thermostats should have been replaced when the evaporator fan was replaced (GE recommended). Maybe the seal is not working properly (maybe due to improper leveling). Maybe the defrost cycle is not working properly (a little too warm, too long). Maybe the control board is bad. I told Tim, Sears never leveled it properly. I don't think Tim checked the leveling.
I told Tim I had a problem with my GE washer (agitate speed control knob not working). Tim said he won't work on that model.
I think $179.00 is a bit high to replace an evaporator fan. I expected the service call fee to be applied to the labor charge as other techs have done in the past. Tim does not work that way. That was a surprise!
Tim is a very nice guy, prompt and professional. He is a little lax in taking the extra time to service my fridge (leveling, check rear coil - vacuum if needed, check thermostat operation, control board operation etc.).
I may call Tim again to come out and find the problem with my frostless freezer icing up or..., I may call a factory authorized GE tech.

owes wMy microwave died on me and Tim came by the same day I called to look at the microwave. He tested the micro and figured it would be cost effective to buy a new one. I bought a returned microwave at Lowes which did not work out. I had to get one that was in the box my wife said(tried to save a buck). Tim was very patient with me and my wife. I ordered a new one an Tim put it in. Thanks Tim for your patience.

It went very well! He was prompt and able to come out right away to fix the problem.

He came over within 30 mins. of being called, and was able to make a temporary repair until the exact part was available. He had the part the very next day, and the refrigerator has worked perfectly since. As the refrigerator stopped working on a Sunday, it was a HUGE relief to have if back up and working by Monday afternoon. (Especially as my Mom is elderly and has health issues.) I will definitely call him for any future appliance issues.

He completed the job in an hour , which most of the time was melting the block of ice around the coils. He replaced the heater and cleaned up completely.
I am having him do some additional repairs and replacements on other appliances.
I rate this service provider as an A+

Tech was very professional and experienced. He identified repairs that we didn't know were needed in addition to those requested. Before doing any repairs,he informed me of what repair work was needed and related costs prior to beginning work.

Showed up at the appointed time. Diagnosed the problem and made a temporary repair to restore service. Ordered the correct replacement relay and returned to install it when the new part arrived.
