It went well. The tub looks fantastic again. They said it takes 3 hours and he was in and out in about 3 hours. Came back to finish up on Saturday by removing all the paper and tape and caulk the tub. Very professional and well done job. Would recommend this done before ever replacing the tub.

Randy arrived on time, was professional with a great sense of humor. He explained the process and completed the procedure almost exactly to the time that was proposed. His work is exceptional.

The job is just beautiful. When the work was done it went well and complete. They had to return 2x s to fix a run and re- spray one towel bar. You have to be very patient with this company. It does take a long time for them to return. You may have to call again. It just seems like the office has a problem setting up service and forgets to set-up a call. They were always polite and never questioned my request..When an appointment was made they where there and on time. You may have to ask for use and care directions of the product.. But after it is said and done,it is worth it. I will have them return for work on another bathroom.

Way back in the day, we purchased a 1959 house. It had a very pink bathtub. After a few years, we couldn't take the "pink" anymore and had it coated white by a competitor of the company being reviewed. We didn't know much about bathtub coatings at the time so we just found someone in the phone book. Big mistake. The finished product was poorly done, had drips, and didn't hold up. Over the years, it just got more dull and started to flake and peel. It was a mess and we thought there might not be any solution other than gutting the bathroom and replacing the tub. .....but then we found TOTAL KOATINGS on Angie's List. The reviews looked positive and we were encouraged by the fact that they would be able to remove the peeling, flaking remains of the prior coating and replace it with a more durable coating. We researched the "Kott Koating" that they use and were happy to find that it chemically bonds to the tub surface to create a porcelain like finish and doesn't just lay on top like a coat of paint (like the previous job we had done). We certainly felt, that for the price, it was worth a try. So we called to schedule an appointment. Initially there was a little scheduling snafu. However, it was quickly remedied and re-scheduled within the week. The Total Koatings representative arrived as scheduled, and went right to work. It was a yeoman's job to remove all that nasty old coating off the tub, but after 3-4 hours he had it off and sanded smooth, and ready to re-coat. (Also, in spite of all that scraping and sanding, he kept that bathroom tidy and clean!) He masked and taped off the tilework and surrounding area, set up a ventilation hose to the outside to reduce fumes, and got to work on the actual re-coating. The re-coating step was the quickest part of the process. After he finished, he cleaned up all the masking paper and tape, and re-swept the floor. Our Total Koatings rep (who was very nice, extremely hardworking and professional) told us how to care for the finish easily with Dawn dishwashing liquid (no bleach or harsh chemicals which will etch and harm most porcelain finishes). The finished bathtub is beautiful, crisp, bright white, and super shiny! We are delighted! We've only had the new tub finish for a few months, so it's early to say how it will hold up over the long haul. However, Just looking at the Total Koating finish we can see this product actually looks like we bought a new tub with a porcelain finish. It also feels like porcelain glaze (the previous coating just felt and looked like glossy white paint...with drips!). We would be very surprised if the finish doesn't hold up very well. We would highly recommend Total Koatings to anyone looking to update their bathroom colors or re-do their bathtub (even tubs that are flaking and peeling from previously botched jobs by other companies). It is a great way to get a fresh new tub without an expensive remodel!

They came back twice and I would actually recommend them to anybody. They did a good job and they were courteous.

There was an issue with a few minor blemishes that I had to point out. They had to return on 2 occasions to fix them. If the coating holds up over time it will be a good deal. Time will tell. The technician was pleasant.

One flaw noticed after sevice. Fixed at no extra charge within two weeks. Excellent results!

Randy is awesome. Our sink looks brand new and beautiful. No drips, no runs, no errors!! This is the second job he has done for us. We had two really ugly green 1970 sinks and one green tub coated two years ago. It is now a rich creme color and is as good today as the day he did the work. We were not in town when he did the work, but he kept us informed and emailed pictures of the finished project even before we got home. He is reliable, neat, and shows up on time! I highly recommend Total Koatings.

Total Koatings is great and Randy, the owner and professional is awesome. This is the second time we have used Total Koatings and our kitchen sink looks like new! Two years ago, Randy recoated a very 1970 green tub and two sinks. They are now a rich creme color and look like new and are as good as they were when first recoated. Randy is neat, leaves no drip, no runs, or errors. He tapes all hardware, cabinetry and there is no overspray. I highly recommend Total Koatings for a job well done!

Randy was here on time, for the quote, the work and the finish. He worked with us to get the perfect color match and completed the work on time and in a very professional manner. The odor was tough to handle as the glase set for three days, but his suggestion of white vinegar to cut the odor worked fairly well. The tub came out perfect.
