He was here within an hour and a half after I called and it took him about half an hour to replace the springs. He also tightened all bolts, oiled the hinges and wheels. Now I can barely notice when it operates. Cost for two springs was $260.

Mr. Voss was prompt and clearly explained that the motor mounts and chain also needed replaced. He offered a competitive price and was able to perform all the work immediately. He did so--replaced remotes, keypad, and motor housing- and then patiently and clearly explained how they all work. We are very pleased with his work ethic and honesty.

I contacted Tim Voss after reading his very strong reviews here on Angie's List. I called him a day after having another company come in to give our garage door an inspection 'tune-up' in which the contractor told me I needed to replace several components. Since we weren't having any major problems with the door, I needed a second—and third—opinion to know if we really needed to put all that money into the garage door. Of the other two garage companies I contacted, Tim Voss was the most direct and transparent about garage parts and prices. Mr. Voss came to evaluate the garage. He is very professional, pleasant to deal with and clearly knows his business very well. As I suspected, the garage door didn't need that much work. Mr. Voss answered my many questions with clarity and respect. He repaired what needed to be repaired, and he cleaned up afterwards. My husband and I feel very good knowing that the garage is in great shape now, and that it didn't cost a small fortune for this peace of mind. As a home-owner on a budget, I am very happy to now have Tim Voss as my go-to for anything related to the garage door. Enthusiastic recommendation!

I'd like to highly recommend Tim Voss from Tim Voss Garage Door Service. He just installed a new garage door opener (that we had purchased ourselves) in our 2 car bay and repaired the opener in our 1 car bay. He inspected, lubricated and adjusted everything and also made a couple of minor repairs (replaced a cable and the weather-stripping). He did an excellent job and we are completely satisfied!”

He was really really good and knows his stuff. I was very pleased with him too. Go use him! He was quick and fast. He is not the cheapest guy in town, but he knows what he is doing and get everything done and makes your life alot easier.

Called Tim for recommendations for strengthening our garage door after the Hurricane Irma scare. He installed some support struts, new longstem rollers, and new torsion springs to accommodate the heavier weight. Adjusted everything. Now the garage door is one less thing to worry about when the next hurricane approaches. Tim gets the job done right.

Tim was very knowledgable about the door and mounting style. He not only fixed the loose brace but made a couple other stabilizing adjustments as well as overall check and maintenance. I didn't consider his prices 'cheep' but they were reasonable based on other professional work I've had done. I would not hesitate to use him again or to recommended him.

He did a great job for me. The guy was there on time. He told me exactly what it was going to cost me. He got the job done quickly and efficiently. It was a very good experience. On price, I don't know what the other companies charge, so I could not really give a grade on that.

This repair was done in a very professional manner. Tim explained the repair as he preformed the service. I was quoted a price before work started and that was the price at the end of the repair. Top notch service at a very reasonable price. I would use again if needed.

It was a simple fix, which Tim could have done in 5 minutes and then left. However, since he was here, he checked both garage doors, serviced them, and left an hour later. Tim is very personable, efficient, and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend him!
