The salesperson was rude, offensive, arrogant, and condescending. He made no attempt to uncover our needs and preferences; and, further, ignored all our attempts to communicate those needs and preferences to him. Instead, he told us what we should want (translation: what he wanted to sell us) and literally insulted my wife when she had the temerity to suggest that she might want something else-- lecturing her on physiology (without taking the time or making the effort to discover that her background as a healthcare professional means she could undoubtedly have taught him a great deal about physiology). He actually went so far as to say that if we wouldn't do what he wanted us to do, he would refuse to sell us bicycles. His refusal turns out to be unnecessary, since we found another bicycle shop with an excellent, highly professional salesperson--who sold us two bicycles that are perfect matches for our needs.
Description of Work: We visited this shop in order to purchase two $500-700 bicycles, and were prepared to close the deal on the spot. The salesperson made it impossible for us to do so.
