Kitchen Design

Art, the owner, came to our house and gave us an estimate to remove the vanity in each of our three bathrooms (4 vanities in total), including the existing mirrors and light fixtures, and replace them with new ones. We also asked for him to build wood shelves in the closet in the master bath. We were very impressed with his professionalism and his no-nonsense approach. We called him back to do measurements and make a decision on cabinet color. We gave him an installation date that fit within our life activities. While we waited for the installation, we went and bought the faucets, light fixtures,mirrors and worked with Art's granite vendor company to pick the counter-tops. Art was our main point of contact throughout the process. He even intervened when the granite company gave us the wrong information, and found us a comparable counter-top at a better price . All monies passed directly to Art, and he made sure his partners were paid accordingly.
When installation time came, Art had our cabinets ready. He came with four other men and they worked all day. He even stayed behind to continue while his men went for lunch. During the rip out and installation of the cabinets, they worked very cleanly, always vacuuming up after themselves. At the end of the first day, the new cabinet shells for all the vanities were installed. The new mirrors, light fixtures, and closet shelves were also installed. The next day, the granite people came to template the counter-tops.
The following week, the granite people came back and installed the counter-tops and the sinks. The day after, Art came back with one of his men and finished the work, installing all the doors and side panels. The faucets were installed too.
In the end, we are very pleased with Art and Kitchen Design. Their workmanship was impressive and even though it took a little longer to complete the project, it was well worth the wait. I would definitely work with him again and wish I had done so when we redid our kitchen.

Art visited us in late October 2014; listened to our upgrade plans, and made several good suggestions to amplify the upgrade appearance.  We signed the contract on 10/22 and Art ordered the door and drawer panels, trim molding, and matching laminate.  Since he noted the foil laminate as received did not match as well as he felt it could, he reordered higher quality wood laminate at no additional charge that perfectly matched the solid wood raised maple panels.  He returned on 12/17 and all panels and workmanship was performed to top notch perfection.  We are both very pleased with Art's work in every respect and would highly recommend him for any type of kitchen upgrade needs.

, The cabinets took about 4 weeks to arrive and within 4 days Art did the installation. I was very nervous about the cabinets because Art was matching other cabinets in the kitchen. Well I can tell you I am very happy with the cabinets and Art's installation and workmanship. He even helped me by fixing a dresser drawer I was having a problem with.  He has been very easy to work with and I will be happy to recommend him to anyone.

My husband and I are sitting in our den staring at the stunning floor to ceiling cherry cabinet that Art Naguibine, the master craftsman and owner of Kitchen Design hand crafted and installed just yesterday.  When we first met with Art we shared our idea of a large cabinet to run along one wall of our den with plenty of open shelves for books and a flat screen TV, but also some cabinets and drawers.  Art listened, made some great suggestions such as adding center cabinets with glass fronts so we could work the TV components, and within a day had a drawing and estimate back to us.  We loved his concept, his pricing was reasonable and he was willing to work with the specific timing we had for installation.  We love the cabinet.  Art is a true artist, very professional and easy to work with.  We highly recommend him.

Art listened to our needs, measured our space and translated the information into a workable design. We signed a contract with Art on August 11, 2014, with an install date of approximately 3 weeks; time may be adjusted due to the cabinet door delivery; Art builds the cabinet boxes and subcontracts the doors. He installed the cabinets on September 19th, 2014.

Overall, the quality of cabinet workmanship is good and the price reasonable. However, the shelf supports are set too far back due to door hinge placement. As I was stocking the cabinet, cans of soup fell off the shelf and on me. Additionally, the cabinet paint is not holding up well in certain areas, particularly where there is heat, and there were a few issues with the installation that cannot be resolved once the granite was installed.

Beautiful outcome. Very impressive work ethic. Would not hesitate to recommend him.

Art was very professional and accommodating from start to finish.  He had the work completed and ready to install when he said he would.  This was a nice surprise considering the other contractors we were dealing with, who often required Art to delay or reschedule his installs.  No problem though, as Art made several additional trips to make sure his work was completed by him and to his standards.  Art is affordable but his work is exceptional and exceed our expectations.  Again, this was a bright spot in all the work we had done at our home.  For our bath vanities, we described what we wanted (which was a bit different from the norm) and he was creative enough to really capture what we were looking for.  Great job and we would definitely recommend Kitchen Design!

I have not experienced such professionalism, from any other service contractor I have engaged, as that provided by Art Naguibine, the owner of Design Kitchen. He just completed for me the design, construction and installation of a new contemporary style bar. He was always on time, ahead of schedule and completed the work to my total satisfaction. He's an artisan who has the technical skills to help you realize your dream project.

Kitchen Design built a fantastic kitchen island for us in November, 2013 (see my previous review), so there was no question that Art would be building the desk/bookcase/office/planning center in our kitchen.  I had some specific wants and needs, and Art and I got together and planned and measured.  The end result is a beautiful and extremely functional planning center.  He genuinely cares about his customers and what they want.  Art is professional, personable, and punctual.  He always responds to phone calls or emails quickly.  I feel sure that you can't beat the quality of his work or his price.  I have thoroughly enjoyed working with him on these 2 projects and regret that I don't need anything else built.

I am so proud and love my home and in part that has to do with Kitchen Designs. My kitchen is absolutely beautiful. I will most likely use them again. Very efficient in time, cost and quality.

Art did such a nice job, I am very happy. I feel he went out of his way to make things happen smoothly, timely, and professionally, from quote to finished product. What a huge change it made in the kitchen! Art really listened to what I had in mind and steered me in the right direction as far as color combination. I relied on him as the expert and listened to his thoughts and ideas. We worked around each other's schedules and I think we both came out happy, I know I did!! We moved into a brand new home in June 2013.  We wanted a kitchen island that was larger and had a different configuration than what the builder offered, but the builder would only provide us with their ?standard? island. 
We contacted several kitchen cabinet makers (some were uninterested because the job was too small, and some never returned our call).   Art of Kitchen Design returned our call in a few minutes, met us that evening, and had an estimate a few hours
later. 
Art is great to work with.  He is personable, professional, and provided us with references.  (They were also very happy with his work.)  He was responsive to phone calls and emails-always getting back to us very quickly. 
His price was unbeatable.  He had the difficult task of matching the stain color of the existing cabinets to the island, and he was diligent about getting the color exactly right.
Most importantly, the kitchen island looks fantastic and is exactly what we wanted.   We are extremely pleased with Art?s work and will be using him to build a desk and book case wall unit in our kitchen/dining area. 

I wouldn't hesitate not only to use him again for my own home/office but to recommend him to others.  I am an interior designer that just moved here.  I was accustomed to working with my cabinetmaker of 13 years.  This was a terrific installation.

I would recommend Kitchen Designs' services to anyone looking for great craftsmanship and honest estimate! I hired Kitchen Design to design and build my kitchen. The result was exactly what I was hoping I would get and even better. Art the owner walked me through every step of the build and made me feel very comfortable about the whole remodeling experience! The custom cabinets that were built from "the best stuff on earth" were very sturdy fit really well in the space. Overall I would give Kitchen Design an "A+" rating and would hire them again! 

I contracted Kitchen Design to design and install a custom solid wood kitchen, with granite countertops, for my Bradenton home.  Art (the owner) personally managed the project from measurements, to design, to installation.  The result is a great looking, high end kitchen, that anyone who has seen (neighbors/friends), are extremely impressed. 
Because Kitchen Design did such a good job on the kitchen, I also hired them to install hardwood floors, new crown molding, and new
skirting boards throughout my entire home. Art is such a perfectionist/craftsman that the result is flawless.
I will definitely hire Kitchen Design again in the future,and have already recommended Kitchen Design?s services to friends and family.  I have attached a few pictures of their final product here for anyone interested.
