Description of Work: Gulf Gate Rescreening was recommended to us by another company which does very good work in Sarasota. I called to make an appointment in March or April and they never showed up nor did they call.. I called back to find out why. They apologized and set another appointment. They never showed up. No phone call. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, so I chalked it up to the busy Sarasota season and called them again in October. Again we set an appointment and again they didn't show up. No phone call. I can't vouch for their work when they do show up, but this has been a world of frustration for me and I called the vendor who recommended them to tell them Gulf Gate Rescreening is unreliable. there's just no reason to bother with firms who treat their customers so shabbily.

 + -1 moreRom and his crew used 2 days to complete our cage rescreening. They are very professional, hard-working, and attentive to all our requests I have waited a few months to complete this report because I wanted to test the job and see whether it held up to some of the winds and intense summer heat in this part of Fla. I couldn't be happier! The type of screen which Rom recommended has held up extremely well and all panels are just as taut as the day they were installed. I'll definitely call Gulf Gate again if I need any other screening work accomplished. I've already mentioned his fine work to several neighbors who have admired his workmanship.
Description of Work: Complete rescreening of caged area surrounding our Lanai. In addition, several anchor screws in the base were rusted. Those which could be removed were replaced; others were completely rusted or couldn't be removed - new holes were drilled and new screws installed. In addition, Gulf Gate cut new L-angled aluminum cover pieces which were installed over the base pieces and gave it a neat professional look.

 + -1 moreRom was very courteous and prompt. He provided an estimate and when the work was completed, everything that was needing to be done, was completed in a very professional manner. We even have 3-4 ft hedges close to the outside of the cage and they were able to rescreen the lower areas without issue or damage to the hedge (believe me, not an easy task). I would whole heartedly recommend this firm for any rescreening project, if fact, I already told my neighbor.

They re-screened my front porch and added a whole new design. It was done very well, nicely and professionally. It just looks good. I highly recommend them.  + -1 moreRom was very personable, professional and competent. He and his crew are very hard workers, the were punctual, cleaned up well after finishing the work. My cage is very high and they had to replace screens on the very top as well as the high and low sides (not something a handy man can do). They had great equipment and did an outstanding job.

They also included two door repair kits with cylinders latches and sweeps. the entrance was installed using the smaller mess screen to keep the small bugs out. The crew worked quietly and completed the work in one and a half days. I would highly recommend them for any re-screening or new installations-
