Called this company and they came out to give us a quote promptly; the gal who came - Keri - was extremely knowledgeable and did a good job of explaining to us what the project would entail, what it would cost, and what the possible areas of additional cost might be, depending on how the demolition went. We had gotten two other quotes. We decided to go with Chimney Cricket, called their office and asked for Keri. Left a message....let three with none returned. Spoke to Renee in the main office that we wanted to proceed ahead with the quote. Gave her a credit card # for the deposit. Heard nothing further...hoped that they would show up on the agreed upon date.....which they did! On time, very professional, with Keri there to oversee. They did a wonderful job...very neat, very professional. When the job was 95% done, we hit a snag and things stopped briefly. When Keri said that she could schedule someone to come out in 4 days time to finish it up, this was unacceptable to us as we were leaving for a week's trip..and we told her we were not happy that the project was not 100% done. She came out to our home that very afternoon (on a Saturday) to finish it up and did not charge us for some additional costs that were incurred by them...the final cost was exactly as quoted. We would like to use this company again for another project....Keri and Bob have studied our needs. We are now waiting for our quote......this is the part where I worry that things will not happen!

I waited 1 week after my initial meeting and never received an estimate. So, on 1/13/2016, I called the company and advised the girl (Renee) on the phone of my problem. She told me that their server had been down for about a week and it was possible that my estimate got lost in that debacle. She took my number and email address and also told me that they didn't have my email address and perhaps that's why the estimate didn't get sent.
One week later, I still didn't have an estimate. So, on 1/20/2016, I called again and talked with Renee. Again, she told me that their server had been down for about a week, but she would contact the technician and find out what happened to my estimate.
I called again today (1/22/2016). There was no answer so I left a voice mail advising them that I never received my estimate. I said that I was guessing that they didn't want the job and that was fine, however, it would have been much more professional if they had contacted me and just told me that. However, If this is the way they conducted business that I didn't want to hire them anyway because I would be afraid that if I hired them, they just may not show up. So I told them that I would write a review in Angie's List of what happened to me. I left my name and numbers should they want to contact me.

Went well.  They put sheets over furniture and floor to keep soot from getting onto the furniture and floor.

Responded timely to all communications, called prior to arrival and completed work well quickly, including a flashing repair that was recommended.

They were awesome, friendly and thorough.

Brian was very courteous and professional. He explained what he was going to do and then got right to it. He provided a summary of what he did and the condition of the roof vent. He did a very thorough job cleaning up and placed the dryer back in position. I was very pleased and plan to use this service from this provider as needed.
