Our mission at Harrell & Beverly is to provide the highest standards of professional, honest and dependable automotive service and repair; specializing in transmissions and advanced electronic diagnostics. We want you to have the best customer service you have ever received. When Harrell & Beverly opened up in Sanford, FL in 1959 a gallon of gas cost just 25 cents, Alaska and Hawaii became the 49th and 50th states respectively, Frank Sinatra was singing his way to the top of the charts. Since that time some things have changed, like the cost of gas. Some things haven’t changed; Alaska and Hawaii are still part of the Union and Frank Sinatra still sounds good. And some things have gotten better with time, like the honest, dependable and professional service you can only get at Harrell & Beverly. As vehicles have changed over the years, so has Harrell & Beverly. From the downfall of big gas guzzlers, to the rise of front wheel drive transmissions, to the introduction of electronic computer controls; Harrell & Beverly has been there each step of the way. Present day vehicles have such sophisticated computerized systems that require technicians to be half computer scientist and half mechanic. The technicians at Harrell & Beverly routinely attend training classes to stay updated with the ever changing automotive service and repair industry.

"Our family business has been at the same location since 1959 and is still family owned and operated. Our mission is to provide the highest standards of professional, honest, and dependable automotive service and repair. We specialize in transmissions and advanced electronic diagnostics. We always appreciate hearing feedback from our customers. Being in business for almost 55 years now we have received a lot of positive feedback and on rare occasion, negative feedback. When we do, we take it to heart and make necessary positive changes in our operation. The AC issues noted by the customer were present when the vehicle arrived to our shop and was acknowledged to the customer multiple times throughout our entire process. It was also conveyed in writing on the final invoice. While the vehicle was at our shop, the customer didn’t make any objections to our notes. The repair work that we did had no interaction with the AC system and would not have caused the noted AC issues. The AC system appeared to be in a default setting indicating a possible issue with a control module for the AC system but further testing and repairs would have been required to verify and correct. We offered to recheck our work and restated that the AC issues were present upon receiving the vehicle. When the vehicle was brought back for us to recheck it, there were false accusations made towards us. At that point the situation deteriorated and the customer left. Lastly, the customer states that her son “does not have a car now.” At the conclusion of the repair work by Harrell & Beverly (some eight months ago) the vehicle was drivable. It is unknown why the vehicle would not be drivable now unless some other factor(s) that we don’t know about have occurred.
