Ace promptly returned our call, and set a time come and look at our garage. They arrived promptly, and listened as I explained what we needed. Unfortunately, they only do drywall, and could not add sheets of plywood in our attic as we needed. We set a date for them to repair the ceiling, but later found a company that could do everything for us, so I had to cancel with Ace.
I know they have done work for our neighbors, and wish we could have used them for our project.

Michael & Bridgett and their crew did a great job. We called them on a Friday to discuss replacing a section of ceiling that had been badly damaged by a water leak. They provided a quote on the phone based on our description of what needed to be done. They showed up as scheduled bright & early on Monday morning. They did wonderful work, very professional & exacting, and very fast -- now you cannot even tell there was ever anything wrong where they put the patch. They were all pleasant & polite & cleaned the area well before leaving. We will definitely use them again & will highly recommend them to others.

We were unware that our living room window was leaking until we realized there was water on the floor. We fixed the window leak, but the wall below the window was badly damaged. Bridget and her crew showed up as promised replaced the drywall and ensured there was a seamless transition between the existing wall and the new drywall. The entire crew was professional, efficient and courteous. They took great care and precautions to protect our wood floor and left everything clean and dust free.

I called Ace Custom Drywall for an estimate to install drywall. I was booked an appointment a week out for a several hour window timeframe. When Mike and Bridget came to our home they spent 45 minutes measuring, asking questions, and told us there were a couple things that needed to be prepared prior to hanging the drywall but said it looked good and they would email me the quote in the next day or two. The following morning I received an email stating they were too busy to do my job and were not going to provide an estimate. Mike and Bridget could have and should have told me long before that they were too busy to do my job. They also refused to provide an estimate that we could use to compare prices among other businesses. They wasted half of our day waiting around for them. I would definitely not hire these people.

"Customer called our company on a Thursday wanting an estimate. I informed him that we run our estimates on Saturday's and that the route was already full, however we could put him on the following Saturday's route. He abruptly hung up. Next week on a Thursday same customer called acting like he was on our route for that Saturday, saying someone was holding him a spot. I knew that was not true as I personally take all incoming calls and do all the scheduling. However we did accommodate the customer and put him on the route as we had a reschedule from another customer. I realized once taking his information that this was the same customer from the week before that had rudely hung up on me. I informed customer of time and let him know that we would need a 30 minute window as some estimates take longer than others, however we showed up 20 minutes early to his estimate. Which of course was not mentioned in his report. Also both times customer called, I personally took the phone call which I would say is very responsive. The member informed me that he fired the general contractor he had hired. After looking at the quality workmanship that the previous GC performed, I did not feel comfortable with this member. I had a bad vibe from the get go. It took 15 min's to do the take off , and 20 minutes to inspect and show member some detail that needed to be done for drywall install which was free :) After I told customer I was not interested and that we only submit bids on jobs we are willing to perform. He said he would report on our company. If I do not feel comfortable with a member I will not go there. We have the right to pick and choose just as the consumer does who they hire. If you look at our 248 reports you will see we only get bad grades on jobs we do not do. We are high spirited, and love working in a friendly environment."

I had no idea what a big job this was until I saw them prepare and then carry out the complete job, so the original quote sounded a little high. However, during the next 2 days, I realized theirs was a totally fair quote for the work involved. They delivered the nicest paint ready rooms I've ever been left with. I was also very very pleased to learn they could remove and re-install the old recessed lighting fixtures and the bath vent fans as part of the work. At $50 each fixture for labor it was a deal, since they had to remove ceiling wallboard and repair it as part of each installation. It was one heck of a lot of work they did and it looked really fantastic afterwards. What seemed like extra expense when I decided to try their service ended up being well worth it when I started painting. I could not have been happier. They came with a great crew, they were careful around the house, they had a great attitude at all times and were a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them!

We are very happy with Bridget, Mike and team. They were professional from the first time we contacted them. They gave us a clear concise estimate and followed through beyond our expectations. I couldnt be happier with the results. Our old house likes like new construction. Thumbs up to the whole team. They are pro's at what they do and I would highly recommend them to anyone I know.

After 2 quotes (i changed the original requirement) they came out and completed the work in a very timely manner. In by 830 out by 2PM. That was everything including cleanup, some advisement, and evaluation for some future work. This team is awesome!
We had started the removing our popcorn ceilings and after two weekends of insane mess, we decided to call in the professionals. We contacted Ace and 2 others, Ace was the only team that responded promptly and regularly. The came out and gave us a quote that weekend. Of course as I mulled over the possible solutions to my issue of an unfinished ceiling and walls that had been neglected since construction of the house in '79, we changed our minds on the final implementation at least 10 times.
We finally contacted Ace again to revamp the intended application and they gladly came out (a second time for free) and gave us a new quote. We finally settled on a date and they were ready to go. They came out and got to work immediately. Once they were done they cleaned up the mess and were on there way. We love the new ceilings and the walls look better than they have in years!!
We will most certainly have them back to finish the remaining rooms and accomplish some additional work in the kitchen!

Outstanding service from beginning to end. Fast response to phone calls and emails. Polite, friendly, prompt, respectful of pets and property. Job was completed on time. Worked quickly with team of 4. Quality work. Cleaned up site really well after completing work. They originally quoted $325,but there was a problem with a wood beam and they had to replace it. I approved a small upcharge for the additional work and they were in and out in 2 1/2 hours. They came prepared and ready to work. They left the area spotless. The work was excellent.The previous quote I got from Paul's was almost double and he said it would take 2 days. This crew didn't even need 1/2 a day. I was delighted to have had such great luck with these professional people and loved the job they did. Ihave already asked them to do more work and highly recommend them.

Great company to do business with...highly recommend! Finished product looked fantastic! It was apparent from the first call (which was returned in a timely manner) that Mike and Bridget (owners) really care about customer service. Work product is ciritical, but equally important are all aspects of dealng with the homeowner. They got it right! I asked that a medicine cabinet be removed during the texturing process. Cabinet got damaged in the process. The way they responded to the problem was first class. Took ownership of the issue, and, paid for, and replaced with new. Other companies could certainly take lessons from Mike and Bridget!

Bridget and Mike called with estimated time of arrival on each day of work. They were very professional in manner and work, putting up plastic all around. We had emptied our garage into a storage container, but my husband had shoulder surgery so we were unable to move a standing weight machine, they even did that for us. They came back the second day to complete the job to our satisfaction, cleaned up and washed the floor. Instructed us as to having a painter come to patch, caulk and use exterior paint on the garage ceiling. They also scraped, retaped and put orange peel on our front porch ceiling. Will definitely call them again!

They were very courteous and professional. They took the time to explain things to me if I had questions. I thought the price was very good. They worked hard, were punctual, and left the place very clean. Did a great job on the walls and ceiling. I had taken down wallpaper which caused surface drywall damage and there was damage to the walls that had been hidden by the wallpaper. There were places where the drywall had been repaired and did not match in thickness. They did a beautiful job "skimming" and doing whatever else needed to be done so that it was all continuous, without seems or imperfections and then applied a nice orange peel texture. The orange peel was nicely applied, not overdone at all. The walls look great. On the ceiling, they removed popcorn and replaced it with knockdown. I am actually blown away by how FANTASTIC the ceiling looks. Just seem like very nice people and I would definitely call them again if I need this kind of work done in the future. They did a great job.

I called this company and phone was answered by Briget, one of the owners. She set up a time for herself and her husband, Mike, to come and give me an estimate. Because I did not know whether I wanted removal of the popcorn ceiling or just a repair, they gave me an estimate for both. Both were very reasonable estimates for the work involved. They warned me that if I decided to do repairs, they could not guarantee that the colors would match exactly because my ceiling is 20 years old. I decided to take my chances. Three people ( the owners + one) worked in my house for approximately 6 hours. There is NO evidence of repair. It looks as good as new. Further, they cleaned up EVERYTHING! I did not expect it to look so good because I was warned about the possibility of the colors not blending well. I will recommend them to anyone who needs the work they do. They were super to work with from start to finish!

I called for an estimate, they came out on Saturday as scheduled and were very pleasant. They had an estimate to me by the end of the day. As we had another estimate, this one was very fair. They scheduled the work for the next day (Monday) and were here promptly. They set about the work, covering everything with plastic and working very carefully. They removed the heavy tile ceiling, did the repairs and put up the new ceiling. It does not look like anyone was working there. The arch is perfect. That went smoothly even though we have an old house and nothing is plumb or the same dimensions. My wife said they even mopped to floor when they were done. They were exactly what I would expect of an A rated Angie's List company. Absolutely outstanding!

We needed to have somebody come in and cover 12 holes in our walls that were created by our plubmers. Ace custom drywall came in, covered the floors in plastic, and did a great job fixing the holes. the covered them with drywall and textured with the same texture that was on the wall.. you can not even tell the holes were their. We are very happy with the work, and will use them again for 2 more projects up and coming in the house....

They did a fantastic job! Ceiling spackle needed to me matched to original which they did perfectly. Highly recommend and will be using them again in the future.
