At Time Insulation all we do is insulation, so we are able to offer you a top quality job with very competitive pricing. Our office is located in St. Petersburg, giving us quick access to all parts of the Tampa Bay area. We will go further for large projects. Prompt response and good, thorough job. Received an additional $100 discount from TECO. My inspection of the work showed they did a good job and thoroughly covered all the attic with more a bit insulation than the R-11 ordered.

Time Insulation sales rep came first to check out my attic insulation situation. He was exactly on time at 9am and he was very professional. He inspected the attic and gave his opinion that it needed additional insulation to bring it to the R-30 level that I wanted it to be. He said I could call the office to setup the appt or he could call and I let him call to set it up. Two days later, the installers were here, the office had called 20 mins before as I had requested and the guys installed more than enough insulation, they were great. They were careful of my home, furnishings, carpeting and cleaned up when they were leaving.

When I called to get an estimate, they did explain that there was a $150 min charge to do the work, & that cost was based on sq footage to be completed, which is normal for the industry. They asked for my location & when I told them, they said that a tech lived in my area, & would come by that afternoon. When he arrived, he recommended the Fiberglas instead of the cellulose because we had existing Fiberglas & that it wasn't good to mix the two. We knew that the converted room needed the insulation because there was none there, but he did recommend the bathrooms because it had been trampled a little when getting into the attic for various reasons. He didn't try to get us to do the whole attic. He quoted $150 including material & labor. When the guys came to do the work, it took them longer to get set up (unrolling the hose & putting the insulation into the machine) than it did to perform the work. They were finished in a flash & were very neat in cleaning up. I would recommend them.

Was informed of appointment and they showed up promptly. The technicians were polite and clean. There was some over spray in insulation that I noticed in the attic vents. The company offered to send someone out but I declined and used a blower to clear it myself. The tech's should have seen this before they left.

ORIGINAL ESTIMATOR WAS INEXPERIENCED AND IT WAS NOT A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. THE SECOND ESTIMATOR WAS GOOD AND THE INSTALLATION WAS SIMPLE.

THE WORKMEN WHO CAME OUT TO THE HOUSE WERE VERY EFFICIENT, ABLE TO ANSWER ALL MY QUESTIONS, APPEARED AT THE SCHEDULED TIME, WORKED QUICKLY AND CLEANED UP WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED. THE OFFICE STAFF WERE ALWAYS VERY POLITE OVER THE PHONE; HOWEVER THE ORDER WAS CONTINUOUSLY MESSED UP. THE APPOINTMENT HAD TO BE RESCHEDULED BECAUSE THE PAPERWORK WAS INCORRECT AND EVEN AFTER THE INSULATION WAS INSTALLED THE PAPERWORK WAS STILL INCORRECT AND THE WORKMEN HAD TO CALL THE OFFICE AGAIN TO STRAIGHTEN EVERYTHING OUT. I THINK THERE WERE 5 PHONE CALLS MADE FROM ME TO THEM TO GET THE PAPERWORK STRAIGHT, 2 OR 3 CALLS FROM THEIR OFFICE TO PROGRESS ENERGY, ANOTHER 4 CALLS FROM TIME INSULATION TO ME, AND ANOTHER CALL FROM THE WORKMAN TO THE OFFICE TO REFIGURE PAYMENT. IT WAS NOT A DIFFICULT SITUATION, ONLY THAT THE GIRL IN THE OFFICE COULD NOT RELAY WHAT WE DISCUSSED INTO THE PAYMENT FORM.
