Description of Work: I purchased an Angie List groupon for cleaning and repair of roof and all they did was blow the roof off. They said they would not do the repair on the roof because it would cost them 120.00 the cost of the goupon. NEVER WILL USE ANGIE OR THIS VENDOR AGAIN

Description of Work: They came out and did a through evaluation on our roof which gave my husband peace of mind to wait another year before replacing our roof. Their prices were quite reasonable and the sales person was very low pressure and understood we only wanted the evaluation at this time.

Description of Work: Wayne came to the house to complete the on-site inspection for an estimate... and Kim was good to deal with on the phone; however, out of (4) estimates I received, Roof Masters was 2nd highest... with (2) estimates being 15% - 20%(+) less.

Description of Work: I purchased a roof maintenance package from Roof Masters Preferred on July 18. The response I received informed me that the provider would contact me by July 22 to set up an appointment. After multiple attempts to contact them, I received an email saying they would call me. It never happened.

Description of Work: I ordered a "Big Deal" roof maintenance service package. I called requesting an appointment for the service and never received a call back. Then I emailed suggesting a date for service. The email I got back was that someone would be in touch. A couple of days went by. No one got in touch. I emailed again and the response I got back was that I needed to be patient. I waited several more days and have still heard nothing. I would like my money back.

Description of Work: In regards to my experience with Roof Masters: First call Once I paid, my initial contact with Roof Masters was by Wayne, who called and left me a message to call him back. I did, and he told me to call the office as he was "on the roof". Second call I called the office for an appointment. I believe I called a cell phone; there was background noise as if the receptionist (Kimberlei) was outside and not in an office setting. Kimberlei was on her way in and asked me to call back. I did not call back for a couple of days. Third call I called and scheduled service for a Saturday 10 am (I was ensured that this would be the first service call of the day). I did not receive any confirmation call prior to service date; I called the morning of service to confirm and find out that she mistakenly scheduled me for the following Saturday as I was told she wasn't sure what Saturday we scheduled. No phone call to let me know or ask me first. I did not and could not accept that appointment as that day was not good for me. I told her I would call to reschedule. Fourth call - I called to reschedule for a Friday morning, the first day of my vacation. I was told 10 am- again promised to be the first service call of the day. Fifth call I did not receive a confirmation call prior to appointment so I called 8:30 am to make sure they were coming. She told me that Wayne would not be there until 11:00 am. I reminded her that I was on vacation and was waiting for this service call to leave. I asked her to have Wayne call me if he could not make it by 11:00 a.m. Sixth call Wayne called me that day to tell me that he would not be there until noon. I asked for an honest answer from him regarding time of service call as I was waiting on him to leave for a vacation. He was honest and told me that he had two more service calls before me and could not guarantee that he would be there by noon. I was told I would be the first service call of the day. Clearly this wasn't the case and it interrupted our vacation plans and we still didn't get the work done. I told him this was not acceptable and that I would call back to reschedule. Seventh thru eleventh call My husband called them back later that day to reschedule. Kimberlei did not pick up the phone. My husband called back Monday, they did not pick up phone; he called back a second time and left a voicemail. My husband called back on Wednesday, they did not pick up phone. Twelve call I immediately called from my number and Kimberlei picked up. I told her my husband was trying to reach them to reschedule. She told me that she does not pick up the phone if she does not recognize the number. She also told me that she would call him back and give him Wayne's number so that they could coordinate directly. She also told me she would call later as she was at the doctor's with her daughter. She also told me things were so crazy because Wayne's wife was having surgery? Their personal business is simply none of my business. I have been trying to schedule service since March. (It is now May). No huge complaints, but I simply do not want to work with this company. They seem unprofessional and unorganized to my standards.

Description of Work: Perhaps my expectations were unrealistic but this visit was certainly not worth the money. I was under the impression that something was involved in roof maintainance which was how the offer was described. The gentleman looked at the roof and said nothing needed immediate attention. He seemed reluctant to give me an estimate for the flat roof which will need to be replaced within a year. There was no follow-up on the part of the company. I basically paid a great deal of money for the same service I received for free when I asked other Angie's List roof contractors to come and give me an estimate.

Description of Work: I took advantage of the special to have the roof openings sealed for $159.00 Squirrels had eaten my lead boots top part and they replaced four of them for $300 I had previously gotten estimate for $650.00 They were very helpful and suggested I put hardware cloth over the lead boots to keep squirrels out and they put them on for no charge. I would use them again. No doubt.

Description of Work: Reroofed main house with GAF Timberline shingles and flat roof area of house with Flintlastic modified torch down system. Coordinated with air conditioning contractor to disconnect, remove, replace and reconnect air conditioner installed on the flat roof.

Description of Work: Roof Masters totally replaced the roof on a complicated (multiple valleys & gables, plus a flat addition) of the 1946 house we are rehabbing in St.Pete, FL They had to remove the asphalt shingle layer AND a wood shake shingle layer held up by narrow strips of wood, AND install all new plywood. The shake layer was an unwelcome surprise, and they handled it beautifully...charged us only a bit more for the additional labor, and gave us a break on the 49+ sheets of plywood. They also play by the rules: had the city inspector over immediately to direct what could legally be done. Kim, their manager, was personable, helpful, and on top of all details. They provided a better grade of new shingles than we thought they would, given the price. They provide a step-by-step photo CD of all of the work and stages...even sending them via email, if necessary. We were in MN during all this, and they had no prior access to the attic to inspect the roof decking before they began the job, so the fact that the shake layer was not discovered before day one is understandable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Good people, highly skilled, very responsive, very fair pricing.
