Didn't go at all, I never heard back from them.

I called the provider for an estimate on some work. The provider showed up on time with an assistant, and walked the property collecting information from me regarding my needs: Three hose bibs and one minor sink leak. He said he would contact me by telephone in a day or two with an estimate. A week went by and I did not hear form him. I called his number and left a message with my contact information asking that he complete the estimate. No response. Another week went by and I e-mailed him through his Angie's List contact e-mail. Again no response. I don't mind that he may have chosen not to take this job for some reason, but I cannot support poor the customer service indicated by not communicating with me. I have wasted a good deal of time waiting and will now have to find someone else.

Jay is wonderful. He arrives on time, gets the work done quickly, is reasonable in his fees, and does a great job. I will always call him first for plumbing work.

We called this morning regarding a problem with our toilet in the 2nd bathroom. Jay arrived promptly, diagnosed the issue and went to work. He was in and out within 45 minutes, left the area clean and we are very happy with his work and professionalism. We would highly recommend J & J Plumbing of Tampa Bay.

Jay is absolutely the perfect plumber. We have used him many times. He is prompt, extremely profession, and does a great, high quality job, at fair prices. He puts me in mind of the good, old fashioned plumber... nothing like the big companies with impersonal service. My dog even likes Jay. We have another appointment schedule in a week for some additional work. I HIGHLY recommend J&J Plumbing.

1. Efficient diagnostics to be sure what the problem was - internal corrosion had finally ruined the tank . 2. Removed the old tank - no mess or damage inside unit or along access stairways. 3. Installed and tested new tank efficiently, cleaned-up, no damage inside or out, all systems go. 4. We've used Jay for a number of maintenance and replacement projects in our unit. We recommend him enthusiastically.

I was really pleased with the entire experience. I have no concerns at all about the quality of his work. He was methodical, careful, and clearly knew what he was doing. We really liked doing business with them. They give great service at a reasonable price. The owner is the one that came out to do the work and he was very friendly.

My 92 year old relative had problems with ice cube maker - Jay was on time and completed the repairs promptly and explained what had caused the problem - Competent, professional and reasonable - would recommend him to everyone

Jay was great. He was professional and courteous.

We had installed a new dishwasher which leaked all over when the installer was here.However, it flooded again the next day, The installer came out again and he said he had done the installation correctly and the problem was a part of our plumbing system so it was up to us. Im called JnJ who rushed out within the hour because we had flooded once again. He found the problem to be our old hot water cionnector and fixed it. More importantly my kitchen faucets leak to the point we always have mildew in the sink and I can't find any polished brass ones to replace them. JNJ looked around for parts for the 20 year old faucets and told me he couldn't find them so he at least turned off the hot water valve to stop that faucet that was always linking. Hooray! No more mildew in the sink.He also showed us how turn on and off that faucet at will. This is a problem I have been trying to solve for ten years.so I am grateful.

I like them a lot. He's honest and reliable. We will add him to our list of skilled contractors that we would call again.

jay showed up 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment, very personable, very professional, took a look at my problem to make sure the disposal was the problem and not the the seals. it was the disposal, he installed a new one, cleaned up under the sink, and made sue the new one was working properly. very happy with work, would definitely use again for any plumbing work.

Was told that he would be here between 11 - Noon, arrived at 11:30. He worked for 2 1/2 hours to clear my drain. Was extremely reasonable with the cost. It drains better now than it has in years. And as an added bonus, all my drains are working so much better.$

We hired J&J Plumbing to install a water softener as part of a kitchen remodel. The job was done on time on schedule and Jay went out of his way to fix some other things that needed to be attended to as well.

Jay arrived on time, got right to work, removed the forty year old valves under the sinks, installed new ones, and did it all in short order. I had decided to install the faucets on my own, but had to call him for help later that day. He made time for me in his busy schedule, made another trip to my house, and installed the faucets. One of my new vanity tops was too heavy for me to pick up, so he had to install the vanity top as well. I consider him a lifesaver. He is professional, personable, and on time. I intend recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber.

Jay came out on an emergency call after hours to snake our sewer drain. We have some inherent problems with our sewer system and occasionally we need to clear the lines. Jay is always courteous and professional, even when on a call late in the evening or on a weekend. I think dedicated, honest plumbers who care about their clients are a rare breed, and it is a thankless job. I appreciate Jay's dedication to customer satisfaction, and his service is always above and beyond what would generally be expected. Personally, he's a good family man, and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for good old fashioned high quality, 'real' customer service.

He’s great and I really like him. He comes quickly and gets things done. He doesn’t charge too much.

Good. He is coming back to haul awy the water softener and I am also hiring him to do some other work for me as soon as his schedule clears up. I did not meet him but my son said he was very nice and efficient.

We have used him before for various things, he is very good, very efficient, knowledgeable, but a little expensive. He is reputable and good, we kind of bit the bullet on the expense a little bit. But he is expensive. Jay himself comes and he is fine

Very happy with this company. I had just moved into a new house and had some concerns regarding items listed on the inspection report. Jay came over and explained what needed to be done and why. He gave me a firm estimate and returned the following week to do the job. Everything turned out great and I will definitely use this company again.

I either had no water or intermittently. I called several companies and J & J could come to the house that same morning. Initially J & J and other plumbing companies I called thought the problem was in the water softener. I like the logical process that J&J used to determine exactly where the problem was and they way he communicated what he was doing. There was water to the meter and no water at the point of entry into the house. We had to replace the line from the meter to the house. Although J&J did not install the new line, they did find a way to circumvent the problem and put me in touch with someone who could come out the next day, Saturday. I would definitely use them again.

I contacted J& J Plumbing on January 22, 2013 to obtain an estimate to repair a slow running faucet in the kitchen, and cost to install a bathroom sink in the vanity. Since I did not receive a response by noon the next day,I called the office again. The answering service assured me the information had been forwarded. However, to date (1/25/2013) I have not received a reply from J&J Plumbing.
