Turned out to be a loose wire, so no cost for a new switch. Did a full service, including belts, bags and filters. Parts are not cheap, so the labor was not excessive. Folks are very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended.

Bill and his staff always seem to go the extra mile. We are looking for a new vacuum and he explained the differences. Although we have not bought one yet , they did provide us with the right bags and a hard to find hepa filter for the old one.

The job required modifications to adapt the machine to the only replacement part available. Bill did a beautiful job and was done before the day was out. He and his other employees were very friendly and approachable people. The business is nearby and easily accessible and has with parking. The price was amazingly low, probably due to his expertise leading to quick work. Note: it did not include the cost of the part which I found through an on-line search of vintage parts. It is rare that any company in the repair business accepts parts from the client because this prevents them from having additional profit from the markup of parts. To my way of thinking, that is testimony to Bill's primary objective which is obviously customer service.

Marie was helpful and knowledgable. She quickly diagnosed the problems after a few questions and
then when I expected her to say, leave it and i'll call you when it is ready, she instead said, let us see if we can fix this now
20 minutes later and some interesting personal stories my Hoover wind tunnel was deodorized, tested and ready to go!

My home warranty company sent Bill out to my house when my central vac decided to turn on out of the blue without me using it. Bill was nice, did quite a bit of troubleshooting and ultimately decided to take the unit to his shop to repair it there. Apparently, the painters accidentally hit a wire connection which caused the unit to run. Bill not only put new connectors on the older unit, he cleaned some paint overspray off the lid as well. Great service and experience.

Bill just charges for the belt and puts it on for you. Something most other vacuum stores charge $14.95 to do. Always have had great service.

Timely work, good communication

Owner did repairs and I picked the vaccuum up in 4 days including the weekend. Charged practically nothing and accepted the Angies List 10% off coupon. Great experience.
