My birthday was yesterday, the 17th....when I should have recieved the flowers. At 6:30 am.....that's AM.....today, September 18,2013, we recieved a phone call....followed by the doorbell ringing. There was a strange man standing at our front door saying he had a floral delivery.....at SIX THIRTY IN THE MORNING !! We told him to leave the flowers outside. We do not open our door to a stranger.....at 6:30 in the morning !! I waited until about 9 am and called Andrew's. I spoke with a woman named Blanca who said she was the owner. I told her what happened, and she said she'd look into it and call me back. When Blanca called back about 45 min later, she told me the "story". Apparently, the flowers were delivered yesterday to a "neighbor" who thought she was accepting them for someone she knew. Unfortunately, they were not delivered to any of my neighbors.....they were delivered to someone in "another area" of East Lake Woodlands. At 4:30 this morning, the person who delivered the flowers to the wrong address received a call sayimg he needed to come pick up the flowers, cuz the people were leaving for work, and they realized they never should have accepted the flowers in the first place....and didn't want them staying in their house all day. So, this delivery person went to pick up the flowers.....and then came to our house at 6:30 am. When Blanca called back to tell me what happened, it was all the person's fault who accepted the flowers in the first place. She accepted absolutely NO responsibility for the flowers going to the wrong address.......and never said "I'm sorry" for any of this happening. There was NO offer of any type of reembursement for my friend, and when I asked her about that, she said they would need to come pick up the flowers !! I could not believe my ears !! No apology......no acceptance of responsibility.....no offer of any kind for the mistake that was made. It was clearly the delivery man's fault for delivering them to the wrong address.....and, therefore, Blanca's fault as the owner of the flower shop. When someone pays to have flowers delivered on a specific date, that's when the flowers should be delivered (barring any natural disasters). I hope people read this review and DO NOT use Andrew's for any reason !!

ON MONDAY, JULY 8TH, IN THE EARLY AFTERNOON THERE WAS A KNOCK ON MY DOOR. WHEN I OPENED - I FACED A BEAUTIFUL BOUQUET OF WHITE AND YELLOW DASIES IN A YELLOW OPAQUE VASE MY FRIENDS HAD ORDERED FOR MY 83RD BIRTHDAY. I HAD AN EVENING AND A DAY TO ENJOY THEM SINCE THIS MORNING, WEDNESDAY, VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING I FOUND THAT ALMOST HALF OF THEM WERE DEAD DUE TO LACK OF WATER. I ADDED WATER AND FELT SORRY FOR MYSELF AND THEN WAITED UNTIL I THOUGHT THE STORE WAS OPEN TO CALL. A MAN WHO I ASSUME WAS MR. ANDREW ANSWERED AND I TOLD HIM THAT I WAS A "SOMEWHAT UNHAPPY CUSTOMER" SINCE MY FLOWERS DIED SO QUICKLY DUE TO LACK OF WATER. AT THAT POINT HE LOUDLY PROCLAIMED "IT MUST HAVE BEEN THE DELIVERY GUY WHO SPILLED IT ETC. ETC." . WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO INTERRUPT HIM BY ASKING "LISTEN TO ME" HE YELLED BACK AT ME "I WON'T LISTWEN TO YOU SINCE YOU DON'T LISTEN TO MY EXPLANATION." HE FINALLY HAD TO TAKE A BREATH AT WHICH POINT I WAS ABLE TO SAY "WHY DON'T YOU PUT 'CHECK WATER LEVEL UPON RECEIPT' IN THE SPACE PROVIDED FOR CARE INSTRUCTIONS. I FURTHER STATED THAT I WOULD MAKE SURE MY FRIENDS WOULD NEVER USE HIM AGAIN TO WHICH HE REPLIED THAT THAT WAS JUST FINE WITH HIM. I THEN WENT TO REARRANGE THE FLOWERS ONLY TO FIND THAT - EVEN IF THE VASE WAS HALF FULL OF WATER - THE FLOWERS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO REACH IT SINCE THE STEMS WERE NOT LONG ENOUGH.
