Two months ago I had a technician (Jon) from  Brevard Cooling and Heating come to my house to investigate a problem with my central air unit. I had my thermostat set to 68 degrees and the temperature wasn't falling below 82 degrees. Jon checked everything out and performed a leek detection test which reveled a small leak. He repaired the leak and filled the unit up with coolant. The refrigerant is a bit pricey at somewhere around $30 to $40 a pound . My unit holds 11 lbs. and was almost empty. (My house is a 3 bedroom rancher 2000 sq ft home). I had a coupon I had gotten out of my local paper for free refrigerant. The coupon actually turned out to be good only for one pound of the refrigerant so I ended up paying a good hunk of money for the coolant. The leak test cost about $40 dollars. I think this service should have been for free as part of the diagnostic because all he did was run a "refrigerant detector" around the inside of the unit. Anyway, to sum it up, Jon got everything working and I paid about $350.00.

The unit was not cooling the house again. I contacted Brevard Cooling and Heating about the problem and they sent someone rite out. This technician checked the unit and found that the coolant level had fallen again so he added coolant to make sure my A/C worked tonight and is returning tomorrow to perform another leak check. I am not being charged for this service. I did not have to argue with them that I had already paid for the service once and I did not have to say anything. The technician came rite out and said that this was overlooked during the last visit and I would not be charged again to have the job done right.
The reason I gave them such a good rating is because I was there both times that the unit was worked on. The technicians were very knowledgeable and professional and I am convinced  that the problem was not overlooked due to carelessness. It was an honest mistake and now they are making it right without making me feel uncomfortable about it.

Arrived within 3 hrs of me calling them. Service man knew exactly what he was doing. I am very pleased with the job that was done. Will definitly use them again if needed.

They are the best in the business. The 2 installers were the neatest and most excellent workers I've ever had. Whenever you call they're right on the spot  they're right there to help you to do the things that you need to have done. They're just very professional. No gimmicks, no games, no, "Oh we're coming to come and do your air conditioning and service it. Oh by the way you need, this, that and another thing." None of that kind of stuff. Which is vry typical for down here. I just thought they were a very good company.

Showed up as scheduled, removed and replaced one unit per day. There were a few punch list items I noticed but before I could check it all out they called and said that one of the units was 16 seer and I paid for 18 and as soon as the correct unit came in they would schedule the replacement, at this time I indicated there were 3 or 4 items, cosmetic, that they needed to address. A few days late they scheduled the install and Chad came this time and all of my concerns were taken care of. They are professional, neat, and did a great job. It has only been a couple of weeks all is working well i got a check from Brevard the paperwork on the correct unit gave me a FPL credit of $155 more than they calculated so the sent it to me. ie, Honest.

All 3 guys showed up on time Very courteous and answered all questions. They changed all the copper tubing, drain, and thermostat wire that was running in a chase inside to the outside. Other contractors wanted to charge extra to change it.At the end they showed us how it should be maintained and what to look for. They gave us a 10-10-10 year guarentee while other contractors wanted to give a 10-1-1.

Everything was completed as promised on time and at the quoted price.  They did a great job cleaning up after, and stayed late to get the job completed as promised.

I could not be happier!  From my request for an estimate through installation, this company was awesome.  The sales person was extremely knowledgeable and explained several options.  The installation crew was top notch, very professional, on time and did an excellent job.  Quality product, fair price, excellent service.  I would highly recommend this company.

John was very punctual and professional. He took the time to explain all our options and listened and addressed our concerns.  As promised, the installation crew stayed until the work was completed and everything cleaned up.  While installing the new air handler one of the crew accidentally hit the safety on the hot water heater and it began leaking.  Chad took care of the dripping by replacing the existing safety and then connecting it to the outside piping that was not done when the hot water heater was originally installed several years ago.  He made it right. Brevard Heating and Cooling went above and beyond just getting the job done.   I would definitely use Brevard Heating and Cooling in the future and would highly recommend them to others looking for a new air conditioning unit.

The technician arrived right on time and was very professional and courteous. During his inspection of the unit, he diagnosed two serious deficiencies in the the unit's operation that was causing the unit to run at very low efficiency. These deficiencies were the result of wiring errors made during it's origninal installation two years ago. The technician took the time to explain the problems to me and made the necessary repairs at no additional charge. He then contacted the Tempstar company to verify that my unit had been properaly registered for its warranty. The technician was very knowledgeable and highly professional. I was extremely pleased with this service and will definitely call upon this company again for any A/C service issues.
