I found Steam a Way on a professional cleaning website along with Angie's list. They were very responsive to setting up the inspection and subsequent dates to do the cleaning of carpets and marble floor. Angel was very diligent to confirm all the days the crew were to come to the house. Though the service took much longer than I was told at the beginning ,it was finished the same day and done well. Their technicians were very knowledgeable about marble cleaning and was ready to inform me all about the care of marble floors. There was a miscommunication about the job done and price but after hearing about it, Daniel the supervisor, was willing to resolve the issue completely and professionally.

.Steam-A-Way may be a good carpet cleaning company but they apparently do not have the equipment needed to detect moisture behind tile. I would not recommend them for any type of bathroom leak water extraction

We were told that the company would take care of the water damage by removing and disposing of the wet carpet. They would remove the base boards and bring in fans to dry out the walls and also be our advocate with the insurance company. They did come in quickly with the fans and removed the base boards. They did not act as an advocate with the insurance company and they did not remove all the carpet and they did make a mess of the baseboard which they left behind. They told us that they would be in touch with us at least every other day. We have not heard from them and they have not responded to phone calls or text messages. They do have a good sales pitch but at the end of the story they do not carry out their promises. They did provide the proper equipment to dry out the walls and did drill holes under the baseboard for air flow but that was the extent of their services for $2400.

Our waterline broke to our washer/dryer flooding our laundry room. My plumber (separate) came very quickly and solved the problem - then steam-away showed up very quickly soon after as well. Set up the drying equipment and came in to check in the work every few days. All in all very good. The only ding I would give them is they sounded somewhat pushy on the phone in regards to lining up on the insurance. Would call them again because I think the pricing was fair and the service/responsiveness was good.

They did everything they said they were going to do and they were on time. Scheduling went well and they were able to come to my home right away. I was able to get an estimate beforehand and then two technicians came out to do the work. They came out every day to check on the progress of the damage and they were very responsive. The work was completed in four days. The person that came out did not speak good english and it was hard to communicate with him on what I needed.

I am not in the home at the moment, and the contractors have called to tell me they did not do a good job. The maintenance man called the company to have them do the work, I did not. I have heard their pricing is a little high also.

They were out within 2 hours and began extraction and clean up. We really felt like they had protected our property and stopped any further damage. They cared about getting things taken care of and kept in contact with us (they had to leave blowers & a humidifier)... are carpet and padding was a mess and could not be saved so they were able to help us find and install new carpeting. They made a rough situation less rough. Good people.

Steamaway has cleaned upholstery, antique rugs,etc for me. They also have a non-toxic sealing process that is wonderful. All their employees are professional and pleasant. They are not cheap, but they are worth it!

Jason is very good. He did a beautiful job. The client was not well and her brother was directing the work from Pennsylvania and he did a wonderful job despite not having anyone there on site. He was really nice and very pleasant. I just thought he was a great guy. I had a great experience with him.
