As a senior citizen, I hesitate hiring companies that I am unfamiliar with. I gave HomeAdvisor a chance. What a great decision. Universal Exterminating Inc. was an excellent recommendation. Shawn Kahn was prompt, knowledgeable, explained the entire process and extremely courteous and the "best" news was that he fixed the problem. My only problem was that I didn't get in touch with HomeAdvisor and Universal Exterminating sooner!

We STILL HAVE a bedbug problem in our apt. Joseph sprayed our bedroom and living room, and though he promised to do our closets and the "perimeters" the day before, he definitely did not. He told us to give it five days before we should call again in case the bedbugs are still around, but when we tried to call them back, they were cleraly avoiding us. We called Shawn Kahn, we called Joseph, and left our number, but they never called back. Later, they claimed that their receptionist copied the number wrong. Finally, we set up another appt. with them--and Joseph NEVER SHOWED UP for that day. Awful ,awful service!

"These clients were given instructions on several occasions in which they failed to execute. WIth the several phone calls they claim to have made, they fail to mention that they did not follow through with the supplementary actions needed to eradicate their bedbug complaint. When the tech conducted a follow up visit, none of the initial instructions were executed subsequently causing a delay with correcting their bed bug complaint."

Shawn from UE was terrific and very helpful. I had a recurring waterbug/cockroach problem. While he was not able to fix the problem on the first visit - he came back 3 more times and was very proactive in following up to make sure everything was covered. Great service

I highly recommend Universal Exterminating, Inc. Shawn provided a thorough inspection and worked his schedule so that the job could be done at the best possible time. Julian and Phillip were professional and were very respectful of their workplaces(the garden had to provide access for the hoses used). Everything was done efficiently, while at the same time, done properly with respect to my home's surroundings. Not a branch was broken in the garden. Thank you gentlemen. Karen
