Description of Work: My LG washer lid would not lock. They came out to inspect situation, ordered the part and returned 2 days later to replace the part that had gone bad. They were a pleasure to work with.

Description of Work: They were wonderful. They even helped me find a discount price on a new washer and dryer as it was not worth repairing. They are not into overcharging. You can so trust them! They are into building a long term relationship with customers. So glad I found them.

Description of Work: Replaced faulty part of ice maker. Job went real well. The technician tried his best to repair the issues but in the end the part had to be replaced. I was very happy with them and will use them again!

Description of Work: My GE washer was broken and making a terrible noise. I called a & J Appliance Repair Service and they responded immediately. When he looked at the machine and explained everything to me he recommended that I don't spend anymore money trying to repair it. He didn't try to sell me anything. The experience was very refreshing. He did tell me what the cost of a repair would be and even suggested possibly buying a used one from someone else. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the machine and his explanation of everything that was wrong. In the end I bought a new Samsung machine elsewhere. Very happy with their service and will use them again.

Description of Work: Called A&J spoke with one of the owners. Although they did not service our Bosch Dishwasher, he diagnosed the problem over the phone and was able to provide a solution which WORKED...CLASS ACT.. I recommend them to anyone... He could have made a Saturday visit and charged us.... They are now my provider of service & I will let all know in our subdivision

Description of Work: I contacted A&J through Angie's List to service my washer which was only filling with hot water. They came out the same day! After looking at the washer, it was determined that I needed a new valve, which would cost ~$200 total, including service call fee (which is deducted from the cost of the total repair.) | |The part needed to be ordered so A&J came back a week later to install. After moving the washer out of its position to facilitate the repair, the rep realized that the hoses going into the washer were reversed. We had recently moved to a new home and the movers must have reversed them. I was not in the laundry room during the repair and would have never known the real problem if the rep had not told me. He reversed the hoses to their proper place, pushed the washer back into place and said, "That's it. You're all set." Since I had paid for the service call the week prior, he said I owed nothing additional. | |**He could have very easily charged me for the new part and I would have never known that that wasn't the problem.** | |I HIGHLY recommend A&J and will definitely use them for all of my future appliance repairs. (Oh, and the rep also suggested brands to buy/not buy when my washer and dryer need to be replaced.) A+++++++++++++++++

Description of Work: They fixed the problem...knew exactly from the beginning what it was. It went well and it was fixed in a reasonable time. There was a small issue...we had no ice and later realized the ice maker had not been plugged back in..an oversight on the technician's part. I made a call the next morning and the technician was out here to take care of it in a very short time. The technician's manner was professional at all times.
