This was a wonderful company to work with, from the initial phone call to the job's completion.  Mr. Ragot, who came to inspect the house and provide an estimate, was very professional, polite and knowledgeable.  He found several sites on the exterior that were in disrepair and made sure they would be corrected before being painted. His team of painters arrived promptly and worked diligently; they too, professional, polite and knowledgeable.  Both interior and exterior painting jobs were completed quickly and neatly with beautiful results.  Most impressive was the really nice team of painters who would take time to talk with me and answer my questions even though they were very busy.  I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality painters--or for
any one of the numerous home improvement services they provide.

We are going to use them.  They looked at the house, talked about what we were going to do, and they said they would e-mail us a quote, which they did.  They met us when we had scheduled the appointment.  We have no complaints so far.

Generally OK,  Wall prep work could have been better, the kitchen cabinets have grit in finish and orange peal (too heavy a paint on some).  They said this is the best they could do.   I think they need a QA person.  Their wall paper removal and paint work is excellent on walls, ceilings and trim and that gets 5 stars. Their prep work get 3 stars as I would have thought we would see no wall blemishes based on paying for a new knockdown finish.  The cabinets get a 2-3 stars based on the orange peal and grit in the finish.  The owner said they had equipment issues and did try a few times to correct the door finish.

Our paper hanger was a seasoned professional and did a great job. He was patient in the lengthy removal process, which was complicated due to the fact that the wallpaper being removed had not been sized. Still, he worked long days to get it right, hung the new stock with precision and reinstalled our hardware and fixtures on a timely basis.  We have received many compliments on the new look in our guest bathrooms.

The painters arrived on time every day and cleaned up at the end of each day.  They moved the large pieces of furniture and replaced after walls and trim had been painted.  A couple of switch plates cracked when they were removed and replaced.  They replaced all with comparable plates.  They completed in less time than anticipated.  The employees were courteous and answered all questions I had.  The owner came each day to check on the job.

The owner, Mr. Ragot, came to give us an estimate at the appointed time and the work began when it was scheduled. The cost was exactly what was estimated even though the walls took two coats of paint. Very professional. Excellent job. This month they will be painting the exterior of the house.

There is good news and bad news. The bad news was strictly about getting the project started, and in light of how things turned out I am tempted to ignore it. There was a series of setbacks that pushed our project start date back an entire month, which would rate a C on Punctuality. Once we finally got the ball rolling however the project moved forward very quickly. The painters were very punctual each day (an A+, so they got a B for timeliness overall), professional and worked practically nonstop all day. They were very respectful of my home and extremely neat and tidy. The plasterer who had come in to repair cracked corner bead and some other issues found additional problems that we hadn't seen when the estimate was being drawn up, and those were addressed without any additional charge. Overall I think it was good value for the money and I would use them again.
