Superior Pools did a complete redo on our 10+ year old pool.  The original contractor had cut corners, installed substandard products and had poorly finished our 900 square foot pool, spa and beach areas.  Superior removed old pop ups, skimmers, equipment, decking and wall material, essentially built us a brand new pool.  I can't be positive enough about the workmanship, response to any issues raised - the overall professionalism of Superior and staff.  In the end the finished product looked fantastic and works flawlessly.  We did our research and decided on Superior based not only on online reviews but on the actual work they had completed which we were able to see in pictures and onsite.  We are completely satisfied with the product and ongoing technical support.

Okay with Spencer's visit, but after that nothing. If he could not complete the estimate in a timely manner it would have been nice to have a follow-up from him.  We have received 3 other estimates that were performed on the following dates: 6/12, 6/17 and 6/19. These 3 additional companies all submitted their quotes within 7 days if not sooner.

Spoke with Jon whom is a co-owner and explained that I have purchased an in-ground swimming pool pump and digital programmable multipurpose control.

Nobody that I had spoken to until I spoke with Jon was willing to install a pump and timer since I did not purchase from them but nobody sells the pump (very efficient).

Jon has been great throughout this frustrating time and I highly recommend Superior Pools.

It just amazes me that pool companies do not want to install a 3rd party product. 

We are very pleased with how the project went, and we gladly give Superior Pools our highest endorsement.  
We received a total of four quotes from various pool contractors, and while Superior Pools was not the lowest price they demonstrated they would be the best value and the easiest to work with - family owned/operated business, use of quality products, and best of breed pool design and construction.  We noted that the proposed equipment selection was better (e.g., variable speed pump, top of line salt generator (size and model) and that the use of a common manufacturer for the equipment would minimize integration issues and provided an extended warranty.  We also understood the value of using subcontractors who were very dedicated to the business. 
The fact that the owner, Mike Brandt, visited the job site at the start of each work day and at a minimum returned again at the end of the day demonstrated his commitment to building a quality pool.  Mike also kept us up to date regarding the project schedule, including who would be coming and when they would be there.  The work flow went extremely well - no long delays between stages of work or waiting for materials or crews.  When any issues did arise (very few), Mike was on top of the situation and was decisive in taking corrective action. He also ensured that we were completely satisfied with the results, even if it meant doing something over.  Superior Pools also demonstrated the ability to reach out to manufacture representatives for help to get early and total resolution, which they accomplished in handling an issue we had with the remote control unit.  Lastly, and very important to us, Superior Pools was very prompt in returning phone calls and responding to emails.  Our calls were always responded to within 24 hours - more often within the hour.   
In closing, we feel that everyone at Superior Pools (from the owner down) is very customer focused and committed to building a top quality pool/spa.  

From creation of the pool design, Spencer, gave us great ideas and advice to make our pool a showcase.   Superior pools installed new pavers instead of adding ones that were on our lania, it gave the pool and backyard are great look.

Mike and his crews came when they were scheduled and kept us up to date on the installation.  Everyone who comes over is so impressed on how the pool, cage and brick pavers turned out.  I would recommend Superior pools highly.

Work was a little slow and sporatic and took a long time to finish, but they did a good job.  Staff were helpful and conscientious.  I would use them again. 

Superior did an excellent job. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was installed correctly. They were extremely good at keeping us updated on the progress of the project all the way to completion. They were genuinely nice people to work with!

Update...I talked to someone by the name of spencer and he was very polite. At this time I do not need a pool so no further contact has happened.

The pool is beautiful! They are the best company I have EVER worked with; they are always there to answer any questions. They are here when they say they will be here. They returned any phone calls very promptly. The teams that they have that come out and do the jobs are respectful and were very efficient in their work. I cannot say enough about Superior Pools. I would HIGHLY recommend them to build your pool. We work with the office in Gateway. Mike, Spencer and Shane were awesome! They are such a nice family owned business. 

Waste of time. Scheduled an appointment according to their schedules and no one showed. Very unprofessional.

We are delighted with Superior Pool. This is a big expense and we did much research into companies and got many bids. As we compared bids, we quickly discovered all the bids did not include all the items needed so the bid seemed very low cost.  We got high quality materials installed by highly professional workers that took great  pride in the precision of their work. The work was done in a timely manner  and Superior representative  checked regularly to see all was going well.   Neighbors come by often to get ideas on building a pool. We always advise they talk to Superior. Our beautiful pool significantly enhanced the value of our home.  We will enjoy our wonderful pool for many years.

It all happened very quickly, just as they said it would. From the digging of the hole to the pool, to the cage, to the swimming. It is a beautiful pool and we are so very happy with it.

I have worked with many contractors in the past but Superior Pools ranks at the top of the list. This family run business began on time and finished on time.  The final results are beautiful and just what I wanted.  Dee was so helpful with the original design process  and keeping me informed every step of the way through production.  Mike showed up on the job to inspect each step, anything that wasn't just right he made sure it was corrected immediately.  Lastly, Shane took over the final step of the pool and spa installation for the 30 days following the pools completion.  I found the whole family very easy to work with and very professional.  I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to install a pool and/or spa.

It went extremely well.  It is a hard decision to pick a contractor for such a large investment.  I was new to the area and walked into their office off the street after seeing other reviews.  I had contacted a few other pool contractors and had not been impressed.  Superior's prices seemed in line with other prices I was receiving - not the lowest, but not the highest either.  Everyone from salesman Robin to all of the crew were professional and friendly and seemed to really care about customer service. You can tell Robin is very experienced.  He was not at all pushy and listened to what I wanted and was extremely helpful in designing the pool and considering all options. I saw waterfalls on pools during a tour of local pools and so glad that I added one to mine.  It looks and sounds great and adds a nice upper level area.  He never pushed for anything but simply gave pros and cons to each idea I had when asked.  Robin and the office staff were very prompt in getting answers for any questions I had along the way.  I love my pool and highly recommend this company!

Superior Pools of Southwest Florida 517 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33953 After doing extensive research before selecting a builder I chose Superior Pools of SW Florida. This decision proved to be one of the best and most satisfying that I've made. All the employees of the company displayed professionalism and pride in job beyond anything I've seen in recent times. The employees were not just hard workers but craftsmen that took extra care to create the perfect results. The process was monitored closely and communications throughout were excellent. .The various crews coordinated their work like a fine tuned machine and at the end of each session the work area was left spotless. The pool was actually completed ahead of time. I would highly recommend this company to my friends and family. It was truly a remarkable experience.

They were very good. They were very professional in the way they presented it but we decided not to build the pool.
