The contract was signed on July 5, 2013.  As of February 6, 2014, the project remained incomplete.  It was the worst company  I have ever dealt with.  I feel the pain of the other reviewers.  I don't plan to go in to detail here because it would be way too much to write, but I can tell you that this company is very poorly managed.   All of the employees are unprofessional, rude, inconsiderate and do everything they can to avoid phone calls, texts, etc. from the customer.  The workmanship is terrible and after almost a year trying to get the project completed, we fired them and told them we did not want them back.  I was left with doors that were too large and had to be cut down, missing shelving, no crown molding or lighting as contracted, entirely wrong hinges doors (doors wouldn't open), missing hardware, unmatched stain, holes for shelving never drilled, and I could go on.  I hired another contractor and wood company to finish the job.  Then the final blow--the owner of the Murphy bed company charged the balance to my credit card without notifying me.  I don't know if they are still in business, but if they are please do not use this company.  There are other Murphy bed companies in the area that I am sure will be professional, experienced, responsive, considerate and a pleasure to deal with.

We are both in our 70?s.  We?ve lived and done business in over a dozen communities over the years, both in military and civilian life.  This has been the worst experience we?ve ever had with a retail outlet.  We live 103 miles North of this store.  A brief and paraphrased record of this mess is as follows:
Monday March 3rd 2014: Ordered and paid ½ down for a queen panel bed from Murphy Beds Direct to include for an extra $550.00 delivery and installation.  The contract said to expect as much as 12 weeks for delivery.  12 weeks would expire Monday May 26th.
Friday May 9th: Called Murphy Beds Direct to see if the bed could be installed before May 20 because we were expecting company.  They promised installation on Saturday May 17 around 10:00 AM.
Friday May 16th:  Dealer calls me asking for the balance  ?paid in full before delivery and installation?  is written into the contract.
Saturday May 17th: The installer shows up at 2:30 PM and only installs the bed cabinet.  He promises to return Tuesday May 20th to finish the job.
Tuesday May 20th: Installer called to cancel the appointment and reschedule ?toward the end of the week, I?ve been in the hospital?.
Tuesday May 27th:  Long after ?the end of the week? I call asking about the delay.  I?m told by Don, the owner, ?installer had a family emergency we?ll have him call you when we find him?.
Friday May 30th:  Finally after much back and forth, Installer calls and schedules for Wednesday June 4th at 10:00 AM.
Wednesday June 4th: Installer is no-show, calls me in the afternoon to reschedule for Tuesday June 10th.
Monday June 9th:  I call the installer to confirm June 10th appointment, ?yes sir I?ll be there tomorrow?.
Tuesday June 10th: Installer calls to delay again till Saturday June 14th.
Saturday June 14th: Installer shows up and almost completes the installation.  Some of the parts are either ?missing, wrong size or need to be repaired?.  Promises to return Monday June 16th.
Monday June 16th:  Installer is a no-show, calls to delay till Saturday June 21st.
Friday June 20th:  Called the installer to confirm our Saturday appointment, ?of course, I?ll be there?.
Saturday June 21st:  Installer is a no-show, won?t answer my cell calls or e-mails.
Monday June 23rd:  I called Don, the owner, he says ?I thought that job was all done, I?ll have the installer call you?.  Exasperated, I asked and received approval to just come in and get the missing parts (2 parts) and install them myself.  At 12 noon the installer called, ?I?m in the hospital?, I tell him the same thing about coming in to pick up the parts tomorrow and give him the list.
Tuesday June 24th:  I drive to Ponte Vedra and pick up the parts, handed to me by the installer, who must be out of the hospital.  We?re just glad to be done with this dealer.
Wednesday June 25th:  I finish the installation of the panel bed that I paid $550.00 to have done.
In short, we?ve never done business with a more duplicitous dealer where the owner and the employees have no idea what each other is doing, if I can believe what they?re saying.

Order that was to take 6 weeks, took 14 weeks.  Installation took 3 days and was done by very hard working yet inexperienced men.  Workmen never showed up when promised.  The shop was unresponsive to calls.  Product not as promised.  Probably the worst experience I have ever had.
