Re Roof was perfect. Inspector said it was done correctly. However there is a minor flashing repair they need to make & they REFUSE to come out. Good work, but don't count on them coming out if there is a problem after its done.

John was great. I hired them based on the combined facts of their estimate and also the fact that John was a New Yorker (I'm a former New Yorker and New Jersey guy who recently moved here). My experience in South Florida is that contractors are flakes, never show up when they say they will, take forever, etc. I would have given a full 5 star review but I was disappointed with the length of the time the project took (it was not due to weather or due to permits). Start to finish on the tile installation (AFTER the hot mopping) was over 2 weeks, when we were told 3 - 4 days. We were traveling during most of this time (home for some days) and there were no weather issues for more than 2 days out of the 16 days it took for the roof to be installed. That said, John promised 48 hours from receipt of permit, and he showed in 72 hours (which I was fine with). The roof came off in one and a half days and the team was professional and clean and cleaned up after themselves. The tar took a bit longer and I didn't notice any spills on my property except on my gutters (which are getting replaced anyway). The tiles we wanted were on back order for 4 weeks even though I was told by the manufacturer they were, in fact, in stock. Not sure what the deal was, but John got a similar product so that he could start the tile. Again, it took a LONG time, much longer than promised. Also, there was A TON and I mean a TON of left over unused tiles. I feel like the manufacturer sold us way too much and it all went in to the trash which is a waste of material and a waste of money. I don't think that was John's fault, but I'm sure someone made money off of that waste and I know it wasn't me! I would recommend him and hire him again. Great guy. Nice customer service. And in terms of South Florida contractors, by far one of the more reliable ones I've encountered.

There were a few hiccups due to delays in getting permit approved by the city and weather conditions. But Safeguard came out and corrected the issues. That is Customer Service!

They did a really good job for my roofs. However, their big heavy truck broke a lot of title in our new driveway. I asked to fixing them, but they didn't respond my request at all...

safeguard Roofing did a very competent job installing my new roof which was a large complex design. Their installers were skilled and hard working. The cost was lower than that of competitors. Be aware that replacing an old roof and installing a new one is a messy and disruptive project.
