One of the items was an antique tea cart. To fit it into a shipping box, Postal Palace BROKE IT INTO 2 PIECES. The breaks were at the doweled joints between the lower shelf and the legs. We had the cart repaired at a cost of $430. We have sent them photos of the damage but they refuse to pay for the repair, claiming that the cart was damaged in transit and DHL is responsible. However, the shipping carton was not damaged. The cart as we received it was packed with the main part (top shelf and legs) upside down and the legs sticking up. The other piece was placed crosswise and right side up. The company that repaired it can attest to the fact that this was not damage that occurred in transit. 2. Some of the boxes were insured for nominal amounts, but others for $1100-3500. Despite the high values, Postal Palace did not require a delivery signature so DHL dropped these huge boxes on our front lawn where anyone could see them and potentially steal them.
Description of Work: We hired Postal Palace to pack and ship items to Massachusetts from my father-in-law's Florida apartment after his death. The shipment came to 12 large boxes.
