I called the manager many times and asked if he could send in a better repairman. The same guy came again and again.He kept patching the vent over and over. After the warranty period I called another company and they fixed it. I would never use these people again.

Company sent out a technician, who was really a salesman. Basically a wolf in sheep's clothing. Apparently, Lindstrom A/C pays "technicians" by commission, so there only incentive is to run up a big tab, and sell you all sorts of unneded junk. The "techinician" told us we needed over $6000 worth of goods for our 3BR townhouse. When we told him we had to get a second opinion and nearly had to through him out, for overselling us thing totally not needed, he looked embarrased. The call was simply for an annual routing maintenance. But apparently Lindstrom never misses a chance to deceive customers and rip them off!

I got an appointment right away, which was good, because I did not want to wait. They came out within half an hour to an hour. They charge $85, and I think I got a discount because of Angie?s List, so it was $75 plus labor. The work was for an hour. I think I have used them in the past too. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

They are dreadfully expensive. I had used them before and I was very upset with them, but we had an emergency and I didn?t know who else to call immediately. I called them and they sent someone who knew what he was doing, but they charged a fortune. Everything is working perfectly now. We use them for air conditioning as well but they are terribly expensive. We?ve been using them for the air conditioning for a long time and that part of the company is very dependable. I think the plumbing part is fairly new and they just didn?t have the right people when they started it. The guy that came out the last time was really good and he was a master plumber. Despite the cost, I think I will continue using them. I don?t have the strength to deal with mistakes so I need someone who knows what they are doing and does it well.

Great company to work with, very professional. Did exactally what they were supposed to, turned up on time, did the installation, and left the house clean and tidy. Would thoroughly recommend them.

Only once have found this company to be anything other than very professional and efficient. I was especially impressed when the A/C installation crew put booties on over their shoes after noticing that we had carpet. Additionally, their office staff is always pleasant and easy to get in touch with.

I have used this company for many years and have always found the prompt, reliable,economical and always punctual and friendly.

THEY ARE UNPREDICTABLE. SERVICE FROM FAIR TO HORRIBLE. TOO BIG A COMPANY MEANS NO QUALITY CONTROL OF THEIR TECHNICIANS. EAGER TO INSTALL A LARGE UNIT - BUT NOT GREAT IN SERVICING AFTERWARDS. AS MENTIONED ABOVE THEY HAVE STOOD ME UP MULTIPLE TIMES FOR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS. THE LAST ROUND WITH THE SUPPOSED 'BAD COIL' TURNED OUT TO BE THE LAST STRAW. I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND I AM SORRY THAT I GAVE THEM MY BUSINESS.

The company was prompt and my technician was professional, but I don't feel any more reassured about my system. The tech did spend about a half an hour total with the compressor outside and then in the garage with the air handler. Basically, he told me the system was working. (I already knew that). He also told me the air handler was old and a little dirty, but he couldn't clean the coils because of the age of the air handler. He asked if I was interested in replacement and I said not now. There was no pressure to meet with a salesman. After the tech left, I was reviewing the check marks on the invoice which indicated what had been inspected and was okay and he had checked off indoor ducts and vents as being okay. I never saw him look at an indoor vent. If any tune up was done, I was not informed about it and I feel I just wasted $80.00. Huge disappointment because Lindstroms came highly recommended by a friend who used them for an inspection on a system they installed for him and I now wonder if the quality of service is linked to systems they have installed.

On a routine maintenance visit, I was told that the coil was dirty and would need to be replaced. My extended warranty would not cover the cost. I was told it would be $400.00, and the coil would be ordered. After one week, I called to inquire about the coil. I was told it was still on order. After another week, I called again and was told it would be arriving the next day and an appointment was scheduled (what a coincidence!). The next day, the technician arrived, removed the old coil and inserted the new coil. Then he tells me that the compressor is not working and that they will have to order a new one! So, it's 90 degress outside, 85 degrees in my house, and I now have no air conditioning. The technician could not tell me when it would be fixed! The insurance company for the extended warranty was called and the agent asked to speak to me. He could not believe that this company was doing all this when I never had a problem to begin with. My house was not cooling correctly, so I do believe that the coil did need to be fixed/replaced, but the compressor? So the technician leaves and says he will check on it later to see if the compressor started working. I telephoned Lindstrom and asked to speak to the manager. I was transferred to his line and received his voice mail. I left a message and asked that he call me as soon as possible. He never called me back! About 2 hours later, the technician returns and tells me that the compressor is now working. He was never able to give me an adequate explanation as to why it was not working. But what irritated me the most, was that no one seemed to care that I had no air conditioning and could not give me an answer of any kind as to when I would. Also, I was charged $490.00 which is more than I was told. My unit is only 4 years old and I am having these kind of problems and expenses. I wonder if I was even sold the correct size unit for my house or if it was even a new unit. I have a yearly preventive maintenance agreement that I pay for, and I am supposed to receive a 15% discount on all repairs. Which I did not. I am very unhappy and disappointed. I think when the maintenance agreement expires, I will be looking for another company. I feel like I have been ripped off. And the fact that the manager never returned my call, is very disappointing. I guess they don't need the business!

These guys were awesome. The sales rep who came out for the quote couldn't have been any more helpful. He was polite, looked at ways to get us the best bang for our buck, and was a true professional. There was no pressure to buy. He answered every question we had and checked on availability of the products while he was with us. The installation took a day. The men were polite, worked extremely hard, and were meticulous about cleaning up every scrap. This was a tough job getting the old air handler out of our attic, but they did it and put the new one in very efficiently. They had plenty of guys to get the work done right, not the usual 1 guy and a helper taking a week to get the job done like a lot of South Florida "contractors". They also ran an entire new duct the length of the house which was a hot, nasty job, to improve the effciency of cooling the house better. I'm saving over a hundred dollars a month on my electric bill already! Awesome company. I highly recommend them.

I have used them about a year ago. During the first visit, The employee came out in the middle of the night, about 2am, to come and fix the problem! He was professional and kind. For the most recent project, the employee was a bit pushy. I wanted to talk about the AC unit but he continued to talk about cleaning my air ducts.

It was excellent and very professional. Another guy who has an air-conditioning shop was taking me for a ride. this people did what they had to do in out and I am so happy with my Trane air conditioner.

The technician was very poorly trained and did not know his craft at all. He tried to run up a huge tab, recomming completely unncessary repairs and parts. Apparently Lindstrom technicians are paid on commission so they want to as many services and parts, since that results in a larger paycheck. The technician did not even know what kind of unit we had even though it was staring him right in the face. The technician was very pushy and tried to press real hard to sell items, even using fear to try to sell unnecessary items. Frankly, I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy!

The quality of work was fine. He was responsive and punctual. He was very nice. However, he did try to sell me some extra stuff which I denied. When he turned the thermostat back on, it didn't work and he said that I was going to need a new thermostat. He started showing me the prices and it started working, so I told him that I didn't need one. When I was at the home improvement store, the thermostats were priced at 40 bucks or 50 bucks. The guy from the air-conditioning company had shown me the ones that were getting into the 200 dollar range and that too for a cheap one. The problem I had was really small and he immediately found it and fixed it. I have used them before for repairs and I have never felt like I was being ripped off. He was trying to sell me the stuff when he saw that the thermostat wasn't working. I don't remember how much I spent, but it was a minimal repair.

They are one of the larger companies in the area and they have the knowledge to service my unit. They are pretty expensive for their work, however they do the work well. They were responsive to me throughout the project.

They are very responsive. If you call they come out the same day. I have recommended them to many friends.

He found out that the problem was because of a box in the garage. He got it working, but he told us to go ahead and call an electrician to get the box replaced. He did a good job. He came when he was supposed to come. It was on a Saturday, so it was a double fee.

They did a good job! They were thorough. I could order my air filters through them. They were punctual, clean and professional.

Overall very well. Originally, the salesman was certain the new equipment could go back into the attice. But the installation crew said no, and they were correct. Besides, it just makes better sense to have the electrostatic air purifier unit at ground level for maintenance. By moving the equipment down out of the attic, they were able to also move the compressor away from a bedroom area. While the new Trane is very, very quiet, no sound can be heard from the new location. We negotiated this change at no extra charge. When we completed the purchase there were several inducements to buy Trane which lowered the price to the amount shown above.

The sales representative was prompt, efficient, and extremely personable. He answered all of our questions. There was no pressure to sign a contract. When we did decide, he arranged the work to be completed two days after signing. The gentlemen that did the work covered all of the floors before beginning and swept and vacuumed the floor after the work was complete. They arrived on time and worked all day so that we would have air conditioning by the end of the day. All work was complete by 5:00 p.m.'

I get a 15% reduction with servicing and parts if you are on a contract with them that services the unit every 6 months. They stand behind their products. They put booties on their shoes whenever they come into your home. I would recommend them to others. They call before they come to your home.

This company is reliable and effective. If there is a problem, they will send repair persons out until the problem is repaired.

They were okay, I was happy with them for awhile. They were responsive, punctual and professional. I paid for a service contract with them where they came out twice a year to service the air conditioner. The compressor on the air conditioner had a five year warranty, and it went after just four years. They didn t honor the contract and made me pay for another compressor. I dropped the service contract with them on my air conditioner after that. Now I m looking for someone to come and service my air conditioner. I did have one good experience with them. I had problems with it leaking a lot and I had to call the supervisor. Once the supervisor came he fixed the problem.

Some one else told us about them. They were very professional when they were there working. The quality of the product was very good. They were very prompt. They told me a lot about everything. They did a very good job at cleaning up.
