He did all this without being intrusive, which I like very much. I wish there more people out there like him. Again, thank you very much "I gave up trying to get rid of the roaches. I called you because a neighbor recommended you. After you came out they were dying everywhere for days. It's so nice to be roach-free!"
"(Member Name Removed) I am very sorry to hear that you were not happy with my Inspectors advise on how to treat your home. My Inspector (not salesman) recommended to you that your home be tented because he found numerous areas of Termite Evidence and felt you home could not be properly treated with a spot treat or liquid treatment. And so you are aware - we do provide and recommend these services - when the problem can be treated properly and professionally using these methods. A Few Comments That You May Want To Check Into: 1) Did you tell any of the Salesman when they arrived that you did not want to Tent Fumigate? Be Honest - Since a salesman will sell and tell you anything you want - whether right or wrong. 2) Did the Warranty you received state whether it covers the entire structure against re-infestation - or just the area that was treated? Be Honest - most spot treatments only cover the area that was treated 3) Is the Warranty you received - renewable? Be Honest - most spot treatments only cover the area that was treated - and only for one year. 4) Did you ask the company you hired if they have a Fumigation License? Be Honest - most do not *So they don't suggest or recommend Tent fumigation (The are 4 separate pest control licenses in the State of Florida - 1) General Pest Control 2) Lawn and Ornamental 3) Termite 4)**Tent Fumigation**) 5) If in fact that the company you hired has a Fumigation License - do the do the Fumigations in house or do they have it done by a sub-contractor? Be Honest - very few companies who have a fumigation license actually don't do the fumigations themselves they sub contract it out. 6) Do you know why most companies who have a fumigation license don't do the fumigations themselves?? Because it is very labor intensive - not to mention the cost of the labor, chemicals, tents, equipment, insurance, etc. is extremely high. But the profit margin is extremely low compared to a spot treatment and/or a liquid treatment. * Spot treatments are extremely profitable. 7) Do you plan on reporting back to Angies List if the treatment you received did not work (when termite evidence starts poping up every where or you get a swarm next Termite season)- with an apology to my company? Be Honest. Don't get me wrong there are excellent companies out there who can get rid of your termite problem - but certain conditions dictate what treatment is needed and should be performed - But certainly the treatment you receive should not be dictated by What You Want To Hear - but by what is needed."
Very nice people, but not organized.
1. The cost listed above is for two services. Drywood termite inspection and quarterly perimeter (maintenance) treatments for a year.
2. Company was recommended by structure inspectors to complete termite/pest inspection prior to purchasing home 1 year ago. This work was satisfactorily completed.
3. Less than a month after moving into new home, air conditioning contractor discovered a possum living underneath the exterior unit. I called Command and they provided a humane removal of the possum in a timely manner.
4. Because I was pleased with initial work, I contracted Command Pest Control to provide an interior and exterior treatment for ants and other bugs when I moved into new home last summer (June 30, 2013).
5. I agreed to an annual service contract that included a 30-day treatment after the initial treatment and then, quarterly treatments to follow. I asked several times (including phone conversations and email) for some type of written agreement that included ALL terms, but only ever received only a copy of the annual warranty which does not include the specific terms of service.
6. Command workers arrived and treated the exterior perimeter AND completed another interior treatment because I called and explained that we were still having ant issues inside the home.
7. I assumed the next treatment would be 3 months after the initial treatment. This should have been during the first week of November 2013. No one came. During the week of Thanksgiving 2013, I called because we were still having ant issues. I asked that the workers call ahead of arriving (I intentionally stayed home) because I wanted to speak directly with the workers to draw their attention to specific areas of concern. Command apparently double-booked the service. A worker showed up who had no idea why he was there. Later the same day, workers who had previously been to the home arrived to complete an exterior treatment. No one called in advance. The invoice I was given was dated November 7, 2013 - the work was performed approximately 20 days after the date on the invoice.
8. The next treatment occurred when no one was home and without prior notice. An invoice was left in the front door on April 15, 2014. This was not quarterly service. This was the last service completed within the contracted year. (2 out of 4 treatments).
9. Initial contract indicates that the annual renewal date should be in June of 2014 (I purchased home June 28, 2013). I had to call Command in early July and ask them why I had not received quarterly treatments as contracted and why they had not made contact to renew service for another year. During that conversation, I was told by Misty that it was close to July 4th holiday and many workers were on vacation.
10. A re-inspection and treatment were scheduled for July 10th. No one showed up and no one called. My partner stayed home from work for the day. I called a day after the scheduled appointment. Command provided an apology, offered a discount, and re-scheduled the two appointments for July 13th (One for termite inspection and one for perimeter pest treatment). The morning of the appointments, I received a voicemail message, while at work, that there was a problem. I am a summer program teacher and could not answer the phone until my lunch break. In the meantime, the termite inspection occurred (for which I paid $169.00), but the treatment did not. When I called during lunch, I was informed that the treatment had to be rescheduled for a third time. When I asked what would be done to compensate for yet another inconvenience, I was told "nothing more can be done, we already gave you a discount for the previously missed appointments."
"Mr [member name removed]- I received your above comments thru Angies List - I do apologize for you not being completely satisfied. I wish I would have been made aware of these matters earlier so I could have remedied any issues you were having. I would like the opportunity to correct and/or made up to you any problems and / or concerns you are having - your satisfaction is very important to me. I have sent you an email today 7-29-2014. I appreciate your above comments (even though they were not favorable), because without them I would not be aware of any issues - I thank you in advance in giving me the chance to earn your trust and business once again. Thank You David Galvagni Owner - Command Pest Control, Inc."
Fast forward to March of this year and I have the house for sale. I renewed the warranty with Command and they retreated the house and completed a form required by the state that the house was free of termites. The very next day a potential buyer had the house inspected and thousands of termites were found. David Galvani the owner gave me the run around when asked why his team did not see and take care of the termites. He promised me he would tent the house "at cost". I had him do so only to find he overcharged me by several thousand dollars. I asked David about the overcharge and he got very nasty and threatening.
Do business with Command Pest Control at your own risk.
"I am very sorry that Mrs [member name removed] was unhappy with my service - since I never once spoke or had any interaction with Mrs [member name removed] **EVER**. I only meet and spoke with Mr. [member name removed] - advised Mr [member name removed] was to Tent his home in 2013 (We are in house Fumigators - this is my main business) - Mr [member name removed] did not want to tent his home because he did not want any damage done to the new plants he just put in around his home (he was getting ready to put it on the market). As far as the repairs Mr [member name removed] called us out twice to re-caulk an area of fascia over the garage (the same area), Mr. [member name removed] expressed to me that he was very happy with all of the other repairs. As far as being late - if we give a time frame of 12-4 that means we will arrive sometime between 12 PM and 4PM - it does not mean we will arrive at 10AM. As far as tenting the home in March of this year - Mr [member name removed] was afraid that the Buyers would walk away from the house if the home was not tented - it was not required. Mr [member name removed] knew quite well that his warranty did not cover Tent Fumigating, since he did not choose that treatment initially. As far as the ***overcharging*** by thousands of dollars - I would advise Mr [member name removed] to check his records - (Slander of my good name is not taken lightly) Mr. [member name removed] was charges $928.00 to Tent Fumigate his home - that is less than 1,000 dollars. I am very sorry if Mrs [member name removed] is having communication issues with her Husband (Mr [member name removed]) - if Mr [member name removed] was suppose to consult with Mrs [member name removed] before making any decisions on his own - I can only wish that he would have done so, but to try and Slander my company is uncalled for, and quite frankly I am surprised that Angies List allows such slander with out checking the facts first."
Very happy with the prompt service and quality work.
After 3rd visit and 1 month later I discovered that they only applied to my side of the ficus, not both sides. So, the ficus on the neighbors side was still infected.
I would not hire them again.
"I am very sorry the customer was not happy with the service - but I do have a few issues with the review: We treated the customers hedges (23 feet) in July (NOT OCTOBER) and there were 2 treatments at $75 per treatment. At the time of the treatment it was explained to the customer that the treatment would last approx. 2-3 months (we have a severe White Fly problem in South Florida). The customer called us in November to request a FREE Call-Back - for the White Fly spray that we did in JULY, the customer was told that there would be a $75 charge to re-treat the Ficus they were not happy. I must assume that the customer was Happy in July, August, September, and October - because they never contacted my office with any issues."
You should not have answered your phone & let your answering take your calls instead of wanting me to make appointment for Tuesday, I then would have hung up, & saved us both alot of time. So thx for wasting my time.
Misty @ Command was very efficent & was able to get ahold of Alex Morales the Technician. She called me back & the appointment was set for 11am-100p. Alex & his assistant arrived @ 1220.
To whom it may concern- should you ever need pest control give Command & save yourself time & headaches. It's nice to know there are still honest business people in Ft Lauderdale area
