Great company to work with; only some minor delays in follow up once the major work was done. They stayed in touch by email and telephone throughout the process. I appreciated the personalized service after the roof was completed and would highly recommend their services to anyone.
I had a leak in the living room after a heavy rainstorm . He did not find any openings or cracks but just in case caulked all the places where water could have gotten in. He was extra careful and made sure any little opening was covered up. I was very happy and grateful for the time he took to make sure I would have no more problems - and I didn't.
Purchased the $200 deal for a roof tune up. I was told by Bentley Roofing through Angies List Messenger that I would be contacted and by one of their roofers. I got a call the next day and set up an appointment but he never showed up. I messaged Bentley Roofing and asked once again if I could be contacted and they said I would be by the end of the day, and I never received a phone call.
I was frustrated and contacted them once again, and a different guy then before, Bryan, who was really nice and professional contacted me the same day. He came over and completed the task and went above what I expected. He explained everything to my wife who was there at the time, then called and explained it all to me as well.
"We pride ourselves on the overwhelming number of positive reviews we receive on Aggies List. Thus, as the owner of Bentley, I am saddened by the untruthful review this customer has given us. The customer makes so many false statements that I am at a loss as to where to begin to respond. However, I feel the need to highlight a few of his most egregious fabrications. First, the customer called us on February 23rd of 2016 to have us come out to give him a quote for a new roof. This is something we had discussed with him given the awful shape his roof was in when we did a minor repair on his flat roof in July of 2015. However, when I responded to his home the next day, he instead demanded that I return his money for the July repair job. He claimed that we had not fixed the right spot on the roof that was leaking even though he had never called us to complain about any more water leaks after we had done the repair. My response was that we have a company policy that the homeowner or his representative must be present to show the repair person where it is leaking inside the home before any repair can begin. At this point, even though the customer was being rude, disrespectful and belligerent, I offered to attempt to fix, at no cost to him, any leaks he was currently experiencing. To this, he responded “no, I need my $1100.00 back more than I need my roof fixed”. To me, his response said it all. At this point, I told him I needed to speak to both my salesman and repair technician before I could make any decisions regarding his demands. The next morning (Thursday), just as our office was opening, the customer came in demanding his money. My office manager informed him that I hadn’t had time to discuss the matter with my staff and that I would call him when I had done so. I was unable to discuss the matter with my staff until Monday when I learned that given the length of time that had passed, neither was able to recall this particular repair among the hundreds we do every year. On Monday morning I refunded the customer his $1100.00. The customer’s claim that it took two weeks to respond to his demands is belied by the date stamp on the picture of his roof the day of my visit (Wednesday) and by the date stamp on our check which he cashed the same day he got it (Monday). In the end, I gave this customer a refund, against the advice of counsel, because we are committed to making each and every Aggies List customer satisfied. Despite his negative and untruthful review, I treasury the overwhelming number of positive reviews we get year after year."
He walked me through what he would do and provided me with the confidence that the roof was in good condition after inspection.
He said he need to repair a few tiles with some 'glue'.
He seemed to be very quick though on the actual work and was gone before I knew it.
Would recommend for those house holders who have recently purchased their home and want an opinion on its state.
I liked the service as I know that if I have it looked at on yearly basis then I will extend the life of the roof and importantly protect from those awesome Florida rain storms!
I would not ever doubt to hires him again.
