The installation crew was respectful and focused. They even left my home cleaner than it was before! Assured Storm is like the love child of the DMV & Comcast. Omg this company is a disaster. Let me tell you a story (see TLDR at bottom)... I contracted Assured Storm to install panels on my West Boca townhouse in April 2020. What happened next was a comedic level of screwups, and terrible customer service like I've never experienced before. To start, we needed HOA approval before installation. As requested, we emailed Assured's team a list of what was needed. They provided everything except a copy of their Palm Beach license. No big deal, right? I replied to Assured Storm with the request. First email....crickets. Second email...nothing. My HOA needs this doc, so I call to request it. The woman who answered says "Someone else in the company manages this. I will let them know you need it and they will email it to you". 2 more days go by with nothing. I reply to more of their team a third time...nada. Finally I had to email the request to the sales rep that sold me the package and he finally replied with the needed doc. Whew, finally over that hurdle. Next up after all HOA approval is scheduling the install. A few weeks go by and I don't hear anything about scheduling which seems peculiar so I call to check in (because I have zero faith in anyone's ability to respond to an email). Of course, the first woman I talk to doesn't have any info, so she says a manager will call me back (oh boy...). To my delight, one actually does call me back about an hour later (yay!), and promptly delivers the news along with a handful of apologies that....they.....literally....forgot about me. They took my deposit then forgot I existed. Ouch...frustration level intensifies. Now, along comes installation day which actually went ok. The install team accidentally left a few of my panels back at the shop, but they did deliver the next week which I give them credit for. Now that install is done the city inspector needs to come for the final review (Assured charged $150 for this). I requested final inspection 4 weeks after completion, then again 6 weeks after completion. After 4 weeks they said "we don't have the permit in our possession, as soon as we do we'll let you know" (hah!). My 2nd email 6 weeks post installation wasn't even replied to. So now here we are 2+ months after installation, no inspection has been done, and I can only believe they simply took the permit fee & pocketed it. Man....if I would have known this all from the start I would have gladly paid lots of extra $$ for anyone else to do the job. TLDR...Assured Storm will take your money, provide the worst customer experience imaginable, forget about you, then top it off by pocketing your permit fee & never file it. ***********Update*********** I was contacted by Assured Storm based on the contents of the below complaint. They did apologize for the customer service challenges, which I appreciate - it's how I feel customer service should be. It was great, Mario the sales man I worked with was magnificent. I changed my plans two or three times and he was quite patient. The office team was wonderful. And the young men that did the installation were very efficient and timely. I would definitely recommend them

Product quality, ES WINDOWS & SLIDERS + DOORS are of “Excellent Quality” & I would recommend them, but customer service, communication & follow thru are bad. As of this date Oct. 2020, on a contract signed Jan. 2020, we are still awaiting inspection, final trim work & slider handles continually falling off........ No one can give us a definitive completion time !!!!!

These guys were great to work with starting with the initial quote, final measurements, installation and final county inspection. Installers were very experienced and completed the job in one day. The quote included a professionally drawn diagram showing window/door locations. This was very helpful in getting homeowner association approval. We are totally satisfied with the installation and would highly recommend Assured.

I am Jerry K.and I Recently bought accordion shutters -super nova style from Assured Storm Protection for my home in Boynton Beach,fl. They are really great shutters-so easy to operate and secure. Assured Storm Protection did everything as they said they would-always on time and very pleasant and professional to deal with. Their installers were extremely competent and cooperative as was the engineer who came to make sure everything was correct. I had used them 20 years ago for shutters in a different home in Boca and never had a days trouble with them and they sure served the purpose when we got hit with hurricane Wilma. .Great product and great company to deal with

9/24/2020 Horrible,rude,slow customer service. It's been 90 days ,no shutters,no communication,they ignore messages. They are very rude on the phone,no one can find things sent in for the job. 1st it was the permit that was misplaced then our association approval. This is crazy. It's the hurricane season and we ordered since June and still no shutters. No one has told us when we will have them. They do not return calls and does not respond to email. ..worst experience as a homeowner doing business in Florida,

They were excellent. Service was prompt. Small problem which they fixed immediately. Very happy with this company.

I this a bad experience! The salesman Brian did an excellent job explaining and selling the product, and the price was reasonable so I agreed to purchase. I made my initial deposit, and was told that I should contact Barbara the office manager. I suppose her job is to do nothing and that's exactly what she did. My husband and I had to call her at least six times after our initial email with information she needed and requested, and remind her who we were and what we were verifying ( did she receive our emails with information and documents). Eventually as my husband tried to recap his experience with her and to her she hung up the phone on him! Exceptional customer service right?. At this point we no longer wanted to do business with the company, but after an apology from Kim who agreed to work with us from there, we decided the proceed. To date one month after the 10 to 12 week window in which I was to receive the installation, we are still waiting as the storm approaches. I have never received a call back even after being promised one on several occasions. It is not as if I left it up to them I called numerous times and was told the same lie. Everything was blamed on covid-19 except when the deposit was given. I am certainly not going to recommend this company to anyone. Windows have not yet been installed, we will see how that goes

1) Many firms I called never called back. 2) Most of those that have called, "The job is too small, we only want to do a whole house". 3) Couple of 1 person firms who DID show up, 1 never called back with an estimate, the other one with whom I actually made a deal..... to come Sat. to do the job..... never showed up to do the job. Angie's list doesn't work for medium or small projects. woULD 've been $750-$1,200 job.

Started well, nice people. Then, when trying to get estimate I never got return call. I had planned on using them for my 2 story house and I don’t know what happened to them!!!!!????

The hurricane shutters have still not been installed since we just hired the company to do the job. However, based on the estimate process, this is a very professional company. The technician was at my house on time to measure my windows, and as he promised, sent me the quote the next day by email. Once we decided to hire this company for the installation of our hurricane shutters, the technician sent me the written contract the next day, as promised, with exactly the same numbers as the quote he gave me. They were not the cheapest, however, the reason we hired this company is because they were the most professional during the quoting process, which is a good indicator of how things will go during the installation process. I will update my review once I can comment on the quality of the shutters.

I highly recommend Assured for PGT windows and sliding doors outside as well as CGI sliding doors inside. The salesman, Brian, was very knowledgeable about the products and the price was very competitive. The installation was performed as scheduled by an excellent Contractor and his crew. I was especially pleased with the caulking around the doors and windows. The service and installation met all my expectations above and beyond.

Priced out 3 companies and Assured was the best price with SuperNova Accordion Shutters. The were reliable, professional , and clean. The work was done in one day . I would recommend to all .

From the original estimate in Nov. 2019 through the final installation in February 2020, the team at Assured Storm Protection handles everything in a professional and organized manner. They took care of the permitting process from start to finish and did an excellent job installing our new accordion shutters to replace the old aluminum panels, including filling in the holes left by the screws. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for hurricane shutters for the upcoming hurricane season.

Assured sales representative Anthony Sanglorgio came to our home and showed us a large assortment of hurricane sliding doors. We selected ES Elite Bronze for our living room and bedroom sliding doors. Flavio did our installation in a very professional and meticulous manner. He explained everything to us every step of the way, cleaned as he went along, and overall did an outstanding job. We could not have been happier with the entire process and will definitely use Assured again when we complete the rest of the windows of the house. 3 addition people in the company who assisted us were Barbara, Phil, and Keith. They made the entire process seamless. They were always available to answer our questions.

Had a great experience from the sales process through the installation. We originally decided to do half the house with impact windows and the other less visible openings with shutters. After the windows were installed we were so impressed with the look and quality, Assured let us cancel the shutters and go full impact windows on the house. Great decision. Knowledgeable engineers and installers. Very happy with the final results and would do it again. We chose a mix of CGI and PGT windows installed in Plantation, FL. - Tom S.

I am in Delray Beach and many of my neighbors used Assured and were pleased. I am glad I took there recommendation and was extremely happy. The whole process was easy and my CGI windows look great. I don’t usually write reviews but thought Assured should get the credit they deserve.

I had Bertha accordion shutters installed on my home in Coral Springs by Assured Storm Protection. I purchased my new home just 1 day before Dorian was announced to hit South FL, and the house only had impact glass on some of the doors. I got 4 estimates for shutters and Assured had the best price for the highest quality product. Assured caught some things that none of the other companies addressed. For example I have 2 sliding doors that the seller told me were impact glass and they are not! Assured was the only company to mention that they checked for me and I was not protected on those doors and included them in the quote as well. All the employees were professional and polite. I would recommend them to friends and family!

The shadows were manufactured within the estimated time, the quality is very good, and the installation went very smoothly. Any questions I had were answered quickly and professionally.
