Description of Work: My niece had a baby , about 900 miles away,so I ordered flowers from 1-800-flowers. I had used them before and been pleased with the service. I ordered same day service making sure I picked from the appropriate page on their web site. The next day I talked to her and no flowers. I got a hold of the site and they said oh,we contacted you and told you we could not deliver them until the third day,and they forgot to send you the $ 20.00 gift certificate for your inconvenience. Well they never contacted me so no wonder I didn,t get a gift certificate!Who wants a certificate from a company that does business like that? Of course they were sorry but they only have one florist in that town. It's a city of about 200,00 people. I told them honesty is a wonderful thing and perhaps they should not tell people it's same day service when it is 3. I cancelled the order and told them I was going to tell Angie's List! It made me feel better.

Viewed various choices of floral arrangements online; found one I liked, took down its order number, then placed the order by phone. The Customer Rep. was very courteous, helpful, and effecient. My daughter called to tell me the arrangement that arrived was beautiful, and right on time. I have done business several times before with Flowers.com and have been pleased with their service. They deliverd nice flowers to the correct addresses, on the requested dates, billed me correctly, and always were helpful and friendly. This is important to me, and why I will be a return customer.
Description of Work: Funeral boquet ordered by phone; delivered the next day, on time; to Florida.

They are good at getting back to you but that's where their support/service ends. I contacted this company about 1 month ago via email to inquire why I had not received a coupon that this company was supposed to issue to me. My email inquiry was returned with a response to call their 800 number to resolve the issue. I called the 800 number and the woman that I spoke with didn't really know what I was talking about and ended up closing our conversation by saying that I should be receiving the coupon in the next couple of weeks. No such luck. I've since contacted this company via email on over 5 different occasions and they have given me the run around or tried to pawn the problem off on another company. They do not take ownership of the problem, rather hope that you'll get frustrated in the process and give up. I've yet to order flowers from this company, but after this experience have no reason to. The quality of their flowers could be fine, but the issue of how they treat their customers (and potential customers) is not good.
