These guys are fantastic! The agitator on my washing machine stopped working. It was fixed the same day I called for an appointment. The service tech had the parts in-stock and he fixed it immediately. Excellent professionalism, Very knowledgeable. And for what it's worth, he was a lot of fun....full of personality. Thank you, Gunn!!!!

Mr. Gunn came in. Went to work. Showed me the label, and we laughed about his last visit, and he left. He is the kind of man that South Florida can be proud of: nice, kind, fair, quick, and HONEST. I have referred him to friends and I hope I never have to see him again, but if I do, it will be a pleasure to work with him.

Gunn provided service advice on the scheduling call without the requirement of a service call. I appreciated their honest approach to doing business. They recognized that my problem might be an easy fix, and instead of scheduling a service call to make a quick buck on an easy fix, they gave me the chance to fix it myself - at no expense. THANK YOU!!

It went extremely well. He had the necessary parts on his truck and was able to solve the problem quickly. Definitely someone we'll use again.

Scott was great...very professional and knowledgable of his job. He came to my home and immediately diagnosed the problem. The lid was bent which confused the sensor...he adjusted the lid...now the washer is working great...Scott was in and out within 30 minutes. Thank you Scott, for a job well done.

Immediate diagnosis. They came out on a Saturday on a same day callout. It took a few days to get the parts in but that's to be expected. Knowledgable and good communication. The price was a little high on labor in my opinion but I haven't really priced the market so it may be in line with other providers.

The price was fine. I would probably use them again.

My housekeeper in her inexperience put dishwashing detergent in the dishwasher. Needless to say, I had a SUD revolution in my dishwasher. Due to this, my garbage disposal was clogged (as he said) and I couldn't get rid of the suds and the water in the dishwasher. Well, the techinician did come in on time. His solution was for me to cut a couple of pieces hotel soaps and put it in the dishwasher and that should get rid of the problem. I was charged $50.00 for this GREAT solution which of course didn't work. I was left with the same problem that I had in my hands. I guess it was too time consuming for him to solve. What a waste of money!! I wouldn't recommend him again.

He was very kind and informative. Since it was a computer panel that was broken, the cost was just a bit much at this time. But he did say that if I needed them in the future, he would apply the service call to the next repair.

Scott came out right away when I called and let him know the dryer was having another issue. He said we were covered under 90 day warranty. He replaced the faulty part with no hassle and no extra cost.

He took the broken machine apart and put it back together working!

No response from the service provider to my request to service my dishwasher. I can only assume that they don't monitor communication from Angie's List members and want us to call for service. Used a different service provider. I'm not rating responsiveness as an F only because I was only willing to wait 36 hours for a response.

We just got back from a Memorial Day trip and I had lots of laundry to do, but unfortunately the door on my front loader wash machine would not close. I called Gunn Appliance Repair and they were able to come on the same day! However, when they arrived, they did not have the part for my particular unit, but Scott (the technician) went out of his way to find it and fix it the very next day (and even arrived early)! He was very personable and professional; I would highly recommend this company for appliance repairs.

My refrigerator suddenly stopped working around 5:00 PM. I called the provider and was told that I would get a call within one hour. Approximately 30 minutes later, I received the call. The provider arrived in about 10 minutes. He checked the refrigerator, did some troubleshooting and determined that there was something wrong with the timer. He replaced the timer and the refrigerator started working. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to fix it.

It worked out well. They were here when they said they would be, they let us know what they problem was, and they fixed everything properly.

Our washing machine wouldn't stop loading water. I am pretty capable of fixing many things around the house and with all of the information out there on the internet, I gave it a shot. So after watching a short video, I was pretty confident that I could handle the repair and started taking it apart, turns out the heavy blanket that I tried to wash caused the tube that connects to the switch to let the machine know that it is full of water, fell off. Feeling great that I was able to handle the repair, I put the hose back on and loaded it up with clothes and water. So you know I wouldn't be writing this if worked, turns out I forgot to put the switch back in that lets the machine know that the lid is down, so it wouldn't spin the water out. I was really concerned that I could get someone out on a Saturday and also worried about how much extra I was going to have to pay. After calling a few companies on the list and for the most part only getting answering machines and people that won't work on Saturday, I decided to make one more call. Best call I could have ever made, not only did the owner Scott answer the phone, he was the one that came out the same day to make the repair. I was worried that folks wouldn't want to work on something after I had taken a ton of stuff apart and had screws everywhere. Scott didn't hesitate to qualify my problem over the phone and compliment me for making an attempt to fix it myself. He was able to come out the same day, he called me on his way just like he said he would and was on time. Scott knew what was wrong with my machine within minutes of being there, he had to put back together what I had taken apart so he could properly diagnose the problem. Turns out he not only knew my exact model of washing machine, he had made training videos for my exact washer. He was very polite and a pleasure to work with, he explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. All he had to do was put back the switch that I had forgot, Scott didn't try and sell me anything new, he just went right to the problem and had it up and going in minutes, I couldn't have picked a better company to call, do yourself a favor and call Scott and his team, I know I will never use anyone else and will recommend them to everyone. Thanks Scott and thank you Angie's List for being such a great resource for this type of repair. By the way it was only $50, can you believe that?

He was fast. He came after business hours. He was giving it an importance. He was professional and saved me money. It was a good thing than throwing it away and buying a new one. I'll give him all A.

All I wanted to do was schedule a time to fix my appliance. In my first conversation I thought maybe Mr. Gunn was just having a bad day, so I gave him a second and third chance...even after all the back and forthing, his volatile behavior, lieing, yelling at me and hanging up on me. I'm not sure what is going on but I don't feel comfortable or safe doing business and am going elsewhere.

Based upon reviews here, phoned on Friday, 4 April relative to repairs required to my KitchenAid refrigerator [ice maker; I subsequently remedied the issue myself] and KitchenAid convection microwave/hood combination [microwave wouldn't heat]... Was initially encouraged... --Phone rep initially stated that they do not service hood/cooking ventilation systems... Fair enough but I was clear that the issue wasn't with the hood/ventilation system but with the microwave itself... --After reiterating that the issue was with the microwave--not the hood/ventilation system and not the control panel--the rep expressed that microwaves are sometime more costly to repair than to replace... Again, fair enough, but I explained that mine was not a run-of--the mill appliance, that it is five years old, that it gets used less than half the year [I am a snowbird], that it gets used infrequently when I am in Florida [I'm a single guy/don't cook much], that it's in mint condition/spotless condition, and that the cost to replace in kind--I'd looked before I called--is $1300 at current retail... --Phone rep allowed as how he was uncertain--but was doubtful--that they would be able to get a Technician to my home that afternoon; that too was fair enough... To his credit, the rep phoned back later that day to say that they would not have a Tech in my area that afternoon but that they would phone on the evening of Sunday, 6 April, to schedule a repair call for Monday, 7 April... I never left my home on Sunday evening... No call... I subsequently expected a call--and again, never left my home--on Monday, 7 April... Didn't happen... Same thing on Tuesday; 8 April... I did not call a less favorably rated competitor [recommended by KitchenAid] to arrange for microwave repair until Friday, 11 April--a week after initial contact... It's been like waiting for Godot; four weeks since initial contact, they have yet to call me back as promised! And that's just unacceptable by any standard... I can only assume that this provider--who knew from first call that I'd selected them based upon reviews on Angie's List [in fact, he told me that I need not print the coupon found here]--has let his reputation here [how they earned it is beyond me based upon my experience] go to his head! Not customer-focused, doesn't meet commitments, and fundamentally disrespectful [if they didn't want the work, they should have called to say so]... What a waste of time... The microwave has now been successfully repaired at a cost that--while not bargain basement; several key replacement parts needed to be ordered--is a fraction of what it would have cost me to replace the unit in kind...

I CALLED LATE FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD COME TO REPAIR THE REFRIGERATOR BETWEEN 9 AND 11 AM. HE CALLED BEFORE HE CAME TO CONFIRM THAT I WAS HOME. HE FIXED 1 PROBLEM AND RETURNED WITH A PART THAT WAS NEEDED SEVERAL HOURS LATER AND COMPLETED THE REPAIR. I WAS VERY THANKFULL AND HAPPY THE FREZZER AND REFRIGERATOR WAS WORKING, I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN AND ALSO TELL OTHERS WHO NEED THERE SERVICES
