I've reported some disturbing business practices at East Coast Air Conditioning to the authorities, including the Florida general attorney's office and local police departments. Scott Smith the owner encourages his sales tech named JJ to scam senior citizens.

Rude, won't return calls and actually hung up on me. They installed my a.c. incorrectly and also blocked the coils, the entire unit was not sealed properly and was also not level and angled 30 degrees towards the house.Caused water to drain inside the house and ruin wood flooring.

Never contract this company, they are not registered with angi, and they start sending messages saying that they are going to send me to collections when I contract them trough angi so I had to spoke either my lawyer

Perfectly! They did an outstanding job with changing the ductwork to make one section of my home cooler

East Coast Air's Scott estimated and provided oversight while Johnny and Xavier did an excellent job of replacing an old outdated and useless ac duct with a modern well insulated duct system that Scott convinced me was the best way to provide ac to my home that often didn't cool well in the summer. Boy was he right. It works great now. They also replaced the central air system that was over 20 years old with the right size for my home and we saved on the electric bill. They did an excellent, professional job that was preformed with minimal inconvenience.

It was a scorching hot day, but you sent 4 people from your company to go in the attic and install a/c & move some ducts. Your workers were professional, hard working, punctual and neat. When they left the condo everything had been cleaned up. I was so impressed. A man came back today to do drywall work and paint. Again very professional and did an excellent job. Thank you so much.

I didn't have any work in my house

The company had to return several times to inspect and complete defiencies from initial installation. On the last visit the bait and switch technique was used with a charged contract for annual service on the system.

I had my complete 4ton air-conditioning unit replaced by East Coast AC & Refrigeration and I was extremely satisfied. There technicians did a beautiful installation and were very careful to work cleanly and had my new system cooling quickly. I have used East Coast for over 15 years because they have always treated me fair and they provide quick, professional work and use quality equipment while charging reasonable prices. I highly recommend East Coast AC & Refrigeration to family and friends as I have always been happy with their services.

They were very respectful and prompt and had good communication. The duct installation was not great, there were several places where the ducts were not installed properly. They fixed some but not others. I'm still waiting for them the fix their installation (almost 2 year after). They are good at a/c work but don't hire them to replace your ducts.

Not hired- never heard of them

Everything went great. It has been over 5 years since the installation and we have had no problems.

they sent subcontractors or people unwilling to do a proper job neded to recall them several times and for the wall unit had to finally pay for someone independent to do the installation
