Response to the company update. I certainly appreciate the follow up prompted by my Angies list posting. My take on this follow up call: - we both agreed St Pete charged a scheduled fee which is set at a premium price - I assert that such a price should come with commensurate service - we both agreed that the technician sent out was most certainly not appropriate. - all blame seems to be put on him (and to some extent on me) While I am glad to hear that the technician was let go by the company since I had my experience, this does not rectify my experience, and no offer / proposal to resolve was proposed in this call. Moreover it must be noted that no follow up call from the company was received until after and only as a result of my Angies list posting. Despite: 1) my having paid in full 2) their acknowledgement that there was work to be completed 3) their having let this technician go knowing he had worked on my job As a point of comparison in my company all my employees are ambassadors for my company and I take responsibility for their poor behaviour should it happen. The response is misleading in the following regard - No effort / offer was made to rectify the situation - only to understand it, despite we all agree 100% payment was made but not 100% of the work was performed.

They always do a great job. They are a little more expensive than some others, but they always do good work. They are certainly responsive, they get out the same day or next day. They are pretty thorough in terms of explaining the issue which is particularly helpful when you are not there to see the problem.

I was able to schedule an appointment for exactly the time I needed it. It was nice to get a person on the phone at the first try. The person scheduling the visit explained the service call fee up front. The plumber who came to the house was professional and explained everything he was doing. I am pleased with the repair, price, and would use the company again.

They did extraordinary work, honest beyond reproach. Worth every penny they charge.

We noticed that a corner of the bedroom carpet was wet and starting to get moldy. We called the plumber to take a look as we felt it was probably from the bath that was on the other side of the wall. The prognosis was a leaky shower pan. We contracted to have the work performed by St. Petersburg Plumbing. The work was done very efficiently. It took several days for the clearing and removal of the old pan and tiles, cleaning and replacing old drain parts. They cleaned the mess everyday and kept our carpets clean by laying down plastic sheeting throughout the bedroom, hallway and living areas. The final inspection went without any glitches and they were through with their part. We used their recommended tile company to replace the tiles and finish the project. Overall we were very pleased with the work although we felt it might be a bit pricey.

They were great and professional and came out right away and did there work and cleaned there mess and we even hired them again for some more work. We recommend.

I was fine with the $79 service call fee but the price they charged for the actual work was outrageous. They charged me $950 just to replace the faucet and to take out the garbage disposal. I have since checked with other plumbers and they estimated the cost to be about half as much as I paid. I called them back later to fix a back-up I had in the bathroom and when he came back out he told me he wouldn't charge me another $79 service fee since he had just been out. He then charged $450 to snake the line when other plumbers charge around $200. He made it seem like he was doing me a favor for not charging me for the second service call and then grossly overcharged me. I would definitely NOT recommend them.

Quoted $289 plus the $79 service charge (Total: $368) to fix a minor leak with the kitchen water filter hose. Dropped $80 instantly when I said that was too high. I recommend NOT using plumbers that charge a service charge that does not include any time. They think you will pay anything since you have already 'sunk' the $79 service charge. I paid the service charge and found another major plumbing company in the area whose service charge was a minimum charge. Total bill was $220 (including service charge) which included a complete new filter system, better hoses, etc.

Called on a Saturday and they had a technician on site within an hour. Very prompt and professional. I would recommend them.

DID MINOR REPAIRS AND DID EXCELLENT JOB. TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THINGS.
