Contacted Scott and he came out in a timely manner and gave us a professional written proposal detailing what we were getting for our money. Did state to my husband that he was very busy and probably wouldn't be able to come out until mid-May. Low and behold on Saturday, April 30 he called and said he'd be out on Tuesday, May 3 to do the job. Scott and his crew came out on May 3rd and did the rescreening of our pool cage and it looks great. They even swept the patio and cleaned out the pool area that got derbis in it from the job. Scott and his crew were very polite and conducted themselves in a professional manner and I highly recommend them.

Finished promptly but had to come back two times to correct some flaws. Came back no problems

Job went smoothly, as we expected. We used this firm a few years ago for a similar job on another house we were prepping for sale and found them qualified and reliable. Same in this case. The crew arrived on time. There were a few previously identified complications involving gutters and obstructions, but three men finished the job smoothly in three hours. The material seems of good quality. Scott says he uses the best materials and I have no reason to doubt it. The workmanship is neat and professional and the job is covered by a 2-year warranty. Overall, I'd be very pleased if all contractors operated the way this one does.

They were wonderful. They completed the work on time. I was unable to pay the same day and they came out the next day to collect the same. I apologized for the delay and the executive said, it was fine, because I had time to check their work with my husband and advise if everything was fine. I like their services and will use the same in future.

Even with Angie's List discount, the quote I received from Sr. Screens was still slightly higher than another quote I received from an installer recommended by someone I knew. I decided to use Sr. Screens based on all the great reviews I read on Angie's List. I'm glad that I did. They came, did the work, cleaned up, and left. It was totally uneventful and that's a good thing. I would definitely recommend them to others.

Scott promised, and delivered on everything. From the time he came by, to the time we paid him, he was very professional. You can tell that he considers his customers as priority one; his crew did an excellent job. The last time I had this done, the company I had hired left a mess, and did a horrible job. SR Screen did a great job, and it looks great! I will recommend them to my friends, and acquaintance's.

Promptly returned call for an estimate and except for some delay in the work due to weather conditions, the screen panels were replaced as soon as conditions allowed. They completed the job in several hours and I would use this company again.

The old pool cage was quite corroded and rusted in many places, the screening had some holes, and several seams had come loose. We contacted several firms to get advice and estimates regarding the alternatives of re-screening the old cage or erecting a new one. Sr. Screen owner Scott Brunelle impressed us with his demeanor, the scope and quality of the information he provided (both in person and on Sr. Screen's website), and the wisdom of his counsel. After weighing the cost-benefit of both courses, we became convinced a new cage was the wiser investment. We had separately researched different screen options and desired to use Phifer BetterVue for superior insect protection (smaller openings) and better visibility (finer strands). None of the contractors we spoke with had used it yet. One contractor refused to use it and another would not guarantee it. Scott was confident they could use this new product with no problem and offered their normal guarantee. On Feb 9th we contracted with Masterkraft (Scott signed) to do the work described in the block above. Masterkraft first removed the old cage. We separately contracted with someone they recommended to resurface our pool deck. Masterkraft then manufactured the new cage, delivered the various sections to our backyard, and erected the enclosure over the next two and one-half days. The Masterkraft team (Dana Moore, Ray Moore, and Mike Radcliff) was superb in every respect. Dana had done a great design, the manufacturing was meticulous (e.g., uniform and tight construction, all fasteners equally spaced, no scratches in the paint), the enclosure was erected with care and precision, the crew was cheerful, and they cleaned up after themselves each day. Although we had only contracted for painted fasteners, when they discovered St. Petersburg code required stainless steel fasteners, they installed them at no extra cost to us. Immediately after the Masterkraft crew completed their work and left the job site, Scott Brunelle came by to look things over and make sure we were satisfied. The city inspector commented that it was a nice job. When we noticed a small (less than 1 inch) tear in one screen a few weeks later, Mastercraft promptly came out to fix it, at no charge. In summary, we are very pleased we decided to deal with Sr. Screen and Masterkraft Aluminum. Our patio and pool area are now much more pleasant and attractive. Scott, Dana, Ray, and Mike are a class act. We highly recommend them and would be glad to deal with them again if the opportunity arises.

The estimate was very reasonable. The workers were prompt, worked quickly, and did a very nice job. The next day my wife noticed one screen we had missed and they came out the same day and replaced it as well. Really great professionals!

The process took place in three stages. First was the estimate and proposal, followed by a pressure cleaning of the enclosure's cage and finishing with a complete rescreening of the enclosure. Sr. Screen was selected along with several others after a lot of time was spent studying members' reports. Scott Brunelle, owner, came to the house within a few days of being contacted and made one of the better estimate presentations I've received from Angie's List providers. He described in detail what the job entailed and his approach. He even had a small booklet prepared which listed his company's experience, qualifications, awards, description of the premium grade of screen material he uses(Phifer) compared with a standard grade, testimonials from a number of customers and certifications regarding his licensing, and liability insurance. Incidentally, he didn't just leaf through this document, he left it with me. The second phase of the job was carried out by one of his key employees, Cody. Which just happens to be Scott Brunelle's son. He spent part of a day pressure cleaning the cage. Cleaning is the key word. I haven't seen it look that bright since it was completely replaced 12 years ago. The final phase, rescreening, was done with a break of about a week. Normally they like to do the rescreening after a day or so to let the cage dry out, but in our case, the extra delay was because I guess we were from the old school and wanted to use the same color as the replaced screen which was gray, not charcoal. The rescreening took Scott, Cody and another employee a little more than half a day to complete. The overall size of our enclosure is approximately 28 by 35 feet. This is information that I would have found useful in evaluating estimates. I would suggest that members consider including this information in their reports. When the job was done I felt quite proud of the outcome. The panels feel as tight as a drumhead.

Scott came by the house about a week ago & gave me an estimate of how much it would cost. He was my second estimate & our conversation made me realize that the previous estimate was not an honest one. Scott was very open & even gave me a copy of his insurance certificate & also calmed my fears that had been fueled by the previous indvidual who told me that there was a possibility that the screens would pop out since my porch is an old one & that I would need to reinforce my porch with wood in order to be sure that one of the screens would not pop out & my cats to get out. The other repairman's estimate was over double what Scott quoted me due to this reinforcement of the porch. The job Scott did was exceptional & he even connected my gutter again once he completed the job. I would definitely use his company again & recommend him to my friends. He is an honest & reliable person!

Great. Called three Angies' List members and got three estimates. Scott's estimate as in the middle (the estimates were in a tight range), but he won me with estimate's detail, explanation, and resources to learn more about his screen product. Very punctual. When I offered to meet him rather than him make an extra trip, he declined and re-arranged so he could meet me at the service site to show me the work and discuss the warranty. That was another thing that impressed me with Sr Screen - they offered a 2 yr warranty whereas the other two offered a one year warranty. Thank you Scott

Scott made appointment for Monday November 30, 2009. He did not show or call.

Everything went very smoothly. Scott was prompt in coming by for an estimate, and scheduling was pretty quick also. If it hadn't been for the bad weather, they would have been finished even quicker than predicted.

They did a good job. I am sure they were there on time, but I don't remember. We had three estimates and their price was good.

In addition to the pool cage I wanted a new concrete pad 12X 20 and to have that enclosed as well. Scott was the only provider out of the 5 who gave me estimates that told me I would have to find a concrete contractor myself and to complete that portion of the project on my own. Once the pad was completed he would be happy to enclose it with the pool project. Other providers seemed to have ongoing relationships with concrete contractors and they would get the job done for me including the pulling of permits. That was a deciding factor in my ultimately selecting another provider. Scott impressed my a a very capable professional and craftsman. I would have no reluctance to call him again for aluminum or screening work.

He is so nice and very capable in dealing with community regulations. He is very accommodating and responsive, and is just a good guy to work with. He is an excellent guy, and is very pleasant. When he was late responding on one issue, he more than made up for it. I have been extremely happy with him.

They seemed to do a good job. I have no complaints about their work. They did leave some debris in the pool, but their work was neat otherwise.

Scott was punctual and performed all necessary repairs. Clean up and removal was excellent.

I truly appreciate the exceptional service provided by this company, they went beyond the expectations I had. It was a complete pleasure from the first phone call to them. Scott came out and gave me an estimate and answered and explained all questions I had. Then I called and made an appointment to my convenience. They came on time, did the work calmly and quietly. I am 100% satisfied with the work they did. I highly recommend this company; very courteous, personable and professional.
