We serve our neighbors in Sarasota, and the Tampa Bay area. A Sweep Across the Bay, LLC, is a family owned and operated business, with a combined total of over 40 years of experience in cleaning, repairing, and maintaining non-gas chimneys. If you are looking for a non-gas chimney sweep, repair, an install of a new non-gas fireplace or insert, or simply have an unwanted visitor in your non-gas chimney, give us a call! We have superior, and honest prices. Our goal is to provide our commercial and residential customers, peace of mind knowing that their non-gas chimney is in safe and proper working order for maximum enjoyment. They did a fantastic job . Excellent in response time , evaluation and repair ! Dean was the consummate professional! Our large metal chimney cap blew off during hurricane Helene . Also twisted a portion of metal flume off . Had a new one made and installed it . Did the repair in mid February. I had a fire in the fireplace once after and works great too !

Dean and his crew were professional, polite , and explained what was needed and the cost in detail. They did a great job installing needed parts and painting the chimney . They even came back to repaint the chimney, as Dean Sr., said it needed more paint! The crew was very respectful and want to make sure everything was just done perfectly. I was very impressed with them. They’re very good company.!

I'm extremely satisfied with the work on my Fireplace & Chimney. I had the cap replaced however, the cap was over 40+ years old & not in stock. In less than a week Dean, the owner had found a new replacement cap & installed it. He also repaired the flashing. This is a "TOP NOTCH" COMPANY! If they say the work will be done by a certain date --- it will be done. This is a strong Christian Company that takes tremendous pride in their work. I most strongly recommend this company & I am not easily impressed.

We purchased our home two years ago. We didn’t want to use the fireplace until we had it inspected. Dean explained what he was doing and why. He said it didn’t need to be cleaned so there’s not need to do it. I wouldn’t have known… Very honest guy! I’ve already given his info to my parents.

Dean contacted me right away. When I told him my problem, he recommended a solution to my problem that I could do myself. Since I was still having trouble with the flue, I asked him to come and fix it. He showed up the next day at the time promised and fix my problem.
