Chad, the Consultant is very knowledgeable on the functions and efficiency of the different systems. Very thorough explaining the levels of efficiency, pros/cons, etc. The level of service during the consultation was exceptional, and surpassed my expectations on the initial consultation from other local companies I reached out to for estimates. His thoroughness gave me confidence that the installation of the system would be just as exceptional. The company extended some courtesies I was not expecting prior to the installation. The installation was just as good as I was assured. Mr. Alexander, the owner, was at the house at the beginning of the installation to ensure everything was good and as expected. The team was considered, focused, thorough and very patient and respectful with my questions. They worked expeditiously, and did troubleshooting at the end to ensure it all worked properly, then cleaned up all the areas prior to leaving. I am very impressed with the service and overall quality of the work. I am very satisfied with the end result, and feel very grateful I did not settle with the other estimates I received from the other A/C companies. Based on my experience, and how selective I can be, I consider Alexander Air Conditioning a first class business and highly recommend it. I want to publicly thank Chad, because in my case, he was the face of the company, he represented well, he was genuinly interested in educating me, which resulted on my decision to select this company. The work they did was great! But I cannot give them 5 stars because of how expensive they were. I have a mini-split and already had it mounted and had an electrician hook everything up. They just had to come out and hook up the AC portion. It took them a little more than 60 minutes and they charged me $1,800. I felt like they had me over a barrel and I said, so, if I do not pay you $1,800, then I cannot use my AC, so what choice do I have? The price seemed extreme. I spoke to my uncle, who is a plumber and had installed mini-splits before (he was actually visiting and on vacation, and he would have done it if he had his equipment), he too thought the price was outrageous considering all of the electrical was already done. If you do not mind paying an arm and a leg, then they really do fine work and the guys that came out were very pleasant. But I felt like they saw that I had no choice and they could charge me whatever they wanted. I know I could have gotten a second quote, and maybe I should have, but I simply wanted to get it hooked up and be done with it. Unfortunately, I have had the same experience with other maintenance/construction type work, where an electrician charged me $600 to install 10 dimmer switches... something I could do myself for $50 in materials and in about an hour... there definitely seems to be something going around where price gouging is the thing right now... not sure... anyhow... that is my review.

Good Knowledgeable and great experience, Service manager stopped by to a sure everything was done right. York is a good company and been out there for a long time, now owned by Johnson Controls. Both are great companies with great products & pricing, look them up. I am sure you will like them as well as I did.

I was most pleased by the responsiveness of the business. I scheduled an appointment for 10/4 to estimate replacement costs and immediately received an email confirmation from their representative (Chad Johnson) with his cell number on it. I had questions so I called his cell number and he immediately came to my house, gave me a price, and I accepted the offer because it was a good price but primarily because of Chad's responsiveness. The installers came in the morning of 10/4 and by noon I had an operating mini-split unit. So instead of an estimate on 10/4, the job was completed on 10/4!! Great work -- I highly recommend them!
