I called Jason to give us an estimate for window treatments throughout our new house based on his reviews on Angie's List. From the day we met him until the project was finished this week, we could not have been more pleased. He recommended the perfect complement to our home. We chose 4" shutters that open or close in two sections, top and bottom. We have 10 and 12 foot ceilings, so the larger slats were the perfect recommendation for the window size. They also have hinges and can be opened so that windows can be accessed for opening or cleaning. There are no wands for turning the slats and each section is easily opened. We had to wait a few weeks, but they were here the day that was promised and everything went very smoothly with the installation. He and his crew are true professionals, pleasant and efficient. It is obvious that Jason has a wealth of experience in his profession. He custom made the wooden shutters and custom matched the paint from our window trim and the final result is perfection!! We chose not to cover a few windows in our living room that look into our back yard, but we are so happy with the shutters and they add so much to our rooms that we are going to have him cover those windows as well as soon as we are able. The shutters complete the look of each room. DO NOT HESITATE to call Jason if you want the best advice and product for your windows. Thank you, Jason!!

There were some problems with the installation. I spoke to Jason and he fixed all problems without any hesitation or excuses. Jason and his entire crew are amazing.

We could not have asked for more. The written quotation provided after an inspection and measurements were done was very competitive. A date for delivery and installation were agreed upon. On the expected delivery date, we received a call to let us know their approximate arrival time. They arrived on time and performed an efficient and professional installation. We were very satisfied with the quality of the blinds. Since then, we have had occasion to contact Blinds by Jason to return for a minor adjustment to the length of the blinds. Once again, they arrived on the expected date and made the adjustments effortlessly. Of course there was no charge for this service. Bottom line, you cannot go wrong if you select Blinds by Jason. Competitive pricing, reliable, efficient and professional installation and they stand by their work. You will not be disappointed!

We couldn't be more pleased.jason is a real professional.He came to our house on time (which in Florida is almost unheard of) took his measurements gave us a delivery date and delivered our shutters when promised. His installers did a great job and were finished in 40 minutes.In this age of poor customer service we found it a great experience.We highly recommend blinds by Jason.

Installation was quick and easy and professionally done. I can't believe we didn't do this years ago! They look great and I can't believe the insulation it provides for the room. I had been considering getting a small fan for the living/dining room, but it is so much cooler with the shutters. I absolutely love them!

From start to finish, we had a really great experience with Jason Reittinger and his crew. Jason is a really nice guy and he goes to great lengths to explain options and he doesn't try to upsell you on the most expensive product. I feel he offered a fair quote for good quality product; I had gotten a quote from another company who offered a similar quote but for sub-par product and fake wood. Jason also looked at the old shutters in the play room and he could've tried to pressure me into buying new shutters, but instead he was very practical and advised that he could easily have the sides caulked to hide the gaping hole left in the window frame by the shoddy installation done by the previous owners. After we accepted the offer, the delivery/installation occurred about 5-6 weeks later. A crew of two came out, and they were on time and very polite, wore covers on their shoes so they wouldn't track, and were very quick in doing the job. They did a perfect job installing the new plantation shutters in my kitchen. They also fixed/caulked the frame on the shutters upstairs and did a terrific job. I wish I had called Jason sooner! I love my new blinds - they are gorgeous, beautiful, high-quality shutters. It is very easy to open the shutters and clean the windows. I am kicking myself for not calling them sooner. After we've had a couple of really bad experiences with paving contractors recently, Blinds by Jason is a breath of fresh air. Great customer service, responsive communication, timely, top quality product, and fair pricing. Blinds by Jason will be our go-to from now on. Thank you!

Installers do not know what they are doing. They provide excuses about why they are unable to properly square shutters, attempt to caulk gaps greater than 1/2" rather than inform the homeowner so that window sills can possibly be leveled before the unsightly caulking job is done, and have poor attitudes regarding negative feedback. Part of my job was severely done poorly when one of the installers cut my chair rail without utilizing anything to ensure a straight cut, then tried to fix it with a poor caulking job. Owner refunded amount to repair that problem. The next problem consisted of gaps and curved frames. Same installers sent to attempt repair and made problems worse. Once I proved that the shutter was not square and needed replaced, I was never contacted again.

We have gradually been replacing all of our old blinds throughout the house with plantation shutters. We got a few quotes before calling Jason. Jason beat the other prices and has been a pleasure to work with. He's a hard working and honest man. He has great communication and always shows up when he says he will. I refer him out to all my friends/family and they have been equally happy. I will continue to use/refer him with all our shutters!
