Not well. Took a flashlight and simply looked at each toilet. When I asked if he would repair toilet for an additional fee he sort of grunted. I told him I had the replacement parts already. He agree to do it. He tore the package open and took out a part he needed. I said why don't you replaced the whole thing since it is a kit so everything would be new. He insisted on just using the one part. I was not happy with the service or the quality of work. He was actually at my house for less than half an hour. I am estimating the month and year. It was with the last two years. I certainly am not planning ever to used them again.
I chose the write this review because a couple of days ago a pipe burst in my house. I had a number of services here to remove the water and of course a plumber to fix the pipe. He and his assistant were more than helpful. First they came after hours. The went immediately to the source of the flood and began to inspect and then repair the broke pipe. They were very efficient and helpful.. He brought me the pipe and told me to bag it and to make sure I kept it for insurance purposes. They made sure everything was working and that their was not leaks before leaving. Keeping the broken pipe was an invaluable piece of advice when the insurance adjuster came the next day. That was the first thing he asked for. This company compared to my experience with Advanced Plumbing was night and day. His rates were extremely reasonable compared to what Advanced did and charged.
"Customer is writing a review for a job that was done almost 2 years ago. Actual date 9-24-13 Plumber that was on job had had 37 years experience. The customer was told that we could use the fill valve that he purchased from Home Depot & that the flapper in the kit was inferior. We had installed his fill valve and our flapper w/chain in his Master bath toilet. If there was a problem with our service what took so long for the review."
Then he said:
* That that deal shouldn't have been posted in the first place--it was supposedly only for September but it was still being advertised now
* That he doesn't receive any of the money that I used to purchase the special that Angie's list receives it all, which of course is a lie.
* The deal if it was still valid wouldn't even basic toilet repair work other than a broken handle--hardly worth the $100 advertised value
and that said it would be $120 extra dollars for them to do it.
"We said we would still honor THE BIG DEAL from Angies list even though the deal was over . The deal specified Check & adjustment in toilet tank & install new flapper w/chain. The customer said that the tank was not filling properly, which in turn he needs a new fill valve installed at a cost of $110.00"
"Customer needed additional repairs to toilet that she did not want to pay for above the $25 big deal from Angies list. Thats why her toilet was still making noise"
