Mark was great - I signed up for the maintenance visit, and he was punctual, professional, and honest. He assessed several issues with my pool, including old broken pool pump basket, broken filter gage, and cleaned and examined the salt cell. He even helped me troubleshoot my pool vacuum. I bought a coupon for Services - and it turns out this vendor is not able to perform them in my zip code. I contacted Angies list and exchanged a few emails with their customer service to obtain a refund but they never closed the loop with me. I have since had to perform the repairs myself. This is not a ding against Pool Water Medic. Pool Water Medic responded timely to my concerns but Angie's list never reimbursed me. I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company.

Mark did a terrific job. Nice guy, professional, explained what needed to be done, showed up and finished on time. Even pressured washed part of the pool deck since he had his pressure washer with him to do the pool.

He did a great job of identifying each issue and presenting us with a reasonable plan to fix it. We were so pleased with his honesty and the fact he didn't "add" a bunch of stuff that we didn't need, we hired him for monthly service. We haven't had an issue since and the pool and spa look great.

We purchased a home with a pool in severe disrepair.  We contracted Mark to inspect it.  He fixed quite a few problems initially and gave some options for further repair.  He listed the pros and cons of possible actions and was very professional.  He was more than willingly to share his knowledge and always did what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it.  Absolutely no unpleasant surprises in work performed or final billing.  A true professional and easy to work with.  If I had to nit pick ANYTHING I would say this:  He said he would be back on a certain day unless it was raining. It rained and he didnt come back but maybe a call or text would have been appropriate, we all know how localized rain can be in S. FL.  Again, I'm nitpicking, all other instances of communication were first rate.   I can easily and whole-hardheartedly recommend Pool Water Medic and, should the need arise, they would be the first company I called!

We recently installed a new pool motor (after hearing a horrendous loud grinding sound we new something was wrong).  Just a  couple of days after it was installed the pump stopped working and I contacted Mark. He offered some ideas over the phone as to what might be wrong and offered to take a look at it and clean the pool.

The first thing he did when he arrived was to check out the pump and all of the pipes. He noted that one item had become warped due to the pump running dry at some point. He also lubricated seals and joints, replaced Teflon tape, checked out the new motor to make sure it was properly installed, and primed the pump until it finally started running again after adjusting the main drain and skimmer valves.  He basically went through the process of elimination and did maintenance that had apparently never been done before in order to restore the pump's functionality.  It may sound as though it was easy enough, but it was time consuming and required priming the pump several times before it finally started to work again.

Once it was running, Mark took the time to install a new pool floor vac that I had purchased elsewhere and also added chemicals to balance the water.  He also gave advice for future care and took the time to explain all that he had done. He's only been gone for a few hours now, but the bottom of my pool already looks remarkably cleaner.

I think he charged a very fair price for his labor and was honest in his assessment what needed to be done. An unscrupulous person could have easily suggested expensive testing to *maybe* solve the problem, but Mark didn't, and I appreciate that tremendously.

Also I thought I would mention his website. I didn't take the time to thoroughly look it over prior to calling him, but I learned that is has valuably DIY and questions and answers you might want to check out.

Mark is incredible!  He came on a Sunday.  He checked all the spa equipment and did a dye check for leaks in the spa.  He is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in diagnosing problems.  He went above and beyond; practically laying upside down to reach the bottom of the spa.   He gave us excellent advice regarding repairs and even instructed us on doing it ourselves to save money.  I would hire Mark again in a heartbeat and would definitely recommend him.

The job went very well.  Mark did not have the pool motor with him and had to return another day.  He came when he promised and did an outstanding job.  I would highly recommend him for all your pool and spa needs.  
I will be calling him again with any other pool issues and when I need to have my pool resurfaced.  He gave me great expert advice with an approximate cost , so I can budget my funds to have these services performed in the near future.

He was really great. He was very reasonable and very intelligent about pools. We were very happy with him. He worked very hard and did a very good job. My husband said we have found our lifetime pool person.
