"When this customer called to schedule her appointment I quoted her a price for cleaning her carpet and applying scotchgard. Her total was $175.95. When the crew arrived at here home(and by the way we don't employ teenagers)the customer decided they wanted a sofa, loveseat & 5 dining room chairs cleaned and scotchgarded. This made her total $350.95. Unfortunately the crew forgot to add on the $175 for the furniture & scotchgard on the invoice so the customer only wrote a check for $175.95. I called the customer the next morning to explain that they forgot to add the furniture onto the invoice and thier response was that they should'nt have to pay it since it was our fault we didn't add it on. They also said they thought it was poor business on our part to request the rest of what was owed. Then they said there was something the weren't happy with as far as the cleaning. I said we would be happy to come out & redo the area in question but that we would expect to be paid for the job that we did the previous day. I sent the crew back to reclean and the cusotmer refused to let them in. I sent someone over to collect payment from them. They did finally pay what we were owed but these folks are about the nastiest customers I have ever dealt with. If the amount owed had been small I wouldn't have even called them. But they knew that their bill would be more than was quoted on the phone when they added on their furniture."
