Very friendly, informed, and professional person. We actually got the owner. Felt very comfortable with his knowledge and things shared with us about our fireplace and chimney. The other positive thing about this company is that the owner and those that perform the services are local firemen.
I would highly recommend them as was evidenced in the past reviews here when I made an appointment.

"I am so sorry for the scheduling issues we had with you. Unfortunately with the metal 2 story roof you have is extremely unsafe in any kind of bad weather, so we were forced to reschedule. As far as the other scheduling mishaps - I am truly sorry, and I am still looking into what happened. When our technician cam out he did absolutely get on your roof and complete the full level 1 safety inspection. In that inspection he did not find any evidence or signs of a leaking chimney. We have reached out to you through email and offered a free leak estimate (up to a level 3 inspection $325.00 value) and 20 percent off any repairs needed on your chimney. We truly hope to be able to come out and make this situation right by you."
This was a $50 big deal purchase. It ended up being okay. I had a couple of issues with the price that was quoted to me versus what they told me once they got there. I talked to the owner's nephew and he said that he was going to take care of it. I think the total I paid was around $550. The initial consultation that the owner's nephew did was pretty quick, but it took another couple of weeks before the people actually doing the work actually came. It took going back and forth between the people doing the work and the owner's nephew who did the quote to get, I guess, a resolution done.

"Thank you for the review. As I am sure you know, a major part of our job is to tell someone when there are safety defects with their chimney. We take pride in the work that we do, and do not offer any unsafe or temporary fixes. Unfortunately, for the work that is needed on your chimney, this is the least expensive option. If you would like we could give you pricing for vent free gas logs, or an electric fireplace install, but for your particular system it looks as if they would all be in about the same price range. Even though we could not help to make your chimney safe to burn in, at least you now know that is is unsafe. If I can work with you in any way to get your repairs done, and your chimney back to a safe condition I would love to speak with you."
