My service from Boen's was outstanding. From the proposal and review process to the very low fee for what I think is a large project the experience with Boen's was above my expectation all the way through.

They came and gave us an estimate first; sent us a copy of their Certificate of Liability Insurance. In the meantime we had gotten another estimate which was quite a bit higher. Called them to set a date which was a few weeks out. They had 3 people come that day and they got right to work. We were happy with how everything looked and the debris removal was very clean. I had asked for a 28" segment of the avocado tree trunk and they were happy to oblige

Jeff Boen had wanted to schedule work for one day last week but I called & requested that it be done on a day when my husband was home since we have 2 large dogs and this was going to be an all day job. He graciously rescheduled us and the crew showed up as promised at 9am. They worked so hard and so CAREFULLY all day long through to about 4:15 and we are amazed! They are such a professional group of men who work extremely well together to be careful not to damage anything in the process. The oak tree in the backyard was huge and overhung two of my neighbors yards, not to mention our pool cage & they took extremely great care!

Boen's Tree Service was amazing! After getting numerous estimates, Boen's was the most reasonably priced and had the best reputation. They showed up on time, with 5 trucks/equipment and 10+ men. They knocked out the trees in a few hours and cleaned up behind themselves. We were very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone.

Wonderful. Gave acceptable estimate. Called to make arrangements for date of work. Came on time. Worked all day until the work was completed. Were extremely neat! Tree was near home, fence line and power lines. Completely removed without any damage whatsoever to any of those items - home, fence, power lines. Very professional. We will continue to use them to trim and "clean out" our other four trees in preparation for hurricane season. They came highly recommended by another professional in a similar line of work.

We had a very large and beautiful laurel oak in our backyard which was diseased and posing a danger to our house and our neighbor's. A very experienced licensed arborist told us that the tree was in such bad shape that it could fall during the removal process unless it were done correctly. He recommended several companies, but said that Jeff Boen had the most experience in handling such trees. Boen's was also the only tree company in Pinellas Co. who had a bucket truck (cherry picker) that would reach high enough to do the job without using a crane (someone from one of the other tree companies told me this!) We got estimates from 3 companies. Boen's price was in the middle, but he agreed to match the lowest bid since it came from a very reputable company. My neighbors on either side also had tree work to do and said that they'd go with Boen too, so he gave us a discount for all doing the work together. (All the companies said they'd do this.) Boen's crew showed up right on time and did a great job. Boen's foreman Donnie has been with the company for years and really knew what he was doing. The men were very professional and polite; their experience really showed. They did a good job on cleanup afterwards (tho' with a job this big, one has to expect some wood chips left in the yard.) I'm glad that we entrusted this job to Boen, and I would definitely use him again.

Hurricane trim trees. I have used them several times. Every time very satisfied. Cut exactly what is discussed prior. Arborist comes out prior and discusses plans and needs. After they clean up and remove all debris.

The crew did a good job with trimming and raising the canopy on our gardenia and mock orange, but failed miserably in removing the tilandsia from the crape myrtle. Mostly, they pulled off the low hanging tilandsia that we could have reached ourselves, but left the heavy infestation on the top of the tree where we cannot.

The crew was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. They provided significant commercial equipment which facilitated all of the operations. There were a total of 5 oak trees addressed and of particular interest was a massive live oak tree which required 4 large rods installed as a preventive measure in the event of very high winds. They also did a superb job cleaning up afterward. We would definitely recommend them and use them in the future.

The owner ( who is a certified ) came at the appointed time and gave us an honest detailed written estimate on what had to be done without trying to sell us additional work. His crews came at the appointed time, very professional and with all the safety gear that was required and crew chief verbally went over with me what was going to be done (to double check what I had asked for to be done. His crews were all professional and were able to answer all my questions. At the end of the job the owner came by to verify, again, that what was contracted to be done was done and that the premise's was cleaned up properly (and of course to collect a check.) They are not cheap but you get what you paid for and is worth it to get the job done right the first time. They arrived on time. Work and clean up were excellent. Couldn't be more pleased.

They were a little later than expected but it was due to the morning customer asking for more things to be done than Jeff had quoted which was not a problem for us. They did such a wonderful job and I couldn't get over how conscientious they were - asking me if what they's done was okay. When I saw branches going over neighbor's fence I asked if I should call the neighbor and they had already gone and knocked on their door asking permission to enter their property. They made it a worry free experience! The clean-up they did was immaculate in the backyard - we have 2 dogs and with the holly tree leaves having points on them, I was relieved they got most of them up! They put the palm trimmings in the driveway and about an hour later, a huge Boen's truck came by with a claw that picked up the debris and THEN the guy got a blower and actually cleaned up any stuff left on the sidewalk! You just don't get such conscientious tree trimming from everyone - they exceeded any expectations I had, as usual!! Have been using them for at least 3 years now!

He came right out and gave an estimate. He did the job good and the price was fair. I have used him twice now and would use him again in the future.

I really like this company. They came and gave me an estimate which was less than 2 others I received so I accepted it and we made an appointment. They came on time with lots of help and did a great job.

They came on time, worked quickly and cleaned everything up when they left. I am very happy with the job they did. They were great to wok with and I would definitely recommend them.

They did fine. They knew what they were doing. I give them As across the board.

It was pretty smooth. I called two companies. I already had an idea of what my usual tree company charges. One didn't want to take on the small job and Boen's gave me a good price so I chose Boen's. When I told them I wanted them to do the work, they told me it would be about 2 weeks out. I hadn't heard from them for 2 weeks so I called to check where I was on their schedule. I left one message on Monday and another on Tuesday. I received a call back on Tuesday and was told they were behind. I understood considering the weather. But, when I returned home that day, the work was done! So, of course I was pleased. It was like the tree was never there! I think the one thing that could be improved is communication. But, in the end my tree was removed so I am pleased.

The quality of his work was good. The trees look great and I'm satisfied with the work. I'll definitely use him again in the future.

They charged me $650 for their services. Their service was excellent. They showed up punctually. They took both trees down in one hour’s time and cleaned up their mess. They were very good. I will use their services again in the future.

I was satisfied with them. I can’t remember how much I spent on their services. It was around a few hundred dollars. I was satisfied with them and I would recommend them. They were timely and they did the job in a clean way. It was good work that they did. They were excellent. I used them and I would call them again. I had no problems. The next time I need tree trimming and that’s probably next year, I will call them back. I thought their price was fair. I can always get someone to do the job cheaper but I don’t know about the experience and the quality when they show up. That’s why I would use Boen’s Tree Service Inc again. So even if I pay a little more, I’d still use them. The quality of their work was good. It was excellent. They were excellent on responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism. I will absolutely use their services again in the future.

We just purchased this property and needed excees/dead trees removed/trimmed in areas close to the house, property lines and power lines. Jeff came out quickly, gave us a quote and did the work all within 10 days. We have used Boen in the past and they do excellent work including some extra trimming if it is beneficial to the homeowner. Their clean-up is complete and their people are courtious and friendly.

It always goes very well. They are prompt, do quality work, clean up after themselves and are very professional.

Crew showed up on schedule and performed the work as per estimate. All crew members were friendly, responsive and knowledgeable about their work.

They made sure that nothing got smashed when the limbs fell. I’ve had other people ruin lawn ornaments in the past.

Had used Boen once before several years ago for my parents' yard and was impressed with their work and professionalism. Jeff came out and gave an estimate, which I thought was very reasonable, so I asked him when they could do the work. We agreed on a date the following week to accommodate our vacation schedule (August 8th). However, on day of work, we had a big storm so they had to postpone the job. Boen came out the afternoon of the rescheduled date (August 18) and performed the work. A truck with a cherry picker, a truck pulling a wood chipper, and a pickup showed up on time along with the crew. During the job, Don knocked on our door several times to ask if we were satisfied with what they had done so far. The completed work was done to our satisfaction and debris hauled away. The curb appeal of our house has vastly improved because the the lower hanging limbs have been cut back to give the trees a more manicured and clean look. The back yard looks great too!
