I called for estimate. When he (Kevin) showed up Friday I had not yet arrived and the man at the property (tenant) told him work already awarded. (News to me since I called and I was paying the bill so why you yelling at the tenant or even talking to him) I was getting quotes for tree work and am still getting them. But I can tell you I don't want this man on my property. Because he left ME a message on my home phone so nasty saying he drove out and was giving free estimates and it was like I spit in his face. I don't need to start my day this way. So I called the office to tell them how rude he was and they were not any nicer. So now I have an issue with this Kevin and my tenant. It is a he said, she said. And now I not only have tree issues but now I have a bad review and tenant issues.

We have 6 palm trees, 4 of which are over 40 feet tall. they arrived early, trimmed all 6 trees, asked permission from our neighbor if they could put their equipment in their yard, and after cutting raked and cleaned up our yard as well as the yards of all 3 of our neighbors. When Kevin did the estimate, he stopped by, worked up the dollar amount, left not only the amount but copies of his certifications, insurance, etc., on our front door. No one was even home. Although he charged us $550, I felt his work and punctuality more that justified the cost.

I was not present but the outcome was perfect! I just have one tree branch of minor concern and hope to talk to them shortly. I would highly recommend this company. I work in the service industry too,and give this company "high marks" in every category.

We called Kevin because of his great reviews on Angie's List. He returned our call promptly and came the next day to give an estimate. A crew came the next day. They were professional, prompt and neat. We were completely satisfied with the service and would use them again.

Called Kevin for an estimate and he called me back promptly. Arrived when scheduled for estimate, examined tree and gave me his professional recommendations. Provided detailed written estimate and scheduled service. Trimming crew was a bit late, but not much; I wrote this off to the threatening weather that day. Great job on the trimming and they came and got me to review their work before leaving. We're very happy with the results.

Kevin came over to do an estimate promptly and on time. A Certificate of Insurance for General Liab. and Worker's Comp. was sent promptly. We contacted him to confirm work to be done and it was completed on time and very professionally. We were quite specific about what to cut and how much and he and his team were very patient and did an excellent job. Would highly recommend him and his team and we will certainly use them again.

Kevin's team arrived right on time and got to work. The work was completed in a little less than 3 hours. The climbers/trimmers did an excellent job on the 4 large laurel oak trees in my yard and were very responsive to my questions and concerns. However, I should add that one of the trimmers apparently didn't notice that the limbs he was trimming were falling directly onto one of my Crepe Myrtle trees beneath him, which resulted in some slight damage to the CM. Also, the overall yard cleanup (after all the trimming was finished) wasn't quite as thorough as a service I'd used previously. That said, I'd say that the quality of the work was very satisfactory given that Kevin's final bill -- $1750 -- was $450 dollars less than the other bids I received from tree services with an equally high rating on Angie's List. I would use Kevin's Tree Service again -- this time adding a few words of caution to the trimmers about other trees and shrubs in my yard.

On June 19 Kevin came out and looked at the two trees made his recommendation and gave me a written estimate. On June 23 I called and scheduled the work. They put me on the calendar for July 16, at 9:00 a.m. for approx 4 hours. It's a long story but the work did not happen that day due to inclement weather basically. It took about a week and half to get another phone call from Kevin but he did call and put me on the schedule for Aug. 15. The guys arrived on time with two trucks and lot of equipment about 6 or 7 guys and went right to work. It was drizzly and I was fearful they would not do the job but they didn't bat an eye. I believe it was Kyle that trimmed my oak in the front and he was AMAZING! He had to manipulate this big cherry picker thing and he was a real expert. didn't even cross the corner of my lawn with the wheels...it was very impressive to watch him. He cleaned up my tree and asked me as he went if he was getting it...my tree is beautiful still but trimmed up off my roof exactly as I wanted. I'm not sure of the gentleman's name (different from the guy that came in July) , but he climbed the BIG Pine in the back like it was nothing and took down branches as he went...then came down and laid it down with no issues. The crew picked up the mess in the yard and it was done fairly quickly considering the size of the tree. The thing that was really nice of Kevin is that he gave me a break and even though I asked them to just leave the oak trimming on the curb he had the guys go ahead and chip it and clean up the limbs "for my trouble". I thought that it was a really fine gesture. Anyway, I'd use them again in a heartbeat. I think I would ask specifically for Kyle to trim my trees in front. THE SERVICE WAS WORTH THE WAIT! They also took down a tree across the street at a neighbors house the same day.

Within 2 days he was here and gave me an estimate. They are professional and prompt.

Kevin was prompt in showing up to provide an estimate to trim and elevate the canopy of 3 large Oak trees on my property. Estimate was fair and very professionally provided along with copies of liability insurance etc. I did not use them only because they came in about $125 more than the lowest bid, but if work is needed again I will provide them the opportunity to bid due to his prefessionalism.

Tree removal was completed as contracted. Have used company's services for 10 years.

Kevin's crew arrived as scheduled. I walked the property, to review the work to be done, with Kevin and his crew chief. The crew worked very efficiently and did a very professional job. They were very careful to protect sprinkler heads and the grass that they worked on. All branches trimmings were picked up and the yard/driveway was cleaned with a commercial blower. I was very happy with the work.

Kevin's team did an excellent job with our tree work. They actually arrived a little earlier than expected and got straight to work. I could tell the team was made up of professionals. They had enough people to do the job right, brought the right equipment, and worked safely and efficiently. The person doing the stump grinding also did a good job, He was able to grind down the stumps of two large trees right next to our driveway without doing any damage. I was also very impressed with how well their crew cleaned up the job site. Other than the sawdust in the stump hole (which is supposed to be there), there wasn't any other litter or debris to be found. I will definitely use these folks again.

FRONT YARD CONS: 1. Kevin's son was on the roof and cut down a huge limb. He didn't cut the limb up into small enough pieces. He just threw the huge pieces down into our flower bed damaging a boxwood bush and sections of our azalea bushes. Also, on the side yard we had a bush that was tied up to prevent it from growing out toward the driveway. They somehow untied this bush and didn't re-tie it. Clearly, attention to detail and avoiding property damage is not one of their strengths. 2. We called Kevin to have him come look at the damage. Kevin's son came out and minimized the damage saying "Well, you had trees cut down. Some damage is going to happen. The bush would grow back in the Spring". This was a very unprofessional attitude. 3. We waited until Spring and the boxwood bush did not begin to grow back. On 3/27/2014, Kevin can out to look at the boxwood bush and agreed to replace it. We even said we would purchase the bush, plant it and he could reimburse us for the cost of the boxwood bush. We didn't even ask him to replace any azalea bushes. Kevin said he would buy the boxwood bush and drop it off in a couple of weeks. 4 weeks went by and NO boxwood bush. We called and left a reminder message. It is now May 9, 2014 and STILL NO boxwood bush! We have been more than patient. If you read other reviews you will see that we are not the only ones who had damage done to bushes or flowers. Some damage to foliage seems to be typical of their service. PROS: Clean-up was excellent. Overall, limb removal was fine. BACK YARD: Excellent job and clean-up was excellent. No damage was done. Ironically, the backyard work involved bringing in a cherry picker that was used over our pool screen...with no damage or problems at all. OVERALL: Had it not been for the damage incident, minimizing the damage and the son's attitude and their lack of replacing the bush is a timely manner, we would have given them a better rating.

Kevin came in person to estimate the job and to make sure that he understood exactly what I wanted done. He was punctual, professional, and congenial. His office called the following day to schedule the work. The crew actually came a day early to complete the work because storms were predicted for the scheduled date of service. They cut down all the branches and removed all traces of the debris. I was lucky that they came the day before the storm, because the force of the winds would have blown many of the branches into my yard and possibly my house. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat. Thank you Kevin for a job well done!

Kevin's and his crew arrived promptly at 9:00 AM and walked the job with me ensuring exactly what we wanted removed and what we wanted to keep. His crew then worked steadily at the massive job cleaning constantly as they worked and being sensitive to areas on the property we had ask them to be careful with (e.g. septic tank drain field, gopher turtle mounds). They left the site very clean and orderly when they completed the day. Prior to them wrapping up they walked the property ensuring that the work was completed to my satisfaction. After they had left I realized that one of the stumps from a large pine tree was still too high and would interfere with the fence being installed the next day. I contacted Kevin that evening and he had a gentlemen from his crew come in the morning to grind it deeper, ensuring that the fence installation was still able to proceed as planned. Excellent service provider with quality work and workman.

Kevin showed up on time for to give us an estimate to remove 13 trees from our backyard. Gave us a quote that was about half the price we had received from another service. While there he also suggested some other projects that we will need to have done eventually but for for money reasons we will have to wait on those. Was prompt on giving us a date to have work done and even worked with us when we requested another day. On the day the work was to be done the crew arrived on time even a little early and immediately went to work moving all the lawn furniture and stuff in the backyard out of harms way. It was amazing to watch the crew work, several of the trees hung over the fence over neighbors yards and they even moved some of neighbors yard furniture to ensure it was out of the way of the limbs falling. They worked as a team were very professional and we had a blast just watching them work they seemed to really care about the job and enjoyed their work. Once they were finished they blew all the leaves and small sticks into a pile and cleaned it up. They offered to put all the furniture and stuff back but we told them we would take care of it cause we were planning on doing some decluttering and purging of all the stuff. I give Kevin's tree service a AAAA+ and highly recommend them. We will definitely be calling them back to take care of topping out a huge laurel and can't wait to watch how they do it.

Kevin's crew was very professional , thorough and competent. When they were finished you would never know they were there.

the crew of men were fantastic, they had to take down a fence to get their equipment to the backyard to take down a huge oak tree and other trees. not only were they very careful and respectful of my property, they cleaned up after themselves and put the fence back up. They were done in about 3 hours. Their price was very, very good! I would highly recommend Kevin's Tree Service to anyone!!!! I will use them again to trim other trees in the future.

Kevin came to our house to give an estimate that we thought was reasonable. He and his men were prompt, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. They were quite careful and didn't step on any of the plants and bushes below the trees they were trimming. They cut some large branches from one of our trees that were hanging over the neighbor's roof, trimmed 4 or 5 other trees in our yard and cut down 4 tall papayas. Everything was picked up and taken away. They worked quickly, but carefully. Kevin gave us a written estimate and copy of certificate of liability insurance. Kevin's business received the Angie's List Super Service Award for 2013.

They were responsive, professional and did a great job. I had an estimate within a day (very reasonable), the work was done within four days and it looks great! I will definitely be using this company again!
